I have had yet ANOTHER poor experience at this particular store. I Love subway as a company but this particular store does not seem to have it’s staff together. Every time I come in there, it’s another new person in training and the staff rarely speaks and understands English properly enough to serve as a sandwich maker since they need to be able to follow basic directions. The staff is often time rude and gives dirty looks to you if you ask them to make a change to your sandwich, even if they are building the wrong sandwich. Today alone I asked for a simple turkey breast and black forest ham and 3 times she was putting the wrong kind of meat in the sandwich like teriyaki chicken and then proceeded to role her eyes at me with attitude and asked me to point to show her where the meat was behind the glass. She she know where everything is and what things look like. Another issue I have is that only a certain amount of the staff knows how to make the flat bread pizzas which would be understandable if it was complicated to make. But it is not at all hard to do. I do not know if the problem is lack of proper training due to such a high staff turn over or if they are just not good employees. Either way I’m not sure that I want to visit that store any more. I leave irritated and flustered over a simple and over priced sandwich I could have made at home with out error.

i love subway. but this location sucks. i usually see a homeless person hang out in here and it’s pretty small. i walk in subway and it smells amazing, but not this one — it smells like shit! My mom also came here one time and saw a bunch of rats running around! Never came back again!

I’ve been refraining from writing a negative review for a while now because I felt like I was biting the hand that literally feeds, but today and yesterday’s experiences made it impossible to ignore any further. This location is awful in a lot of ways. I work in the area and this Subway is good only because of its convenience, but that one perk becomes almost inconsequential when weighed against all of its cons. The language barrier between you and the staff has gotten really old; simple requests and questions result in blank stares and hushed whispers between the staff and it’s gotten to the point where anyone saying anything other than what meat and bread they want is too much for them to handle. The number of employees working at one time is inefficient and can’t accommodate the seemingly never ending rush here, and their ineptitude is made worse by three new workers they’ve picked up that drag their feet and hands like molasses and have no idea what they’re doing on the register. If there’s three people working, one is in the back doing whatever while the other two struggle to get through the line. The other issue here is the constant presence of the haggler and the transient that often hang out inside the restaurant and ask for change, and the managers do nothing to either ask them to leave or stop harassing patrons for money. Today I stopped in for lunch and was met with the usual frustrations: three people working, one in the back doing something unimportant instead of helping make sandwiches, and one of the new people on register asking every two seconds about how to ring something up. It got worse when the two men in front of me had to continuously repeat themselves to the woman making their sandwiches because she simply didn’t understand the basic things they were asking her. It all culminated into a waste of 20 minutes of my half an hour lunch, when the card system went down and they could only take cash(which seems to be happening more often lately), which I didn’t have on me. The two men in front of me were frustrated, especially the guy who was about to pay and also didn’t have cash, and the other guy whose sandwich was already partially made. I stormed out, got something less satisfying from CVS, and decided it was time to vent my frustrations. Awful customer service, and the only thing keeping me coming here is because I like Subway. A lot. Just not this Subway.

Service is adequate. You may not get a smile but the sandwiches are as expected of a $ 5 or less Subway sandwich. I come back for their consistency of product in spite of the lackluster service.

Why do I comeback… did any of these people show up to «how to make a sandwich» training day… cuz I know they showed up on «how to skimp on veggies and other fixins“training day. It pained me to give them 3 stars but seriously the workers here need to step it up a notch or two or three.

Subway coupons just made to my recycling bin, I believe this place is under new/diff management, because customer service is zero on a scale. I used to go to this location almost everyday, during my lunch until I start to notice changes like, diff employees each week and not greeting customers, in fact pretty rude, couple of x I felt like I was bothering subway employee by giving them my business, last time i wad there during my lunch time, a lady before me had to tell the server off because employee told lady to «make up her mind or get bavk in line» i just couldnt belive it. I i have been going to SAFEWAY, lil further down in the same shopping plaza, way better. May b a 1 $-2 $ more than subway but ill take that if I am treated like a human and customer with acknowledgement. It’s sad how this subway location has lost it’s reputation and customers. 2 stars for their honey oat bread. Fresh! Gooddoughtaste

Come here for lunch and the line is always out the door. They are pretty fast getting everyone’s order completed. I always order the $ 5 footlong.

This place is between the Payless Shoe Store and a GNC. I wanted a sandwich since I was out and about with my Mother but when I walked in, the line was literally almost to the door. I didn’t feel like waiting for the one person behind the counter to make 15 Sandwiches before they got to me, so I left. I’ve been here before and the staff are usually quiet and helpful but slow. I’d rather go into the Safeway and hit up their deli then come back to this location.

I don’t always rub elbows with hoi polloi. But when I do, I do it at Subway.

Hesitated to come here from the reviews but came anyway out of desperation. Ordered a normal turkey and cheese sandwich, and all was fine. She didn’t skimp on any ingredients. All good. But if I get diarrhea in an hour, I will be updating my post. If you don’t see an update from me, then that means it is safe to come here. ;)

This was the worst Subway that I have every been to. I told the lady behind the counter that I wanted a 6″ Steak & Cheese with everything. The lady put Chicken on my sandwuch and I had to tell her again that I wanted STEAK&CHEESEWITHEVERYTHING. When I got my sandwich I realized that she didnt even warm it. The STEAKWASCOLD…

The two girls that worked there were cute. The way they Interacted was really amusing made me want to eat there, but I’m trying to loose weight and they don’t sell light beer there.

Staff was really friendly here. Ingredients were more decent than other venues. Had plenty of seats, and pretty roomy. Only complaint here is that it’s dirty and old. I recall reading that they are overstaff, which relative to other Subways, they are. As long as they’re friendly and quick, I really don’t care. But they can use those extra folks to clean!

I have stopped here a few times, because I pass it on my way to and from the BART station. It has gotten worse each time. A few month ago I made a complaint through the Subway website and was later contacted by the owner. He told me that he had talked to his employees and given them some more training, so I shouldn’t have any more problems. A few days ago I decided to see if they really had gotten any better. Instead, everything was worse. I said that I wanted one of the new Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwiches that they were advertising. They had no idea what I was talking about, even when I pointed to the picture of it on their window. The guy put the teryaki chicken strips on my sandwich. When I pointed out that he had used the wrong kind, he scraped it off and put it back to be used on someone else’s sandwich — ewww. They forgot to put the ham on the sandwich and when I pointed it out they put it on. Then when I went to pay, I was told that I had to pay extra for the ham. Even though it is part of the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich??? Sheesh. They were also really skimpy on the vegetables and gave me Ranch on my sandwich instead of the honey mustard it is supposed to come with. I gave them one last chance to redeem themselves and they blew it. Never again.

busy, they actually count almost out loud every ingredient they put on your sandwich, they’re understaffed, and it feels like an oven inside. but for 5 dollar footlongs you cant go wrong.
