Disgusting food(in my opinion). My parents and I went here a few years back and I had food poisoning. The service was terrible. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming ever again.

Keep sushi full. original taste clam. Huge squid. Noodle and rice replace fast! Not every buffet can do that! Tables need wax, carpet need to clean, kid is nose ! By the way, when go to eat, do check the bar first. s

This is probably… wait-undoubtedly the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. It’s disgusting. After grabbing a tiny sampling of each offering that looked good. I tasted them all and everything was horrible. I decided to just try the fruit, and even that was disgusting. I’m pretty sure this place is violating some type of health codes for the food to be this inedible.

I’ve eaten here numerous times. They have some of the best priced meals around. The waitress is always very attentive and nice. There is all you can eat crab legs on the weekend with unlimited portions it’s an absolutely fantastic deal. I often go here to eat after a good workout or playing basketball. Because when concerned with bang for your buck, this is the best place to go. My favorite dish is the General Tso’s chicken, which. I’m pretty sure I eat about a pound of every time I’m there. Just talking about this place makes me want to go there to eat now!

I will never in my life return to this place. Went there the hostess seemed to have better things to do like just be on the phone, she just looked at us walked to a table, pointed and left. Not one word was said on her part. The food option arent that great, food looked like it had been sitting all day. Me and my wife went to grab a second plate and when we both served our plate she had a look on face life she was gonna volmit. I asked her whats wrong, she looked at her plate and then i looked at her plate and there was a roach crawling in her food. I put my plate down got my 2 boys and went to the hostess to show her what was on the plate(by the way she was on the phone since she had sat us down) she just looked at the plate killed the roach and said(you dont pay) and went back to talking on the phone.

This place sucks! First off the DECOR is horrible, it’s like the place where Martha Stewart leaves her scraps from her crafts! It’s hideous. Second, the food selection is below average. The only good thing there are the frog legs. The sushi section has flies flying around. That’s gross! How do they even pass inspection? I would recommend Tomi Sushi and Seafood Buffet at Eastridge Mall! Much BETTER!

–1STAR!!! Came here yesterday after a long work day with my friend and son, excited to finally eat… my son got his french fries and chicken wings and took a bite of it and my son(8 yes old) said it was hard and dry and it hurted his teeth. As I looked at his food it looked DRY&OLDSMH. My friend took a bite out of her sushi and she said it smelled and taste sour! Right away we got up and told them I wasn’t paying! They blocked us from leaving, and I told them I will pay HALFPRICE just for them to sit down and eat a plate of what we picked.(When I shouldn’t pay at all) The lady(owner) had nothing to say and me being nice I did paid half price and told them that I’ll rather pay that and leave hungry than for me and my luv ones to suffer from being sick due to their food! NEVERAGAINWILL I COMEHERE!

Okay, honestly, I shouldn’t review this place. I’ve been here twice. Both were after funerals. So not exactly the happiest of occasions, but what are you going to do about it, right? Its a pretty small buffet, but they have a lot of different options. They are very good at refilling the food quickly. They’ve got the Asian food section with different soups/seafoods/fried rice/chow mein type things. They’ve also got the«American» section which is literally a frozen pizza plus fries. Their dessert section is pretty small, but they do have scoopable ice cream(which I’ve never gotten because let’s be real… who knows how long that’s been there, and how sanitary it is). I do like that they have a make your own udon/phở station… their waitstaff is very attentive and quick to check on you for refills and what not. The tables are a bit oddly laid out, but again, that’s not really their fault. Oh, this place has hella free MSG. Not MSG free, but«here, have some extra MSG» kinda place. haha. #Yelp100Challenge

I was allured into this place by the rather giant«Grand Opening» Sign that they had on the side of the store. Its a scam because the only thing Grand Opening in this place is probably the new sign. But even then, the sign is sketch and all they did was take out the«my» in Yummy and replaced it with a cheap looking«Chinese Seafood» and a completely random hamburger. Cmon really, a hamburger? If you are coming here expecting something different, don’t bother. Its more of the same only the owners tried to freshen up the place by attempting to fool customers into thinking it was a new store. It is not a Grand Opening if its the same exact store selling the same exact mediocre food. TAKEDOWNTHATSIGN!!! ARGGGGGGGGG =( The food itself is pretty basic, mediocre, and typical of cheap buffets. The crawfish here may look good but is actually pretty disgusting. The sauce however tasted decent. They also have this sweet and sour crispy fish dish, and out of all the items, this one was probably the best. Definitely try this if you happen to become confused and wander in here. Perhaps the best thing about this place is the ice cream. They serve crystal green tea, vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream here(the same ice cream they serve at Tomi Sushi at Eastridge). Its pretty good! This place is the same old yummy buffet, it just wore its shirt a different way. Instead of a T Shirt, its now a really old shabby crop top.

Not that great for a buffet… small selection, bussers stare at you as you’re eating. I understand that you want to take my finished plate… but when you watch I don’t know if I should make really awkward faces to make you stop looking or… stop eating. Ice cream was watery, cakes were generic and it wasn’t really yummy at all… For humor, they did play a silly recording of a happy birthday song over the PA system when there was a birthday in house. Haha so bad and funny.

Being objective as I can, this place sucks. The only thing this place has going for them is the price. I’m going to rate this similarly to how an AP reader would read an AP Lit essay(I’m taking the class right now). Wow, this place has edible food, so great! [5 stars] Aww man, the tables are sticky. [4 stars] What is this, the plates still have leftover food on them… [3 stars] The tables are placed too close to each other, my ass and this other lady’s ass were literally two or three inches from touching each other. [2 stars] *notices there is a sign that says wasted food will be paid for by the pound* This establishment has the audacity to tell me they’ll make me pay extra for not stomaching their food filled with MSG? Mhmm, girl you tripping. Nobody in their right mind feels healthy after eating your food. [1 star] TL;DR: This place is stanky and dirty. Don’t eat here. Tables should be adjusted, was not comfortable sitting ass to ass behind somebody else. Don’t eat here. The food is unhealthy, which is probably why it’s cheap. Don’t eat here. They make you eat everything or else you’ll have to pay for the wasted food. Don’t eat here.

