Subway

Parking is okay but the restaurant itself is good. There will be times employees arent excited but nearly every time, i get what i want and my sandwiches are clean.
Better than the location on capitol near the dental office. The employees there are horrible.

Came here to get a sandwich. I didn’t know that they will be shady with the add ons to your sandwich. Olives 4 pieces green onions only 3 etc. will never go to subway again.

Got out our car at 9:28 approached the door. And the chick locked the door in our face. Never coming here again

Ehhh.2.5 stars. probably won’t be back. Parking is horrible at this location and the sandwiches were just alright. Nothing special. Ordered the Subway Club and the Bacon Ranch Chicken Melt. A little lite on the bacon and chicken… There was more bread than anything in the sandwiches.
I normally don’t go to Subway… only came here because I wanted to use up a gift card I had just received…

This is my go to Subway location. The place is pretty clean and they do a great job of maintaining the cleanliness! The food is pretty consistent! I like the fact that the servers always use a new pair of gloves before they work on your order. Parking at this location is terrible during lunch. Best to get here before the lunch crowd arrives.
Update:
I use to frequent this place until they started to limit their «double meat» option. They no longer offer that option for their supreme sandwiches.

I don’t know why the poor reviews are given.
I come here about once a week for a healthy meal and the place is always clean, the 2 workers are always very nice and helpful. Sometimes they run out of a certain type of bread like honey grains and oat, but there are plenty of options.
They also don’t skimp on the veggies and layer them on heavy. I approve!

Great Sandwiches with super fast service, I ordered a HOT Pastrami Sandwich on Italian Herb &Cheese Bread. The Bread was freshly baked and Soft .The pastrami was full of flavor. The employees were very freindly and recommended the right toppings for the Sandwich. The store looked very clean and well organized the décor looked like it was recently remodelled.

I think as far as Subways go, this one is not too bad. It’s not in the best of plazas, parking is horrible usually and there’s just a lot of random garbage /​dumps nearby or it just seem really dirty. However, the inside of this Subway is sparking clean! The staff here is friendly and they’re not TOO stingy on the ingredients when you ask.
I know there are some Subways where you ask for spinach and they literally put on like 4 leaves … and you’re like… can I have more? oiy!
They have a pretty good selection of their breads, ingredients etc. even late into the night which is nice because some Subways I know actually run out of wheat or 9 grain pretty early in the day.
Overall it’s a good location for to go.

Probably not coming back to this location. Their sandwiches tasted «off» for some reason. Usually I can scarf down my sandwich with the quickness; however, this was not the case this time.
Although I watched her squeeze in some of their sweet onion sauce, I wasn’t able to taste any of it. Their bread tasted old too. I’m griping. I know, it’s a Subway, but I haven’t ever had a bad experience. This is definitely the first, and it makes my heart sad :[
Subway Berryessa location: You got some changing and upgrading to do. Get on it.

the bread at this location never tastes fresh, the people are pretty nice, but the food leaves something to be desired. word on the street is, this location does not toss out their bread after close ever night. I know I am not the first person to complain about this subway’s stale bread. I guess I’ll have to drive a little further from home to get my fix or go to togo’s haha. le sigh.

Customer service is what makes a subway, this one is lacking.
They offer kids meals but have no options for different bags. They let the kids grab cups from the register area then charged us extra for then since kids meals did not come with soda, but waited until after the kids had them to tell us that. Which is strange since other subways let the kids choose whether they get milk or soda. Besides that the sandwiches were on par.
I do not recommend this place as there are so many Subways around that actually care about their customers.

Ordered a tuna sandwich for my son with just tuna nothing else. You would think they would give you a good helping of tuna… wrong! One small scoop spread all over the sub. Cheapos!!! However I did like their Eco friendly kids bag.

Worst Subway I’ve been to. I went here to get a black forest ham with turkey on flat bread. I got it to go since I live so close to it and I’ve actually never been to this one till this visit. I got my sandwich toasted and took this baby home to munch on. I take 1 bite, the bread is stale… gahhh. Yes, I know, it’s toasted, its supposed to be a bit crunchy. It wasn’t crunchy in that way at all. So I had to hop in my car and drove back. When I got there one of the people don’t even speak english, sorry to be rude but really?!? you live in the US don’t you think you should at least know some english before working in an american restaurant like subway??? but anyways, after someone from the back comes to the front to translate they tell me the same thing, «you got it toasted, isnt supposed to be crunchy» and I just told them to take a bite and find out. After that the other employee called the owner. After 10 minutes they finally decided to remake my sandwich and the lady that couldn’t speak any english wanted to charge me again! HAHA. I just grabed it and walked out. End of story.
There are a bunch of other subways around the makee and king area so no loss in my part.

Ah, Subway. Top of my list for cheap, fast food. I appreciate the fact that you can see your entire order being made, and all the ingredients are visible.
I visit this particular location a decent amount. I’ve never seen this location dirty. The employees I’ve dealt with have been nice and patient. Depending on the location, I feel very pressured to spit out my order in 10 seconds and move down to the register.
My usual order is the Turkey Breast footlong on Honey Oat, toasted with Swiss cheese, extra lettuce, extra banana peppers, jalapenos, olives, pickles, light mayo, vinegar, mustard, and salt and pepper. YUM!
— 1 star for speed of service.
There’s a Starbucks in this plaza as well – convenient to grab a tea or coffee after!

I don’t know what it is but this particular subway’s is always really nice whenever I come in. They always say Hi welcome to Subways. I know it’s not really a big deal and it may seem a tad cheesy or corny especially to the employee but it always puts a smile on my face. Besides $ 5 for a foot long sings in great harmony with my wallet!
Kudos to the service manager! You trained a good team on service!

The mexican lady that was putting the meat and cheese on my bread couldn’t look more irritated/​annoyed.
Goddamn.

I was so going to kill this lady in front of me. She didn’t know how to order and she had a huge group with her too.
Picture this…
I came in and there was a huge group in front of me. So I waited and the lady began to order for her whole group. The poor guy helping her each time he asked if she needed anything else she would tell him to make another sandwich. Finally they girl helped me, she asked me what I wanted and then I started to tell her and then she left to help her previous customer. WTF? I was thinking if you are not ready to take my order please don’t tell me to order. While this whole time happening this Asian lady next to kept talking really loudly and started to become really annoying.
The girl finally made my sandwich and I could not wait to leave. Finally it was done. All I got to say is I am never coming back!

This branch is the closest to work, thus I frequent this location often.
— Service is average… they will make your sandwich as quickly as possible, not really paying much attention to neatness or detail… ³⁄₅ stars
— Finding parking is very difficult during the lunch hour as it is located in a small plaza … ¹⁄₅ stars
— Freshness of products… very good, never had a wilty lettuce or tomato ⁵⁄₅ stars
Overall I appreciate the value of the $ 5 dollar foot long and daily special promotions… especially now in this recession… and it’s healthy for you!

I don’t like the workers here. All they do is gossip in espanol and offer mediocre service. I always have to repeat myself and my orders cuz they never listen long enough to remember my simple requests.
Horrible.

Since I’ve been watching my fat and food intake for a while now, I’m getting good at picking out places that I can get quick healthy eats… and Subway is definitely one of them. Of course, you have to watch what you add and order but, I love that I can stop in here and know exactly what I’m getting into.
Also, if you get their daily specials, they’re not much more expensive than Lee’s!
This location is much like any other Subway, but it is also always clean and has mostly friendly employees. Now if it just had a drive-​through…
