This place is horrible. I tried to order a pizza and they would not take my order because it was a credit card order. When I tried to talk to the manager they hung up on me. Then when I called back the manager said that he didn’t care if I was their customer and hung up on me. The worst customer service ever. I will never order from them in the future.

This is our normal go-to cheap pizza :) I can order 2 large pizzas(1-cheese and 1 usually with bacon, cheese, onion, BBQ sauce & chicken) for $ 20 — can’t beat it!!! they are always friendly and have it ready when I get there — love family run businesses, so I we keep going back! Keep up the good work!

This is the most unfriendly place ever. But the food is about a 3/5, and the price is a 3⁄5 as well. So it averages out, all things considered. I would recommend many other places unless you live in Makati circle and can walk here. There is no place to eat your pizza there.

Star pizza is pretty solid for the value. They used to have 5-dollar larges, but they recently raised their prices. I would’ve given them 4 stars if it weren’t for their recent price increase. It definitely beats Little Caesar’s. The goods: –Pizza –Price –The wings(OK) –The pinball machine The bads: –Nowhere to sit(order to go for sure) –You have to ask for parmesan and red peppers –The Jalapeño Poppers –Recent price increase This is another place that’s so close to my house, I can’t seem to escape it. They are usually pretty quick too.

I order the $ 5 pizza all the time. Taste way better than ceazers wannabe deal. Wish they had better jalepeño poppers though. Best kept secret in san jose as far as pizza deals

Food is good. But it’s cash only and they rude about it. It’s a major turn off

Great $ 5 pepperoni pizza! Take out only. There is a minimum order amount to use your debit card so take cash! I’ve only had the $ 5 pepperoni pizza and it was great. They have other pizzas on their menu that looked a little over priced but I will definitely go back!

San Jose’s best kept secret. Unless you know where this is, or know someone that knows where this is, you’ll never find it. But, for $ 5 the pizza is great. It’s family owned and run. They’re always friendly, the pizza is always hot, fresh and ready when you show up to pick it up. They’ve added a lot of selection to the sodas, so no more running to the liquor store next door for over-priced 2 liters. They don’t take credit, cash only for the $ 5 pizzas, so that sucks sometimes. And their delivery is weird… they’ll deliver to my friends house in the middle of East Jesus nowhere, halfway to Morgan Hill, but not to our church that’s literally 2 ½ miles away and they’ve lost some orders because of it… we work there a lot and there isn’t always time to drive and goo pick something up. That’s where they lose their 4th star with me… Overall, cheapest and tastiest place to feed a crowd… Oh, and I personally prefer the sausage over the pepperoni. Their sausage is super delicioso! And if you’re looking for a place to chill and eat, this isn’t it… it’s take out only. Go to HIgh 5 for a cool place to sit and watch the game.

While not the best pizza in the world, it’s the best place to get a large pizza for $ 5 when you’re broke or unemployed and need to eat! The place itself is small, catering to the pickup customers and not a place you’d eat at. If you haven’t been here before it’s hard to see from the street, in fact I’m pretty sure you’ll never find it if you try to get here that way. Instead if you’re heading South on Poughkeepsie towards Cottle, you’ll want to make a u-turn at the light and as you pass the fire station turn in to towards the liquor store on the corner and keep straight as if you’re going to park in the back of the lot and you’ll see the pizza place. Likewise if you’re on Blossom hill and heading south towards the Monterey overpass you’ll just turn right into the shopping complex that has the bank and other stores and head towards the back of the lot and towards Poughkeepsie.

They are a great place to get a Large Pepperoni Pizza for 5 dollars. I will admit I like their jalapeño pizza. But did you know they charge you 5cent for small packets of crushed peppers or Parmesan? -.- I’m not basing my rating on this: They turned off their games they had in there =( Great pizza, make sure you have cheese and crushed red peppers at home. Plus I was kinda upset that I couldn’t pay for the pizza because they have a certain limit before using it. That you needed 15 dollars in order for them to process a credit card or ATM card -.- –SN PS I put outdoor seating, because there is a small ledge where you could sit(in front of the no skateboarding sign/near the pipes).

When I’m super hungry and don’t want to spend a lot of coin, I order their large $ 5 pepperoni. 10x better than Little Caesar’s $ 5: The cheese isn’t plastic, the crust is a little more crisp and it’s much better sauced. As long as you don’t expect fall-off-your-seat thin-crust heaven, it’s a solid place to get a value pie.

That last review sounds a little suspect… possibly an «inside job». As far as «The best pizza in the south bay» hahaha not even close. It was good pizza though, but it’s gonna take a lot for me to dislike pizza. I just ordered a large pizza w/mushrooms, onions(didn’t have red, so I settled for white onions), and jalapenos, and it cost less than $ 9!!! I’m studyin all night, so I’ll need some junk food to refuel just like i did during midterms and finals all my life. Like P.G. said in the first review, not greasy… at all! that was surprising. I’ve got 5 pizza places within a few blocks of my house, and this one makes it number 6. I’ll probably be back to try the jalapeño poppers they sell as a side. Oh, and i think it’s pick up only, but that’s a good thing because it doesn’t look or smell too clean in there.

Called this place up to find out delivery for my daughter’s birthday and got a girl on the phone first. She straight away put me on hold and next I got a man yelling at me. He was abrupt, and claimed to have spoken to me twice. He either has very poor command of English language or no clue in business. The way he tried to find out who was calling was by yelling«What’s your name?» His mannerism was so outrageously bad and I told him there is no way I would consider using Star Pizza at all. Guess what? He slammed the phone down on me. Unbelievable.

The best pizza in the south bay. You can get a combo full of meat and not be greasy. Great flavor. And don’t forget to ask for the anchovies on the side
