Came tonight for a late«Dinner» and had Jubilee taking orders again. She is so rude, this time she asked«How can I take your order» and I said«Hi! Can i get a number 7» and i realized she couldn’t hear me because we were far back(a car was still in front of us) so they finally pull more up and i follow along getting to the box and she doest say anything for a good 4 minutes. I figured she’s busy because the lines are always long so i wait for her to say something. Then finally«HELLO??» She sounded so annoyed. Im sorry girl. Damn.

We come to this location often and this is my first time ordering with Jubilee. She was extremely rude with us and the people ordering behind us. My boyfriend wanted to try the new Siracha Curly Fry burger and didn’t know what it was called so he said a curly fry burger and she said«what?» With a bunch if attitude so he repeated and she said«theres no curly fry burger.» And he said«but it’s on the screen» and she said«that’s not a curly fry burger, but ok» and he was so confused. Then we get to the pay window and she asks those customers«what do you want» WHAT??? So rude.

If only I could give no star for this Jack in the box, I would. I asked my husband to drive me to the nearest drive thru restaurant(which is this jack in the box) to grab some dinner snack. We went to the drive thru cos we are in a hurry. We were in the line for 10 minutes to wait for our turn to order our food. Then another 10 – 15 minutes for us to get. What the heck? That’s why we went drive thru cos we thought it would save us time, but i guess we were totally wrong. NEVERGOTOTHEIRDRIVETHRUIFYOUAREIN A HURRY! AVOIDIT!

This Jack In The Box is okay. It’s pretty good. I like that it has a drive thru. The new soda machine is pretty cool. Good fast food. It is close to Eastridge mall.

What a cunt! She seriously, after giving us the wrong drink, just said, «What do you want?» I want what I ordered! You literally have the easiest job in the world. A monkey could do it, and somehow you’re fucking it up. Guess what? Just got home and the order is still wrong. Shocking. Jack in the box, can we at least require a high school diploma?

Horrible experience this evening. I guess that’s what I get for having one night where I choose not to cook dinner at home and decide to go through a quick drive through for Fast Food and Disgusting Service. Didn’t get the drive through young ladies name but she had the worst attitude. Obese young lady, Hispanic, hair up, eyeliner… I simply asked for fresh jalapeño poppers & returned the dried cold ones, she shrugged very loudly and said, ‘Look! They are fresh.” and she split my jalapeño popper angrily, the cheese was clearly dried up and crumbled. I said, NO. I’ve ordered these enough to know when they are fresh and the cheese is melted, please give me fresh ones. She angrily turned around and yelled out loud, cursing at that, while I was still sitting in my car directly out the window drive through. She said, ‘She’s bitching saying their not fresh she wants fuckin FRESH jalapeño poppers!!!’ Not a care in the world, I was in shock. Extremely rude customer service I asked to speak with a manager and an Asian timid quiet lady approached and gave me fresh poppers, I expressed my frustration at the service and she stayed quiet and simply said, ‘Here are fresh ones ma’am’. That was it!!! Horrible, never coming back again nor will I probably eat at Jack n The Box again. Gave me a bad taste in my mouth already, my entire family lives in the area so they’ll definitely know of my experience. Especially since I myself am in the service related industry despite my being involved in the corporate world-you simply treat others the way you want to be treated. With respect. Very disgusting attitude, is this how Jack n The Box hires employees? Without a care? I can imagine how they fry the food in the back!

Everytime I come here to drive thru. They always having problem giving me the right order… Especially the indian lady. She asked me for sausage or bacon and I said bacon and sauge for two orders and she said no meat? I dont know what shes talking about? This situation did not happen just once. It happens many times and in the morning around 6am-8am. They dont have a decent way to deal with customers. Well what can I Expect!

I don’t normally give 5 stars to fast-food restaurants, let alone Jack in the Box. However, this joint exceeded my expectations every time. I just went there earlier today and for the 10th time(or more?), they brought my food quick and accurate. Maybe because I was helped by the team leader, Mirella? You can’t go wrong with Shift Supervisors or Team Leaders I guess.(I had issues with Taco Bell supervisors though). Anyways, I will keep coming back as long as I get coupons in the mail.

