Sizzler

Wonderfully surprised. Like I remember Sizzler’s from when I was a kid! Tasty, fresh, clean salad bar and warm, friendly staff. Worth consideration for an easy, pleasant family night out. Clean décor.

Ok 4 stars for Sizzler. This one has awesome staff, well there is one guy that is really friendly and excited to help. It’s always good to see him, I bet he is responsible for their regulars continuing to come back.
I like coming when I have my kid or a few more kids with me. Everyone can pick what the want from the salad bar.
The parking lot is big. It’s pretty clean. Perfect for a mid week casual dinner when cooking just isn’t in the plans.

We went here for my wife’s birthday. Some of the comments here will sound weird unless you’ve been to a Sizzler before.
1. No more onion rings in the salad bar! Noooo!
2. We enjoyed the cheesebread, as usual.
3. The clam chowder was delicious.
4. The salad bar itself is pretty much a meal.
That said, we would probably only come back with a birthday discount or coupon, like this time. The price is very steep, with 11.99 for the salad bar. The other orders are not really worth the price either.

I remember the day I left my two nieces there. It was hilarious the big fat white lady was already noticing that they didn’t pay but me and my friend did after that moment I gave my nieces our plates and cups and told them don’t tell on us… it was the ultimate prank

Went here with my mom after work and had a great experience! The waiter was very friendly and nice and always checking in to see if we were fine. The staff in general was very happy and friendly which made the environment great!

Hadn’t been to Sizzler in years and needed to knock out my craving. Our server, «Freeway»?, was very friendly and attentive. He checked on us frequently to see if we were ok and needed anything. He also double and triple checked with us as we were leaving to ensure we had gathered all of our belongings. I had the steak and all you can eat shrimp meal. The steak was cooked properly and the meal was flavorful. The salad bar was good, but was disappointed when there was no chocolate mousse. That was the one thing from the old salad bar that I was craving. Good variety though and the salad bar was well kept and clean. I would return to this location.

I used a Loyalty Club coupon for Malibu chicken thinking I could get the salad bar for the surcharge but Noooooooo deal. They were going to charge me full price. No consideration for being a club member.
The cashier didn’t seem too happy that I didn’t get the full priced salad bar. … Duh!
As mentioned the Malibu chicken portion size was wanting but it was moist with a melted mild Swiss cheese on top.
The service was really good. And unlike the cashier… Friendly.

Awkward.
I’d been joking with my husband about where he wanted to celebrate his birthday and he kept saying Sizzlers. So being the good wife, I decided to bring him here with a handful of our friends. Little did I realize that it’s all counter service … which made paying for a group of people who were all arriving at different times rather difficult. It’s been years since I’ve been to Sizzlers so I wasn’t aware of this new set up …
In any case, I played waitress and took everyone’s order and then went to the counter and ordered the food. You get what you pay for. The all you can eat shrimp is about 70% batter and 30% shrimp, the rib eyes and steaks aren’t bad. I think they were just as confused by what I wanted as I was by their «order at the counter» service. I guess Sizzler has changed quite a bit over the years. It will likely be another decade or 2 before I go back.

I should mention that everything was very good. There was a TON of shrimp on my Steak and all you can eat shrimp combo. And the steak and lobster combo was so yum for only $ 20. Free refills on soda is always nice. The waitress was very patient and accommodating. And who doesn’t love cheese bread? For a chain restaurant I am thoroughly surprised everything was like a gourmet restaurant. Gg sizzler gg.

I have never been to a ‘Sizzler’ before. After going here I will never go again nor will I recommend a Sizzler restaurant. The food, décor, cleanliness, everything was terrible. I will never go to Sizzler ever again… I felt like I wanted to vomit after eating here.

It was nice and clean. The service was good. And the food and salad bar were up to my «Sizzler standards». Don’t go to Sizzler expecting a fancy steakhouse meal. It’s Sizzler.

My friend suggested I try their Malibu Chicken, but when it comes, ask for Texas Toast, and eat it as a sandwich, and it was great! This place has gotten better with fresh «signature salad» creations on the salad bar, I like the Kale/​Feta Cheese/​Cherry Tomato one. The remodel makes the place much more presentable so I meet work friends there now.

Definitely somewhere wouldn’t eat on a regular basis. Last time I had Sizzler was 8 years ago. I liked the salad options. Good pineapple for desert. The banana pudding was good as well. I made nachos. They were good. Taco shells were stale. Do not eat the butter for the rolls. If you like fake butter (margarine), then go right ahead. Not a fan of margarine. It’s Sizzler so 3 stars is expected. Its not Sweet Tomatoes or Soup Plantation. It’s no 5 star restaurant…

Ghetto. They said we couldn’t bring any left over home from all you can buffet, yet I see bunch of Asians putting food into their to-​go containers from the salad bar and they were seated customers eating from salad bar. WTF. This place is dirty, lack of customer service and always had to wait for them to fill the bar.

I’ve been to other sizzlers before and they were great. But this one takes it. Not only is this place isn’t busy there but it’s just horrible.
Let’s me start with the «salad bar» they are constantly out of everything there. Never to restock them. (Very disappointed cause I love pineapple and they never put out more) and it really didn’t taste like anything. Blahhh!
Now the entrée, it toke them awhile until I actually got my meal. They even had to look at my receipt two times to get my order. When I got it, I was disappointed in my shrimp, but also my steak. I just can’t! The food wasn’t even warm.
Let’s get to the service now,
It seemed like there was only one person on duty. His attitude was weird. Not professional. Seemed like he didn’t even wanna be there. Toke forever to even get one refill on my drink.
I know this is long but my experience here was unpleasant. My other sizzler experience were amazing! But this one toke the cake!

Sizzler is a place to go for an inexpensive meal. Menu items are pretty standard. Salad bar items are fresh. Salmon meal is very good.

Very disappointed.
It’s a buffet… You’d think the staff would replenish the displays right? No, they never did!
We checked in 3:38pm and we left at 4:50pm.
Food was never ever replenished! If we didn’t request for the chicken wings, it wouldn’t been put out.
The survival of this establishment is our friendly server. He’s the African American male server. … He is very very friendly and he takes care of the customer. This is the only reason why I’m giving this place a 2 star.

First off there was a long line out the door. We still waited knowing it was 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday. You would think they would have the menu so while people are in line they can figure out what they want once its their turn to order. But the only menu was on the wall behind the counter.8 The place was tiny and really jam packed together. Our booth seats were worn out with duck tape covering the seats. There was barely any room to even walk through the aisles. The salad bar was tiny and hard to walk around to even get something with so many people. I was regretting even adding the salad bar to my meal.
My boyfriend ordered a mega deluxe burger. And when he got it, it was a bacon cheeseburger. So he went to tell the manager that he got the wrong burger his was supposed to have two pattys. She said oh well thats $ 3.99 for an extra patty. She said they dont sell double burgers but the mega deluxe clearly is 2 pattys. So whatever., he ate the bacon cheeseburger anyway since we had waited a hour just to sit.
The servers clearly ha too many tables to their section that they couldn’t handle.
Basically this Sizzler was a bust. I will stick to the one on Junipero Serra in Daly City
