Bigger is not always better. This place was located in the food court of Grand Century Mall. The food was great! I loved their Nem Nuong Rolls. I would have given them five stars then. When I first heard they were gonna relocate to the new plaza I was excited. I thought they were gonna be another version of the famous Brodard. I was wrong. Last night, my family and I dropped by to check them out. The place looked fabulous! Unfortunately, none of us were impress with what we ordered. The clear noodles were too hard, the steak was salty, the rice was dry and even their Nem Nuong was not up to par. They are now a proper dine in restaurant. I hope they put the focus back in the quality of their food and not just the ambience. Two stars for now. I’ll give them one more try… until next time.

It’s been a while since this place had a review so if you’re broke like I typically am, and need something cheaper to get a portion of the taste of Brodard’s nem nuong cuon, this plays surprisingly fairs well – maybe because you weren’t expecting a dinky little shop in a Vietnamese food court with barely any decent reviews – to actually deliver. $ 6 gets you 4 fat sausage rolls. The orange sauce can use some work. It doesn’t really taste like anything and doesn’t add anything. Use something else for dipping your spring rolls in.

Got nem nuong craving today, so I remember they have a place at little saigon on story. I didn’t read the review at Unilocal at all before order. I got #1 nem nuong nha trang cuz it seem to be more 42 buck more. Good thing I didn’t get the #2, it the same thing but it is premade, so might be little dry, Also it don’t fill you up. I try it once. Plus making the roll is fun n I got mad skill making it heh. Good meal wash it down with a cola. The pickled carrots was dry n not very favorful, need 2 more hrs to soak more favor, But it doesn’t matter it not the Hero in the dish. Cash only, there a Atm inside, next to the food court. I

My buddy Toan took me here the other day and usually when I see a 2.5 star rating I get nervous but everything looked and smelled delicious. This is one of those times where Unilocal was wrong, the food was REALLY good. Considering it’s mall food one would expect poor quality, but in Asia they take their malls seriously and it’s not uncommon to find great food. This mall definitely has that Asian mall feeling and this place served up some tasty grub! We started with the Nem Cuon, Vietnamese Pork Sausage Spring rolls. They were awesome! The sausage was very flavourful, the mint leaves were fresh and they threw in some fried wonton wrapper in the mix to add a welcome crunch to the equation. Pickled Carrots and Daikon tied it all together. Very good and recommended! For my lunch I got the Bun Ga Nuong, I was happier than a pig in slop when I took my first bite of the perfectly grilled and seasoned Chicken! The dish had a pile of Noodles, Peanuts, Parsley leaves(?), pickled Daikon and Carrots, some Cabbage and a fried Egg Roll. It was served with a good sized bowl of sweet Fish sauce that I poured all over the top of the dish and it really tied it all together. This is a dish I would definitely eat again!

Since this place is basically in a food court like area, it’s easy to order and get your food. I ordered banh beo(number 6). If you’re looking for a small meal or a snack, this would be good for you. I was surprised to find croutons on top of the little saucers of goodness. Added a nice crunch. I actually was a big fan of the banh beo. And all you have to do is leave your dishes where they are for the staff to pick it up. I suggest the banh beo! I think four stars might be a little too much since I only ordered the banh beo but oh well. You could say this review is basically just for that.

Co-worker lunch at the Grand Century Mall food court. Stall’s name is Nem Nuong Nha Trang? I like Nem Nuong Cuon so got an order for the group and some Mi Quang. Nem nuong cuon was four good sized rolls with an orange, Brodard-esque, dipping sauce( ). This was a signature dish fail. The rice paper wrappers were hardening and tough to chew through like they’d been sitting around awhile after being made. The nem nuong was bland despite having nice grill marks. The sauce was also lacking. The fried egg-roll wrappers added a nice crunch… The Mi Quang, on the other hand, was not bad with some scallions and roasted peanuts on top along with the sesame crackers( ). This example had a light broth and nicely cooked proteins of pork, shrimp, and fishcake along with a boiled quail egg and nice al dente noodles( ). It’s usually less soupy with a stronger broth, but this satisfied, especially after the Nem Nuong. Nem Nuong Cuon: 1.5 stars Mi Quang: 3.5 stars 2.5 stars overall, but rounding down for botching their namesake dish. Note to self: Check reviews prior to ordering, not afterwards.

