This place always seems over staffed, which usually is a good thing. Except here it just means that they talk to each other and ignore the customers

Currently waiting on an order of fries… 20 minutes in and they are just hanging out with friends.

I remembered this place being so much better. Either my pallet has become significantly more refined or their quality went down. The burger was just bland, actually everything was bland and dissapointing. Comfortable seating was limited due to the awkward design, and to make things worse, this location isn’t properly vented and filled with light smoke. The cool décor and juke box got old real quick given the other issues.

Not sure if it’s self-​seating or we were supposed to he seated by a waiter but nobody accomodated us upon entry so we chose a booth by the window to sit at and then were served immediately.
We ordered the original hamburger ($ 8) which is a basic burger but with tartar sauce, a half fries half onion rings ($ 5) which came with ranch and ketchup, and an Oreo milkshake ($ 6).
The burger wasn’t great – the tartar sauce was spread on the bottom bun so it was floppy and soggy. The pickles and tartar sauce overpowered the overall taste and made the whole burger somewhat sour. The half fries half rings came on a small plate, not a basket like we expected. The shake was good and also came with an aluminum cup with additional Oreo ice cream and a spoon inside. Not sure what that was for but we added it to the shake anyway!
Decent place but the food didn’t wow me. Maybe I’ll try one of the other burgers next time.

The worst customer service ever. They were rude to my fiancé because they didn’t understand her accent and gave her the wrong food twice. I do not recommend this particular location. Usually, only the rockets in touristy areas do it right! Go to in and out or 5 guys; both are down the street!

They were super good! Although during Christmas in the park they were packed. Overall the service was wonderful and the food was tasty.

What happened to Johnny Rockets? It used to be a good place. Now the food is all processed with no flavor. The restaurant itself is old and in need of repair. I will not eat here again. No Charm and certainly poor food.

The cool thing about Johnny Rockets is the décor. Every little detail from the music, tables and chairs just screams 1950’s and I love it.
The service at the certain location is way better than the one in Downtown. The waiter was really nice and could pick up on small cues. We never ran out of water and he always came to check up on us to see if we need anything.
The food was pretty good. Their milkshakes never seem to fail. The patties seem cooked to order so when our burgers came out they were sizzling. I got the Route 66, which is a mushroom and Swiss burger, and I suggest it with if you’re in love with mushrooms as much as I am!
Overall, we had a great experience and I’d chose this Johnny Rockets over anything even though it’s the farthest. (:

Waked into this establishment today, we waited very long until we decided to ask for menus.
Once we had the menus we had to go ask for, since no one noticed we were sitting right next to the kitchen, a lady took her sweet time again to come ask if we wanted something to drink. At this point we were getting bothered by the lack of attention as it shouldn’t take 30
The food is good, nothing too special, but they messed up my order two times in this location already (separate visits).
It looks nice, i want to love it and you people do not let me.

Love love love their chili cheese fries! I also love their onion rings and burgers. My husband loves their milkshakes. Of all the times we’ve come here, we have only had great experiences with great service. I wished they were open a little later. I always want their chili cheese fries after some drinks.

My first time at Johnny Rockets & definitely my last time here. Both the food and service was horrible

My boyfriend and I have been here several times now, and none of our visits have ever been bad! Can’t recall details from our earlier visits, but today’s was great! I had a major craving for a fat, juicy burger last night and this morning, so we came here for lunch. Arrived a few minutes early before opening, but they just let us sit inside to look at the menu. Once music came on and everything,?service was prompt, and the food was amazing! We’re so coming back, sometime in the future :)

Poor service. Walked in and there was no one to seat us. I grabbed a menu and sat in a booth next to another family waiting to order. We waited several minutes and no one came around. When two attractive women walked in, they got instant service. The order for the family next to us was taken next and we were ignored. We waited a few more minutes and then decided to go somewhere else.

I’ve been here a bunch of times because it’s down the street from work. I usually go with the patty melt and a custom shake. Portions are mediocre, I’m always looking for big portions at a fair price. This place leaves me satisfied for a few hours. Definitely didn’t stop at another place on the way back to work because I left starving. Which unfortunately has happened at a bunch of places I’ve tried.
When I think burger I don’t go for a drive back to this place, but if I’m in the area it’s in the option cards.

Seems busy so it’s understandable that they would take a while; however, the way they deal with their customers seem to be rude at best. There is no feeling of hospitality here, the employees make you feel somewhat like a nuisance.

I don’t think I ever liked Johnny Rockets to begin with and this visit just confirms it. It was pretty busy last friday and from the looks of it there was only one server. I felt bad for the poor guy cause he did seem very flustered, but i could tell he was trying to stay on top of it which why this review got two stars instead of one…
One star mainly for the food cause the burger i got was pretty much tasteless. I don’t really like egg buns and the meat didn’t taste seasoned at all. It was a mushroom swiss burger and it was probably the worst one ive ever had.
The only pro of this visit was the fact that i didnt see root beer float on the menu and the server gave me one anyways :)

UGH. I haven’t been to a Johnny Rockets in years, but my most recent experience makes me never want to go back.
I walked in and stood by the door for a good 5 mins before I was acknowledged (servers even walked past me…) until a lady behind the counter told me to seat myself «anywhere I liked». I sat down at a table near the door and a few minutes later, my partner joined me – he asked if they had brought menus yet and I told him no. The restaurant was busy, but most people had their food already, so we figured we wouldn’t have to wait too long to eat.
We sat for a few minutes and watched the table behind us get brought some food… the server walk past us back to the kitchen and fidget with some dishes… walk back out to another table near us who had asked for some extra napkins/​condiments… and return to the kitchen. By this time, we had been seated for at least 10 mins (trust me, I was checking my phone) without anyone coming over to greet us or bring us menus — even the lady who had told me to seat myself was occupied in the kitchen. We kept looking around the restaurant trying to catch someone’s eye, but I finally got fed up when the same server came out a third time without making a beeline to our table or with menus in hand.
As we exited the restaurant, someone in the kitchen finally noticed that we were there and stared at the empty table we had just left. Sorry, dude… too little, too late.
I came here because I was craving a burger and milkshake, and sadly… no cravings were satisfied that night. I just wanted a milkshake, dammit!

I’ve had Johnny Rockets in other cities and they have been generally reliable for burgers and fries. This location was disappointing.
I went to grab a quick meal at dinnertime with a friend and we both came away unsatisfied. All I could taste in my burger was mustard since they loaded mine up with it. The fries were lukewarm, which I really dislike.
If burger and fries with a soda (plus tax and tip) get into the $ 15 range, I expect more.

Johnny Rockets has great burgers so i heard. sadly, not true.

I don’t know what’s up with some of the bad reviews. I must have came here on a good night. Actually, an hour before closing on a Sunday. The waiter were polite and quick. The bf had the Original burger which he seemed to enjoyed. I had fries and the strawberry milkshake. Fries are thick and crispy. Yum. The milkshakes was the reason why I wanted to come in the first place. I ordered the strawberry milkshake. It’s so guuudd! The price is a little high but I guess it comes with the experience. This place totally gives off a Classic American vibe.
