Very pricey for what it is and the quality. Got the Ultimate Platter expecting large portions but it was very small. Only 1 fish strip and a few other things. The taste/quality was not great. Maybe their crabs are better but their fried stuff it terrible.

I love this place because its affordable price and wide range of seafood such as escargot. Don’t forget its yogurt soju either, making up a great combination of crawfish place.

Pretty tasty, the food is ok priced, lots and LOTS of garlic, which is yummy! We always come here because of their groupon. It’s nothing really special, its a messy fun thing to eat but doesn’t really make you full. Service is pretty good, interesting décor with the sharpie scribbles everywhere. 3⁄5 stars –nothing fantastic, decent enough, flavor is pretty good

Ok so I came back because I was desperate and I didn’t want to wait in line at any other crawfish place, and I can most definitely tell you, they’ve improved ten fold! The crawfish was flavorful and juicy. When I opened the bag, the garlic just slapped me in the face. Lol. The garlic noodles were really creamy and flavorful too, I felt bad that I didn’t even want to share! I hope they maintain the way they make their food, because last night was pretty good! I’ll be back next time.

My first time here and it was not a very good experience. We came in on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was half full. We ordered an appetizer of calamari and Neptune pasta and 1 pound of shrimp. The calamari alone took over 40 minutes to come out! I thought it was kind of long so I ask the waitress why the food was taking forever and she said there was only 1 cook in the back. By now the restaurant was full and I’m sure everyone’s orders were backed up. Finally when the calamari came out I thought it was pretty bland and needed salt. It was a nice crunch though. My Neptune pasta for $ 14 was pretty good. I wish there was more seafood though. Shrimp was okay. The Garlic Butter seemed to be lacking flavor.

I kind of feel it is my duty to report that my girlfriend and I got sick after eating the Papaya Salad and Crab Combo(Cajun/medium) here last night. After hours of rolling around in bed, all $ 30 of Crabaholic was hurled into the toilet, and I am feeling pretty miserable today. Had the food not made me sick, I would have given the food a 3 — I do not think it tasted nearly as bland as other reviews claim. As for the service, I would give that a 2. I do not think«Not friendly» is a satisfactory description — I felt like the waiter gave off such a dickish vibe he was completely unapproachable. The only reason for the 2 instead of a 1 is because we at least got our check at a reasonable time and I cannot say that he said anything specific that made me want to punch him, it was more his general attitude and body language. That and he never refilled our drinks until my girlfriend made a face like her mouth was on fire(which was near the very end of the meal, right before the check). Unfortunately, never again.

First, I would not recommend coming here to anyone. First time came here and it would be last! Service: Terrible! The waiter was unprofessional, does not know what he was doing or right service. Food: The flavor of the seafood was not right! Flavorless!!!

My family really loves this place. We always seem to have a groupon. It’s never really packed if you come around 5pm, especially compared to Boiling Crab. And the food is just as good. We always order a crab boat — filled with fresh crab, corn, sausage, and potatoes. There’s tons of flavors to choose from(although my mom is a little upset that they got rid of the Singaporean flavor). The appetizers are great too. We’ve never really gone wrong with any choices here!

I always try my best to not be biased, and not allow my decision of what for dinner change based on few stars I see, but rather on my first impression. The wait at kickin crab was an hour and half for a party of 4, so we decided to try somewhere new. A crab place with no line? What?! I’ll get straight to the point: The sea combo came with a good portion of food: crawfish, crab, shrimp, clams, mussels. No disappointment on the quantity at all… The quality however… The sauce(Cajun by default), was light and thin. Think of oil and garlic with the water the food was boiled in. This left the food borderline flavorless. The shrimp and crab were difficult to peel– the meat was stuck to the shell! — and from what my mama taught me, when that happens… Usually it’s a indicator of not being fresh! Needless to say, I hope this business takes Unilocal reviews into consideration– as I know that I am not the only one bringing these up in a review. I wish this business all the luck, as there is a lot of greater competition out there!

I would recommend coming here instead of Boiling Crab. I ordered the Sunset Cajun Combo and Garlic Noodle. I think the seasoning is just right not too salty and not too greasy. The seasoning does not over power the flavor of the seafood naturally. Good food for the buck.

Tried the sea combo and side of garlic noodles with baguette and steamed rice. The sea combo includes snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, corn, mussels, and sausage. I liked how the sauce for the seafood isn’t extremely buttery or thick which makes it seem healthier then other crawfish restaurants and not as high in cholesterol. An order of baguette gives you two loaves and its baked served warm. Had a good dining experience here.

