Quickwash Laundry

This place is dirty. The clientele aren’t shady or bummy since its close to the school but there’s sticky spots and chunks of hair everywhere. Several machines I saw were out of order and another few had garbage in them.
The attendant when I was there was Shirley. She helped me with using the machines for the first time. She wasn’t very polite but I don’t care for socializing when I’m doing laundry.
I don’t like that they make you put money on a card. I have lots of coins I save just for laundry.

Closes at 11 (but last load has to start by 9:30).
And there’s a small parking lot with an entrance on 11^th St.
Clean place with helpful attendants. Several places nearby to get a bite to eat while you eat.

Been coming here for several years but I am rethinking my choices. I’ve put my card in the add cash machine several times and have been ripped off. The female owner pretty much called me a liar the first time saying I didn’t have as much money on my card as I said I did. Then recently I put my card in the add cash machine, put my $ 20 in and then it reads no cash on card, invalid and took my money and wouldn’t give it back. The employee on duty doesn’t have access to the machines. Calls the owner and says I have to wait till the next day to get my money back after she makes sure I’m not lying. We will see what happens. Went back the next morning after I called to see if I would get my $ 20 back and she said I could come get it. When I get there she hands me $ 19 back because the night before the clerk on duty put a marked $ 1.00 in after my $ 20. After I had to make an extra trip to drive back to get my money in the first place she deducts the $ 1.00.

This laundromat is really convenient, and the prices are reasonable. They have early and late hours which make doing your laundry almost any time of day a breeze.

This is not a coin operated laundry mat. You have to buy a card and load it. I hate that! It is virtually impossible to load the amount of money you need without going over, and the idea that I have to pay these people $ 3 for the card, just to use their service is absurd. On the upside, it has tons of machines and there is seating, and is relatively clean. The regular machines are pretty small. Close to SJSU so it’s a safe area. Clientele seemed pretty decent, mostly college students.

This place is disgusting and dirty. The only reason why I came here was because of the hyped up Unilocal Reviews and its convenience from my place. They accept no coins (there isn’t even a coin to cash machine), the laundry card is a ridiculous $ 3, and the cheap and dirty top load machines has a sign with a bunch a no-no’s. In detail, you can’t wash blankets, shoes, comforters, etc. in these so you’ll have to use the $ 4 bigger machines! To add, most of the machines are out of order! LAME!

— Located in a safe downtown neighborhood. People here are mostly students and neighborhood folks. Everyone here is friendly. The proprietor is very warm and welcoming. On my first visit she helped me with my laundry, something I didn’t expect by a laundry mat proprietor. I definitely would recommend this place for folks who live in the neighborhood.

Best place so far!
Clean, sorta cute, friendly attendants, TABLES, chairs, snacks, best dryer EVER, and pretty normal clientele.
I normally come Thursday mornings so it’s not very busy. Also there’s food places nearby (pesto bagel, anyone?) so it’s really a nice place to settle down and do your least favorite chore.
I live a block from a laundromat on Santa Clara that’s DISGUSTING. Don’t waste your time and take a few extra minutes to walk here.

Love this place. Out of all the places I’ve been this one has to be the cleanest. The machines don’t look abused or second hand. There’s also the benefit of never finding fecal matter in the machine.
Friendly staff. Never a questionable group of people. And wifi, which is now apparently something we all look for when picking a place to wash our delicates.

Usually not crowded, plenty of machines to use. Staff is pretty friendly. Nearby House of Bagels, 7 – 11, and Subway so you can get a bite or drink while waiting. Free wi-​fi, plenty of seating, and two parking lots – which are gold mines in downtown.

Don’t come here if you’re not local. They charge you $ 3 for an access card. That’s a ripoff.

