Too bad we moved away from San Juan so we don’t get to come here as often. Everyone super nice especially Tiffany always with such a sweet smile, not to mention she makes a mean latte. Absolutely perfect and I’m picky when it comes to my Starbucks! Thanks Tiffany for making my morning!

They made a mistake with my order and they took a little long to fix it. 3 bristas for 20 customer is not enough on monday morning. It made late for work today.

The perfect neighborhood Starbucks… Quiet and great to sit and work for a couple hours while sipping your grande double latte. The staff is always nice and speeds you through the line on weekday mornings.

Always friendly staff and great new pastries and sandwiches. I go to a couple of Starbucks monarch beach and San Juan Capistrano mainly. Staff is friendly knows my drink and makes sure I have enough coconut milk in my iced coffee.

Best Starbucks for service and consistency in the area. Drinks are made exactly how you order, the staff is friendly, each time has been a good experience. Too bad I have to drive so far to get a good drink. :)

The best Starbucks in the area! Friendly staff who actually seem happy to be working there, my drinks are always made to perfection, and it’s bathrooms are clean. And on top of all this they make coffee fresh unlike other stores that leave it sitting for hours! What more can you ask for in a Starbucks?

I love this store during Christmas — because of its location. Located near the mission, you have a little bit of everything around here. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast! Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else during Christmastime than at Starbucks with my peppermint mocha.

I used to work at Starbucks for 2 ½ years, so I know how important it is and should be for the employees to be good with their customer service. I came here two hours before they closed. And when we walked in and walked up to the counter and stood there for way longer than we should’ve without them even acknowledging us. They were too worried about doing all of their closing duties to take our order. It was the manager or shift lead that finally walked up as I said quietly«is someone going to at least acknowledge us?» to my friend. He then just picked up a cup and I looked at us and then as soon as I said the first thing on my drink, he walked over to the barista girl and was about to set it down as if I was done telling him how I wanted my drink. And on too of that, he was whispering something to her at the same time as me saying I wasn’t finished yet. Couldn’t help but think he was saying something rude. Then he walked away and made her finish ringing us up and finish our drinks. AND they turned their ONE oven off two hours before they closed. So I couldn’t get my favorite sandwich that you have to heat up. So Starbucks lost a sale. Because of that. They are especially not supposed to turn their one oven off two hours before they close… and when I asked, she said it was because they are supposed to turn the oven off an hour before the pre closers shift is over. Which would be the third girl that I saw in the back doing dished or something. I called my old Starbucks I worked at and figured out that this store is just too lazy and trying to close the store early or just get done with all of their closing duties early. Not okay. And my drink was NOT made right. The same drink I always get. Tasted gross.

Probably one of the slowest Starbucks I’ve been to, pretty consistently. You are now stepping into the Twilight Zone, where time stands still…

I love this location for a relaxing cup of coffee or to catch on some work away from the office. The Wi Fi works great easy to connect and good bandwidth. Very nice staff that always joke around with you or just give you a nice smile. Only one complaint here and its the air conditioning that runs cold all the time and I love the cold normally. The problem is the air runs hot for the employees behind the counter and always freezing. I have spoke to management and chain management still nothing done. I guess they don’t care about waisted energy or how the customer feels. I want to leave on a positive note because everyone here are so nice just bring a parka in the Winter and Summer.

So I know the point of Starbucks is that you don’t have to travel very far to get to one, but I say go to the other one in this area(the one across from the train station) even if you have to go a little out of your way. At that Starbucks, the employees are polite, respectful, and good at what they do. When I went to this one, there was a mess all over the floor, there were rampaging children about the store(which I guess is not all their fault, but ultimately the responsibility for who is in their store is theirs), and they managed to screw up my order of a simple iced green tea. They sweetened it despite my request for it to be unsweetened. This all took longer than it should have, too. With many Starbucks stores about, you can take your pick, so I say pick a different one than this!

The staff here are super friendly. A great place to relax, and not too busy. I had a problem with my food order, but still feel like giving a high star count based on the employees.

Hey Starbucks, I’ve written reviews for you before, but this is what it all comes down to: For a big corporation you’re a-okay in my book. You play fair, you don’t undercut local business, you just offer a great atmosphere, innovative coffee combinations, and friendly service. You have neighborhood initiatives, like to sell fair trade coffee, and I saw that you were participating in a «jobs for America» program too. So people can complain if they want to, but I’ll still be buying your white mochas and salted caramel hot chocolates. Just one thing: Those berry hibiscus refreshers? Yuk. They taste like tobacco… wtf!

It seems like they’ve had some changes in the staff and it has now returned to the comfortable environment it used to be. I’m a fan.

Generally speaking, I’m not a major fan of Starbucks, but this specific location in idyllic San Juan Capistrano merits a special mention. Just a few blocks away from the 5 freeway exit at Camino Capistrano, it’s been a favorite coffee break spot of mine for many years now, ever since I was a kid and used to stop by here with my parents to savor a cup of mocha and a maple scone(no longer available) on our way to Orange County beaches. To me, the coffee they make here tastes much better than it does at most other Starbucks; perhaps that is due to the sentimental value I attach to the place. Service is impeccable and they really take care to make sure you are completely satisfied with your drink.