Do you ever go to a Chinese supermarket, go to the seafood section, and sometimes see that they are trying to sell dead crabs? And, you think to yourself, I would never buy dead crabs… Guess what, you’re actually getting them here. :( I got the Groupon deal and thought it was a good idea to get for my mother-in-law when she came into town. Went there to order. Groupon allowed me to take it «to go». But, I’d give the ambiance a 2 out of 5. It’s a little dim inside and not very well decorated. The person at the register wasn’t that friendly. Cashier tried to upsale me the clams and mussels — despite me repeatedly telling him that my wife was allergic to them. I ended up spending a little more than what the Groupon had to offer. Just a note, if you get the individual dishes, Groupon covers it. If you are planning to get the seafood combos, you will have to pay more out of pocket. The guy at the register kept running my card and it kept it from charging correctly. It’s like he wouldn’t wait for the transaction to go through before trying to run the card through again. All I know is that the machine kept declining my card and I was sitting on $ 150+ pending on my card(with no complete transaction) for a purchase of $ 30’s. I had to give the guy another card and tell him to wait for the transaction to process. He didn’t give me any proof that he would refund me and said that the bank should clear it. Such a headache.(Fortunately, it did clear but it took 1.5 weeks.) After all that, stuck waiting for the food for 20 minutes. No complimentary anything for the trouble he caused. When I got my order, I headed back home with excitement to surprise my mother-in-law. Only to my disappointment, there were a lot of pieces that appeared almost inedible. I had to fish out the pieces that looked like crabs were swimming in black oil or something. Barely any meat at the joints. It really did look like crabs that were dead for a while. Had to salvage what I could and treat my mother-in-law to something better the next day. I was really disappointed for the quality of this food and plan to never come back. In fact, I think it would be best for a food inspector to go here and figure out if the food they are selling is edible at all. I would never recommend this place. Best bet, try Crawdaddy or Boiling Crab. Pretty sure you won’t face food poisoning there.

We went here with a Groupon. We thought it was OK, the service was OK. There were a number of people who came in to pick up to go orders while we were there.

Tasty yummy lemon pepper sauce! Place is cute and quaint. Creative sea inspired décor. Great accessible parking. Fast and friendly service Garlic noodles are a must try, if you can request extra crispy noodles, and dip inside the lemon pepper sauce ! It’s awesome

I really love the escargots! Its a bomb! You have to try it. The sauce is okay, not very special. But clam is very large size. Definitely come back for the escargots!

When we walked in, the place was empty, which seemed like a bad sign for a crab place during crab season. Any concerns were quickly forgotten as our super-friendly waiter took our order, made some suggestions on the best way to do our crab and then… we got our crab! So good. It was cooked spot-on and the sauce was very tasty too.

Bought their groupon offer of $ 12 for $ 20 worth of food so I thought I’d try a crab here. Probably won’t be back… I can see why this place is just 3 stars. The crab’s garlic sauce was actually tasty, but the dungeness crab itself was small and extremely overcooked. It was hard to get the meat because it was too stuck to the shell from being overcooked. Don’t get the mussels. They were teeny tiny… sauce was salty weird, and I’m pretty sure I got a stomachache from it. Oh, the server told me they were way spicier than boiling crab so I went with«spicy» instead of «extra spicy.» INCORRECT! Not spicy at all. These two items totaled ~$ 42. The only cool thing about this place is that it’s the only cajun joint opens until 11:00pm.

Honestly, you are better off burning your money on Claw Shack, Kickin’ Crab, Boiling Crab and elsewhere. No lines here, open seating for this crawfish joint I could honestly see why. I mean this location has changed ownership I believe it was 3 times. Food: We ordered 3 lbs of crawfish which did not seem to be 3 lbs… because it looked so much less than that. Crawfish was WAY too overcooked. Sauce was bland and could use a little more seasoning and butter. Corn was not cooked thoroughly and could use a bit more garlic in the bag. Garlic fries were thick steak fries which were not too bad and weren’t oily so instant bonus on that. Calamari Rings had too much batter and portions were small for it’s price. Atmosphere was a-ok. Could use more staff members here the last time I came here I only counted 3. They weren’t welcoming either.eh. Our meal and we did not leave satisfied. more like horrified.

Came to this place because I found a deal on Groupon. I was a little iffy about coming here after reading all the reviews here on Unilocal, but I thought it was worth a shot because it’s seafood after-all. I am really disappointed at this place. Even with the Groupon which saved me $ 8 on our meal didn’t make it any better. We ordered the Sea Combo(which came with crawfish, shrimp, clam, mussel, corn, sausage and like 2 pieces of dungeness crab), 1 pound of shrimp and cajun fries. As much as I love seafood, I am not a seafood expert… BUT I am able to tell when the seafood isn’t fresh. In this case, the crawfish and the crab was NOT fresh. Most of the mussels weren’t even fully cooked. Gross. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else. The only good thing about this place is their cute little ships they put your shrimp in and the towelettes they give you to wipe your hands with.