The NOTSOYUMMYBUFFETOFSANJOSE! I’m only giving this place two stars because of the fact that they were able to host a large group for our fam/friends. And when I say large I mean over 60 people. Yes my family reserved this place for a huge reception for lunch. Walking in you can already tell this is NOT A FANCYBUFFET! Some of the food smelled good which made me want to try it, but sadly the food just didn’t cut it for me. One of the things I look forward to in a buffet is their sushi selection. Yummy buffet’s sushi rolls were OKAY. I knew it wasn’t gonna blow my mind so I made sure I only take one of each roll so I don’t feel bad for wasting food… highlight of my dining experience here is their ice cream!

I would give –5 stars so it represnts the other side of the spectrum as that is where is derserves to be. Nothing yummy about this place! My dad chose this place for fathers day this last weekend. Before we went I read the reviews but didn’t want to make him feel bad so I went anyways. I was extremely disturbed by the photo with the«critter» in it. And while dining here all I could picture was that photo. The temperature of the food wasn’t that great. If they offered glass plate wear instead of plastic it would help retain the heat of the food better. Don’t even get me started on the décor and carpet. The pleather seating had rips and tears and the carpet was disgusting. No joke, there were stains, gum, and it was just plain dirty. I stuck with mainly veggies here as the food isn’t labeled so you’re not sure what you are eating. Could be critters for all they cared! NEVERAGAIN!

I have been to Yummy Buffet before when it was MORE expensive and still was not great compared to other AYCE Chinese buffets… However, I have recently visited this place because my family raves about it being $ 8.99 for DINNER. Come ON people, it is so cheap, you think that they would invest much money in like top notch food? NO! Food: B Tinkering between B and B– but decided on B because it honestly is still better than Panda Express haha. There is like one long row of food which is divided up into different sections– appetizers/desserts, noodle station, sushi, BBQ/dim sum, ice cream, soup, and Chinese food. Many of the foods’ quality are subpar as many customers have noted, but some in particular are okay like the hot sour soup, seafood soup, orange chicken, beef and brocolli, clams, garlic bread, and ice cream. Honestly, the sushi is just made of a variety of veggies AND imitation crab. The noodle station is pretty decent though like Mongolian BBQ style. For $ 8.99 it is not bad. If you have a weak stomach or critical standards for Chinese, do NOT go here haha. Location/Ambiance: B– Since the place is always crowded due to the cheap prices, it really smells like a human pit and the air is just suffocating. The temperature inside is also pretty hot. However the restaurant is located in the plaza near Silver Creek and has ample of parking spaces. Inside the interior decorations are tacky with Chinese paintings everywhere and furniture. It is also way to loud here so don’t expect to hold an interview or date here. Service: B– Since they are so busy, every time you want something, you HAVE to flag them down. Practically took our server like 15 minutes to even stop by our table because we flagged them. I wish the restaurant hired MORE servers so the current servers aren’t overworked by an insane amount of customers and tables. I don’t completely blame the servers or staff since the restaurant is ALWAYS full and with customers, everyone wants a piece of the server. Prices: A Really now, $ 7.99 for LUNCH and $ 8.99 for Dinner. That’s even cheaper than some Phở and Bun Bo Hue places AROUND locally! And you get AYCE Chinese food, soups, sushi, and desserts! Definitely a cheap deal around and not sure if it’ll last forever. So do yourself a favor and give it a chance! TL;DR? Cheap food prices LESSTHAN $ 10 for AYCE Chinese buffet. Food quality and service however ranges from okay to subpar. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes or more for a table due to the high volume of customers.

Please take my warning into consideration… do NOT go here… –worst buffet ever… been here once, and never will i ever come back here… –went here on a weekend for a family event, so of course the place was packed – it was crowded and stuffy and musty smelling… uggh… –the food? i don’t know wtf goes on in that kitchen, but nothing tastes fresh… soups were running cold, food was either bland, drenched in msg and other preservatives, and/or too greasy –desserts: fruits were over ripened and room temperature… ran out of ice cream… and when they did refill it, it came out liquidy… –so terrible but true, but i found bugs on the plates, and flies hovering around the dessert buffet –just gave this place one star b/c i did like their doughnuts… that’s about it –this place had me sh*ttin when i got home… TMI i know, but hopefully this is enough to convince you to opt for another buffet… such as Tomi you’ve been warned…

This place plain SUCKS. The food sucks. The service sucks. The owner sucks. Think about bringing children here? Expect the management to grill your kids on how old they are to charge them a prorated fee depending on their age. Want a glass of water? Good luck. Want some decent food? Hope you don’t contract food poisoning with this place’s nasty/dirty selections. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Came here for dinner and I must say Yummy Buffet is on the bottom list of buffets you’d want to eat at. Food is mediocre. Nothing amazing, overly salty and sometimes I have to think twice if I want to eat certain things for the fear of potential food poisoning. Their selection is just like most other Asian buffets. Service. Not the greatest but not horrible. They’re pretty quick to pick up your finished plates but felt like i was asking for too much when I asked for a cup of iced water. What totally turned me off is that 50% of the plates that i picked up had other food particles or was not washed cleanly enough. Apparently they don’t screen their dishes and silverware for cleanliness. If thats the case not sure how clean their food is. Yeah, I’ll pass on Yummy Buffet next time.