Drove through the drive-thru around midnight, ordered my food, got to the window and paid. Realized I forgot to bring up the free taco coupon I had and asked if it could still be applied. The drive-thru attendant was pretty adamant in not wanting to do it but she finally did so. Got home and ate my food. My family members were in the car behind me and upon arriving home we realized that they had a just as crappy experience with the same employee. She was extremely rude over the intercom, the two family members in the car behind us both ordered the same chicken sandwich. They ordered the same sandwich but the small had no tomatoes and no mayo and the large was as is. After ordering different sizes, different fries, and different drinks, she asked«what did u not want on the large» and we said no it’s the small that we didn’t want mayo and tomatoes, she was snappy and said it didn’t matter. She repeated this over and over as we realize sure it’s the same sandwich and so she was saying too bad you can figure it out since it’s the same sandwich but one order is different and we didn’t want to have to touch the other persons food. It should not have been that big of a deal from the beginning. It’s true they are the same sandwich and we can check but it was the fact that she was so rude and kept repeating herself and cutting us off. So we drove up to the second window pretty frustrated before she could finish giving us the price. When we got to the window and asked how much she snapped and said«well I don’t know you drove away too fast.» And we just repeated how much and she finally took the money. She handed us our drinks, one of them wrong. And we had to ask for the right drink.(Which she would have gotten right if she wasn’t in such a rude rush and listened to our order). And then after getting our food we looked and they we so burnt there was more hard crust than chicken to eat. Very disappointing. We called politely and asked who we were speaking with and she answered rudely, «a worker». We asked fine then is there a manager there we can speak to(knowing there would not be at this hour) she then said, «yeah this is the manager» which she was not. She then asked how she could help us and we said«you can help us by telling your name cause we would like to make a complaint about customer service at your drive-thru window tonight» and she hung up! Definitely unhappy with this experience and service.

To start off I was waiting in line for about 10 minutes before they notice me. Cashier was not to friendly. No smile or greeting. All of the tables except about 2 of them were dirty. The parking lot was kind of full but the the restaurant was empty. There is a café next door. Im assuming people use this parking. When my order was ready the gal yelled out my number very loud. Place is ok for a late night snack.

When we ate there, one table remained uncleared the time we were there, and tables were unwiped. Further, there was a very scruffy-looking homeless man sitting at a table inside, and any time anyone came close — in other words near the ketchup dispenser — he would ask for money. I was asked for money twice. «Do you guys have any change? I’m hungry, I’m starving.» He also walked up to a table and asked for money. He briefly stepped outside, and then came back in. The manager did nothing. Everyone in the restaurant was sitting as far away from him as they could get.

I appreciate the effort and dedication that goes into every Ultimate Cheeseburger and Super Taco I order. The quality of the drive thru speaker is amazing. You literally feel like you are talking to Jack himself. Sometimes the drive thru line is long, so I go inside and feel more than welcome by the manager, «Big Johnnie». Keep up the good work!

Got off at work around 2am and decided to swing by this place. Only 3 cars ahead of me in the drive thru. The wait wasn’t long and I got my food right away. Some days the line is ridiculous and you’re in the mindset of either stay and wait or go find an alternative fast food joint with shorter lines. Curly fries and two tacos is what I had ordered. Tastes hot and greasy, just what I wanted. Just ALWAYS remember to get your sauces. It’s like the glue that brings it all together unless you like it without the extras, that’s cool too.

I’ve seen this location evolve from a rundown, scary part of Tully to the clean & modern look it rocks today. Nothing beats getting munchies at midnight, but the line gets pretty long. I think there are too many items on the Jack in the Box menu, and as a result some of their options taste like crap(cardboard tacos, stale chicken teriyaki bowls, etc.) Also by midnight they start to run out of breakfast menus already(I love their waffle sandwiches but there was no luck tonight). But if you stick to a few good solid defaults, you should be satisfied with these: the eternal sourdough jack, with melted Swiss and delicious bacon; or the ultimate cheeseburger, and most breakfast items. I also always get curly fries, and make sure to get a side of «buttermilk house sauce» aka ranch . The inside is actually ok, with a random fireplace and a computer that has probably taken some poor former JitB employee’s job at the expense of my brother and sister ‘s mild amusement. Also annoyingly they do not let you back into their own parking lot, but there is my favorite sketchy option down Tully near Lion’s to accommodate. As if all the drunk people weren’t an obstacle enough already to keep me from destroying my delicious greasy fast food. 25 points to Gryffindor for not putting a ton of ice in my drink, and smiling at least a little in East Side San Jose. Damned if it’s a hard job manning that register at peak hour, but they sure do pretty well (More than half the time) C+ needs improvement

This Jack in the Box is the close to home. I like ordering inside because the drive thru always mess up my order. Some of the workers can be pretty rude. When I come here late at night, there’s a lot of homeless.

For a location that was renovated not too long ago, it’s disappointing to see that this place is not well maintained. After ordering our food, I went to the drink station to see that there were spills all over the countertop that were not wiped up. There were stray napkins that people had left and not bothered to put into the trash receptacle. When I went to fill up on ranch and ketchup, I felt my feet slipping on the tile floor. When I looked down, I noticed that someone had spilled some ranch dressing and it was smeared all over. If someone didn’t know any better they could have easily slipped and face-planted on the floor. It wasn’t until I walked over to the cashier to let them know about the spill that they came over to clean it up. When we sat at our table, I noticed that all around the edges, it was sticky! Looking at it closer up, I instantly saw the old food that was stuck between the grooves. It was as if the tables were just carelessly wiped on top without any attention to the edges. Gross. Luckily the bathrooms were fairly clean but if the management doesn’t try to enforce a better cleaning policy with the employees here, this place will definitely be going downhill.