I’ve been going hey since my second semester at SJSU. This place has tons of machines to suit all your needs. They have some really huge machines in the back too if you need to do one massive load of laundry.
The majority of the machines use a card system. A card costs like 5 $ and you can use the machines on the wall to reload the card. This is so convinenent not having to lug a huge bag of quarters around just to do laundry. The staff is nice and will help you if you need it.
The only problem is the bigger machines are a little pricey and some parts of the place are a little dirty.
Buy either than that it’s a great place to do laundry!

It’s only $ 1.50 per load when you wash, and about $ 1.00 when you dry you clothes. This place is quiet most of the time, and its location is good. In front there is a 711, and on the other side there is a Subway, and in front of the Subway is a pizzeria. They also offer free WIFI, and sale detergent and clothes softner. The prices for the detergent and softer are a little to high though.

It is clean, but the ceiling needs a little more love. I can see spider webs all over the ceiling; overall more cleanliness. The TV is never on or the radio.
My boyfriend and I have gone to different laundromats, and by far this is the one that we like the most. I would give it 4.5 stars if it was available. The reason that I do not give 5 stars is because it is very dusty in some areas and the spider homes.

I have had multiple bad experiences dealing with the unfriendly and unhelpful staff here.
In order to operate many of the machines, you need to buy one of their proprietary chip cards, which must be refilled with cash at a station inside the laundromat. The station is unreliable; often not accepting bills if they have even a little bit of wear. The mechanisms that are supposed to eject your card when you are done do not work, and haven’t for months. The management seems in no hurry to fix them. There are often several «out of order» machines on any given occasion. I have had problems with the card readers on both washers and dryers not reading my card properly.
Today I started a load of laundry in a dryer on high heat setting. After waiting the full time, I discovered that the clothes were still wet and cold. I spoke to the attendant in an effort to get refunded for the cost of the dry. She did not speak English very well, making it difficult for me to get my point across. When I finally did, she refused to do anything to compensate me for my loss of time and money. I was finally able to get a number to call the manager, but it went straight to voice mail. That is about the time I realized that it would be a better use of my time to give them a bad Unilocal review instead.
The bottom line… Bad service, unreliable machines. Today was the last straw. I will not be returning again.

Um… what happened?
I put my loundry in well ahead of time, put it in the dryer and planned to be back in 30 minutes, 40 minutes before the stated closing time…
Only to find the door locked with all my laundry inside! What am I supposed to wear to work tomorrow?
Had the closing time stated 10:00, I would have planned to come back before 10. But since it stated 11PM, I would expect to be able to pick up my dry loundry at 10:20. And they open too late for me to pick it up in the morning.
Way to go. Will not be back.

I’ve been taking my laundry here after reading the previous reviews. The lady is really nice and quick to tend to you even though she is working on something else. There is also great wifi so I usually just bring my laptop while waiting for my laundry.
You have to make a $ 3 deposit for the card. It’s $ 1.50 or $ 2.25 for wash (depending on the size of the washer) and $ 0.25 for each 7 minutes for drying.

Argh, the washing machine in my building broke. And obviously I wait until the last minute to do my laundry like the procrastinator extraordinaire I am! I walked here carrying 2 full loads in a laundry basket (which was, yes. a feat in itself — but hey exercise yay!).
The lady quickly greeted me and explained how it worked. She was helpful and even gave me the WiFi password on the spot as well. So, as my laundry was washing I walked across the street and got some pasta then came back and my laundry was ready to be put in the dryer. Bear in mind, I had 2 FULL loads and the lady said it would fit in one dryer load.
Ahhhh yeaahhh she was right! 38 minutes and one episode of breaking bad later. I was folding my clothes like a boss then on my way home! I’ll be sure to come back here again if the machine in my complex is broken again.
The machines and the facility were quite clean and the WiFi was speedy enough to stream some netflix on my tablet.

Went on Unilocal,went to Quickwash, just got back to Unilocal them 5stars. Clean as it gets especially in downtown San Jose. The owner/​operator was helpful. Only problem was my quarters were no good, they use paycard operated machines hehe.
I stayed well over in the 30 min parking because I could’nt find parking anywhere else.
