Good wonton soup and fried chicken wings. Fast service and the lady was honest and gave me back my money from the price difference when I changed my order.

My absolute favorite Chinese takeout! I don’t actually eat in the restaurant, because of the sketchy location, but the food is delicious. Best shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had. Their delivery is fast and the food is hot when delivered. Yum yum yum!

First time ordering from Rose Garden, I splurged as a treat for my team at work. Very happy with my order, very happy with the sweet gentleman who delivered it! This is quality, old-school American Chinese food. I will certainly order again, especially the egg rolls.

I freakin LOVE this place and their food. Who knew chinese restaurants deliver? Shoot, it’s a ritual that I order from this place 2−3x a month. They are super nice and if you spend a certain amount they throw in a free item. Everything is always hot and fresh. Don’t let the looks of the place fool you. It’s BOMB.

We love this place with my husband! If you are tired and don’t wanna cook go here. I love their potstickers! And any of the noodle dishes! It’s super cheap and fast!

Fantastic Chinese food with a super low price. Get dinner for two for ~$ 8 because the portion sizes are so big. I don’t particularly recommend dining in but they do takeout and you can call in your order and have it ready in 10 minutes. I’ve done this 200 times and they’re always ready in 10 minutes! Also the kitchen is super cool and they’re always frying more rice back there.

Great food but dirty restaurant!!! The food is really good but I will strongly recommend not to eat at the restaurant. I went to eat there with my husband and my 1 year old. The place itself looks very dirty. I use a wipe to clean the table. It was no surprise when the wipe got so black from all the dirt on the table. It was disgusting. I gotta give them credit their food is really good but they really need to do some deep cleaning to their restaurant. I generally have them delivered but this time I decided to go eat there and I was very disappointed to see how dirty it was. Do yourself a favor and if you want to eat there just order the food to go.

This would be 5 stars but I have to deduct 1 star for the rude lady who takes orders and is also the cashier. The food is by far my favorite. Generous hot tasty portions of my favorite Chinese food and they are free delivery if you live close. The younger guy is my favorite to interact with. He is friendly and always honors their free appetizer if you spend $ 25. The lady does not. In fact she has done this to me multiple times and now I am pissed off enough to write a review about it. I have watched her take phone orders and she rolls her eyes and speaks in a condescending manner. She is very impatient in-person, barely letting you finish your order before moving on to the next person or just walking away before you are done talking, and lacks the necessary skills to work in food/customer service business. I don’t want to reflect negatively on the food, because it is delicious. The lady has no business working in customer service. She would be better off washing dishes with no human contact.

I work down the street, literally two blocks away. We order here frequently for them to deliver and the delivery man(who is very sweet) never has a problem delivering to us for under $ 20 Today a VERYRUDE woman answered the phone. She made it clear I need to pay at least $ 20. I don’t mind following the rules but they bend them for us almost everyday because we work so close. I wouldn’t even be mad if she wasn’t so RUDE. She hung up on me when I was explaining and then didn’t pick up the phone when I called back. We won’t be ordering there anymore. Plus the last time I got my shrimp it wasn’t cooked. So ha!!!

When I’m feeling lazy and just want some take out this is my go to spot. They are the only restaurant where I love the honey walnut shrimp. They are very generous with the servings and they don’t over starch their items, not only that but when you bite into the chicken it’s actually chicken and not just deep fried pieces of it. I have never actually sat down to eat, but the food it great.

We wanted to see how consistent RG is given our first time experience was so positive. The second visit was equally rewarded. The portion sizes were huge relative to the average price of $ 7.50. The Singapore noodles were great again, lots of shrimp and bbq pork and egg. The shrimp egg fu Yung filled the platter and had to be an inch thick with lots of shrimp. The salt and pepper ribs were moist but I prefer the thin cut chop. The only downside is that there was only one chef so we got our orders spaced out rather than all at once.

