I love this place! I always look forward coming here. Their salmon fish tacos are as good as it gets! Their fish is fresh and delicious! The chips and pinto beans that come along with the meal(if you get the full plate) are great as well. Out of the whole food court, I would definitely choose this place!. Their corn tortillas are soft and good size for tacos. Come here and enjoy great food! :)

I force my boyfriend to bring me here all the time. I LOVE their atlantic salmon tacos and burritos and he has newly fallen in love with their chimichurri burrito. Their customer service is always great and food is always ready quickly. Salsa bar is fully stocked and they offer you a free drink if you fill out a survey online. Always coming back here. Even though its in a noisy mall.

Was looking for quick hunger fix at the mall, for something relatively on the healthy side and small. I decided to get some street tacos, the steak and pork one ones I believe with everything on them. They did the job, but the tacos were lacked flavor and were pretty bland even with their salsas, cilantro and lime on top. The meats were dry and didn’t taste seasoned. The service was fast, but then again they had no line whatsoever. Maybe I’ll have better luck with their fish tacos, their regular street tacos are not that great and not worth spending money on.

I would rather go to a location outside of the mall. This one was ok, but the«salad» I got probably had three bites of lettuce so I asked for an extra side — which they gave me, so I was thankful for that!

The gal offered chips and guac and I passed. She still gave me a small side. Totally unexpected. Sometimes it’s the little things. I hope Alitzah gets a raise

After our waste of money & time disaster last night at California Pizza Kitchen, my son and I needed to kill some time before our movie so we stopped at Rubio’s for the first time. The girl and the counter was sweet & refreshing(the receipt says Messina, I don’t know if that was her first name or last)! Genuinely concerned with helping us! Probably would have thrown out a napkin that fell on the floor!(See my CPK review to understand). I thought I would check out the Fish Taco which the menu promotes pretty well. It was fantastic. And so was the salsa bar. And so was the counter girl to my son who has Down Syndrome. Thank you Rubio’s and the counter girl for making up for our complete was of time and money at the California Pizza Kitchen’s lack of sit down«service». 10STARS

TACOTUESDAY! FISHTACOS for $ 1.50 on Tuesdays after 2:30PM till closing. I don’t really like fast food… especially fried fish. However, I love love love Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill. My favorite is their lobster tacos, though I have heard that it’s not actual lobster it’s some other crustacean. Aside from my seasonal favorite, I love the original fish taco. It’s super worth it on Taco Tuesday. The original fish taco is a fried filet of fish, salsa, and cabbage shreds in your choice of tortilla. I always get flour. The taco always taste so fresh made for fast food. I am not saying that their taco’s are better than the authentic mexican fish taco, but they sure are good. They have a salsa bar for you to customize your taco to your liking. I am someone who loves to eat spicy, but their spiciest hot sauce is more smokey than spicy. I actually enjoy the salsa verde. It’s really light and tangy. Don’t miss out on Tuesdays!!!

I had their steak burrito, and was surprised at how good it actually was. I had mine without the chipotle sauce(doesn’t sit too well with me, lol). The burrito had black beans in it, which made me hesitate at first because I’m not too crazy about them. But the taste of it actually worked well with the burrito. I liked how the burrito had a little zest to it. All in all, a decent place. But looking at the rest of the reviews, apparently I need to try their fish tacos next time!

Got some $ 1.50 Tuesday fish tacos on a flour tortilla to sneak into a movie screening for Horrible Bosses: X They forgot to wrap a lime in mine! Luckily, I always like to pack a couple more limes just in case. For some reason, the fish tacos I had at this location was better than the other Rubio’s I’ve had, or did sneaking food in the theatre make it taste even better? The garlic herb shrimp taco with bacon is heavenly! If your cholesterol isn’t too high, you should try it!

Better than taco bell but nothing to write home about. Tend to be on the slow side too. Don’t eat here if you’re in a rush.

The fish tacos here are so good here! I like how they carefully wrap a lime wedge with every taco. The food comes out freshly prepared and hot. I guess it’s a trade-off since I usually have to wait about 7 – 10 minutes for my tacos… at least you know it’s fresh and that you’re NOT served some random taco sitting under heat lamp! Nava, the cashier, helped take my order today. I just wanted to say thank you for the great customer service today.

Its a ok for a quick fix in terms of taste but kinda too pricy for it. I have tried cheaper in price Mexican places but really does good in terms of taste. Overall when I am hungry and craving for some fish tacos. and Rubios is the nearest one around. Ok I will still get it :)

This place has ok food if you’re super hungry and have a craving for semi-Mexican food. What makes this place not very appetizing is their CRAZYPRICING. I’m definitely not a cheap person but I must say you don’t get your money’s worth in terms of the portion they give you. p. s. Their chips are utterly stale and disgusting.

I have never had a fish taco before. Decided to order one when I was at Oakridge last week coz I wanted something different. And i have to say, their fish tacos are really good. And you can’t beat $ 1.25 fish taco tuesdays! The only bad thing I can say is that I had to wait almost 10 minutes for two tacos. Really? There are 3 of you working and only two other ppl ordered before me. Oh and I think it’s freakin hilarious that they give you restaurant pagers, coz they’re so busy! :D

Although I try to avoid the food court at all costs, today, hunger got the best of me. Hunger is a mean bitch and when she’s thirsty, she will head lock you onto the ground and make you squirt in your shorts. So I had to give up, and eat at the food court, or else I would drop to the floor like a rotten boob implant. As I waited in line, I felt fuckin scared. Not because of the faux mexican food, or the technicolor menu, or because the food might be bad. Instead… I was afraid that the food would actually be… GOOD. Me: Hey, can I get a tropical… wrap…salada… My vibrator went off and I picked up my food, rushing back to my store, concealing the bag under my arms so no one can see or share my embarrassment. HA! Look at that… there was even a sticker on the wrap that said«Special». Although, after ordering this disastrous item, I felt anything BUT special. Tropical Wrapsalada — The salad was just nuked in dressing — The tortilla was dry — The flavors were boring Overall, the food made me happy — happy because it was so bad. I’ll stick to my Lengua and Tripas tacos, thank you very much. I give Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill a 2.9 out of 5.

Quick and easy. Fish tacos are the best here. Super fast since its in the mall. Great deal if you choose to get a combo. 2 tacos, chips, beans. They are generous with the amount of food. Sure, its not that taqueria, but its super good food that makes you feel like you are down south at the beach in San Diego somewhere.

This certain manager here is a certified douchebag. During lunch, my friend and myself went here to get some food. It was during work, she worked at Victoria’s Secret and I work *at another retailer*. He didn’t see me with her and the manager gave her a very GENEROUS mall employee discount, and when I ordered next, he wouldn’t even give me 10% off and said they didn’t give out employee discounts. I mean seriously. What kind of girl would be impressed because you gave her a burrito at 50% off? I guess that’s how some people kick game. haha. Anyways, the food is decent. I prefer something alot more authentic, but the fish tacos and shrimp burritos here are pretty tasty. A little bit on the pricey side, consider how cheap mexican food usually is.

I love Rubio’s fish tacos and I haven’t had one in probably 2 years! So since we were at the Oakridge Mall we decided to have this for lunch. Food was great, salsa was great, the only reason I give this place 3 stars is because first of all its in a mall, and the seating sucks, and the teenager working the register had no idea what the specials were when my fiancé ordered it! Hello? You do work here? Probably won’t come back to this location, not because of the food, but because of the swarm of teeny bobbers you have so sit amongst when you eat there!