Bleh, there are way better options in town for nem nuong cuon nowadays and the last place you should go to, is here! I hadn’t tried this place before, so I gave it a try despite the poor reviews. I ordered some nem nuong cuon( ) for take-out and they were terrible. The nem nuong, which is supposed to be grilled pork patties, was not prepared well. In Vietnamese cuisine, there are two types of nem, one that is grilled and one that is fermented. They used a semi fermented kind, which was no bueno. Nem nuong cuon should be prepared with grilled pork patties and should include a very thick, sweet, dipping sauce. The pork and dipping sauce here was just not up to par here. Steer clear!

My dad ordered the #8, I tried a spoonful of noodles and found it to be bland. I ordered the #1 which is a plate of fried wonton wrappers, sliced cucumbers, pickled veggies, vermicelli noodles, «sausage», fresh mint, chives and other fresh herbs. The dish was pretty good, I just wished the dipping sauce had more of a punch. It was a little too sweet for my liking, there was fish sauce on the counter I could have used but decided to enjoy what they had made. Cash only and service is friendly.

I feel that most of the offerings in the food court of this mall lack a lot, and this restaurant is evident proof. I guess I kinda mean to be mean when I say it, but I don’t know how these places stay in business. A friend and I decided to try this place out for their banh beo. We were originally going to try their nem nuong cuon, but we thought that we’d play it safe by ordering those at com tam thien huong. It was a smart move! Judging by how our banh beo was, we felt that it definitely wasn’t worth it. If you really like banh beo, stick to the bun bo hue seafood hut or hue restaurant — those places are the best for them!

Family always orders the nem cuon from here. Their rolls don’t look that purrrrdy, but they are rather tasty. Each nem cuon comes with a slice of nem nuong, a fried crunchy thing, cucumbers, chives, and the other usual stuff. Their sweet dipping sauce is what keeps the family from buying rolls from the other stands.

I was craving some Viet food after many months of being deprived of it. The bf and I wanted something quick and fast, so we came to Grand Century Mall and browsed around the small food court and came upon Nem Nuong Nha Trang. I ordered the banh uot and eh wasn’t the best. For the price, it wasn’t bad but I’ve definitely had better banh uot before. This place will probably be a one time only stop for me, other than that I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat their Viet food.

I’ve had my share of vietnamese/chinese food… this is a vietnamese restaurant, not chinese. The food wasnt bad but I’ve had better. The service was HORRIBLE. There was about 6 guys working but it took forever to get their attention for anything. Our dinner came out before our appetizer, not to mention we had to send our dinner back because it wasnt what we ordered. They were vacuuming an hour before closing and with about 6 tables of people still eating, rude! One of the 4 waiters that we had to deal with, didn’t know what Sriracha sauce was, or what chili sauce was. It had to be explained to him and I was kinda dumbfounded about that… Plain and simple, the food is ok, but the service is what will make me hesitant about coming back here.

bestie said she loves the Banh Beo here… and their croutons. I commented saying«it’s pork rinds not croutons»… we get the dishes… and sure enough — they were straight up croutons. wtf. S’alright. I’m craving my other Banh Beo spot now though…

I was craving for some nem nuong cuon so my mom ordered me an order togo since she was at grand century getting some stuff. It was horribe. I only ate one and had to bribed my brother to finish the rest cause I feel bad wasting food. I think the dipping sauce to this dish is crucial and the sauce here sucksss. Seriously. if you’re inside grand century and wanted some good food. I would reccomend thai lovers or the com tam thien huong.

NEMNUONGNHATRANG If you’re hungry, and yo u happen to be in the Grand Century Plaza, and you’re looking for something quick, simple, and delicious, Nem Nuong isn’t a bad choice. I have no idea what I ordered is called, but it was quite good! Noodles wrapped around some meat with veggies on the side(the nem nuong rolls?) Good sauce to go along with it makes the taste all the more pleasant. For a mere $ 6 or so, you get a large plate of these delicious goodies, more than enough to satisfy your hungry pallete.

We ordered the pre-rolled Nem Nuong Cuon and an order of banh beo here. Neither was very good or memorable. If you name your place NEMNUONG, you’d think you’d have the best nem nuong? It’s like their wrapper was too hard, and wasn’t chewy or fresh enough. The banh beo had croutons on it. Not even tep mo. WTF? No bueno. I wouldn’t go here again.