Friends and I have gotten their family dinners as well as their lunch specials. Most of the time we order delivery because it’s over $ 25. Take out is just so comforting. The food is oily, fried and salty but that’s what makes it good. I don’t eat here when I’m looking for a good flavorful but healthy meal. When I order take out, I want something that’s satisfies my guilty pleasure and good for my wallet. It isn’t «real» Chinese food as some critics would say, but it’s better than Panda and has more options. They also advertise no MSG, but their salt levels are enough to make you bloat like crazy. It’s ok, no regrets — it’s all about your mentality going into the meal. The family meals offer so much food. Last time we ordered the Seafood dinner, and everything was fantastic. The shrimp and fish were so juicy and succulent and the soup(though a little thick) was yummy as well. Their fried rice is a little dry, but full or flavor and shrimp. I also remember their mongolian beef from a previous meal being a favorite of mine. I probably wouldn’t refer to a friend, but I would return or suggest if a friend and I want plain and simple take out Chinese. Ambiance: 2.5÷5(I’ve seen the inside, but I’ve always gotten take out or delivery) Food: 3⁄5(great price though) Service: 3.5÷5 Overall Experience: 4⁄5(I’ve never not enjoyed the food)

1) They have bad customer service 2) I paid with my debt and signed my receipt and took my copy and as I was getting in my car one of there employees runs out scramming at me that I took his receipt and that I was stilling from him so unprofessional 3) the bathroom is very dirty and it smells like pee and it also looked like they have not cleaned it in a long time 4) they’re cooking area is a mess

My boyfriend and I live across the street and whenever we have friends over Rose Garden is our go to takeout place. You can easily feed 8 people with 5 dishes(plus the free appetizer) and still have leftovers for several meals for two, all around $ 6 per person. You can call ahead and pick it up in around 20 minutes or have it delivered. Could also eat in but the place is not the happiest looking dining area. And the most important part, the food is delicious! Of all the dishes we’ve tried there only one has disappointed greatly while a handful stand out as must-trys. We’ve never had over or under seasoned food. Must try! BBQ pork wonton soup — Amazing, slightly sweet broth, wontons filled well Mongolian beef chow fun — just the right amount of heat Salt and pepper pork chops — delicious, crispy outside Eggplant beef — their eggplant has a lovely texture and sweetness, albeit a tad oily Hot and sour soup — nice tang, doesn’t skimp on ingredients Not mind blowing, but good: Potstickers — tasty filling, awesome sauce, but the wrap is a tad heavy Cashew chicken Sweet and sour pork Seafood veggie medley Veggie chow mein Avoid! :( Sesame chicken — when we had it it was drenched in a sauce that tasted just like McDonald’s sweet and sour sauce. Maybe that’s your thing, I won’t judge. It wasn’t ours.

ADDICTED to their«SALTEDFISH, CHICKENFRIEDRICE» & «HOMEMADEDUMPLINGS» Oh Hell almost everything i tried at he Rose Garden I liked. its hard to find decent Chinese food here in Hayward, but after finding this place i’m good to go now. What can i say, i love that stinky flavors of salted fish, and they blend it well with their chicken pieces, egg, lettuce, and fry their rice perfectly. Not too soft, just right! YUMMY! Now their dumplings I came across by accident, since i bought over $ 26 in tasty chinese food, they gave me a free order of their dumplings! WOW! other dished i love here is the Mongolian Beef! how the heck can you not go wrong with tender slices of beef, ginger, onions, and spiciness. The place has a dinning area, but they do deliver, so i do take advantage of this. What can i say good food, good prices, very friendly. Cantonese style cooking, rocks!

I am a huge fan of this place. One of my friends actually said that this place was the best chinese place in the Bay Area. Hard to believe, because I drove up to it, and it looked pretty run down. It is located across from Bay Fair mall. Hecka ghetto places. No way. Even when you walk in the place, it is not what I would have imagined to be a great chinese food place. So, my friend and I ordered soup and some food. My gosh… the Egg Flower Chicken Soup was AMAZING! Then, the food started to roll in. Tomato Beef… awesome. Dumplings homemade style was great. Fried won ton cream cheese with crab was the best I have ever had in my life. Already been back 3 times, and I will continue to come back. Rating: Food: 5 Price: 4.5 Service: 5 Overall: 5 Hands down, best chinese restaurants that I have had in years or even in my life.

From the outside you can’t tell but the food is good. It’s a true hole in the wall type of restaurant. The owners are very friendly and the service is good. We ordered a egg flower chicken soup that fed 4 people and a child, potstickers which were house made, mongolian beef, schzechuan chicken, mixed vegetables that consisted of egg plant, bean curd, bell peppers. We even hot a free appetizer, possibly because we ordered a lot or that one of my friends had come there before. If you’re in the area, give it a try.
