Love this place when we eat there and when we order at home. Everyone is always super friendly and the foods always so yummy! Our favorite is Hawaiian with bacon and whenever I ask for ranch they always give us plenty! When we get delivery they’re always nice on the phone and the delivery drivers are always super friendly. I have zero bad things to say! I also love their cheese raviolis with Alfredo sauce and I steal some from the kids when they order them. Thank you! Keep up the great work it’s not going unnoticed

Best pizza in the Bay Area by far. Nothing seems to compare when I’m trying pizzas out of town. The 3rd Avenue location in particular offers amazing service, every time. The pizza crust is thin, chewy, and delicious – if you’re a garlic-lover add the fresh garlic and you won’t be disappointed!

This is my second time at Amici’s(but first review). First time I had a great experience with delicious salad, pizza and breadsticks. I would have almost considered this place to be one of my favorite oven baked pizza in SF. However, had a different experience this time. Let’s state the good first. Clean, good service and nice atmosphere for a date. Salad(Classic Cesar) was good but somewhat small for family size. Pizza. We ordered the combo with roasted garlic but what we got was regular combo and garlic noted on the bill. When asked about it, they offered a greater discount — that was nice of them to keep the customer happy. Pizza itself was decent with good oven baked crust but it wasn’t as good as expected and expensive($ 31 for 15″ large pizza). The toppings and cheese were subpar. I may try it again another time but this time it was just okay.

It’s pizza. It’s not Blue Line Pizza(which is my favorite, sit-down, not-a-chainy Pizza joint), and it’s not RoundTable(my favorite for take-out cheap pizza). The pasta isn’t good here, but it’s good in Redwood Shores at that location. The pizza is OK. Nothing memorable, but it’s edible. That’s the extent of this review. LOL.

I ordered the Sicilian mini with the lemon chicken wings. DELICIOUS!!! The flavor is phenomenal. Delivery was within the time period and the man who brought me my dinner was polite and friendly. Visit this restaurant, you will be happy and full! Portions are perfect for what I ordered just for me.

My go to for classic but cost efficient Italian in San Mateo. Best delivery service through eat24 out of all the pizza/Italian portions hands a down. They’re attentive to the noted requests and deliver with great quality.

This place is a hit or miss sort of thing. I got a burnt pizza a second time. I will be looking elsewhere.

Amici’s pizza sucks. I give it another try every couple of years, and every time I do I’m shocked that people like it so much. Their claim of «Best pizza west of New York» couldn’t be further from the truth, especially considering that New Jersey is just west of New York. New Jersey happens to have some of the best pizza in the world in my opinion. Amici’s crust is thin, dry, tasteless, and by design is burnt on the bottom. The sauce is mealy and lacks flavor. The cheese is scant and also lacking flavor. I mean really… What the hell do people like about Amici’s pizza? You want great, east coast style pizza? Go to Seniore’s on El Camino in San Mateo. It is literally as good as pizza can get! The crust is substantial: golden brown on the outside, fluffy and steamy on the inside. The sauce is zesty, tomatoey and irresistible(I recommend always asking for extra sauce!). The mozzarella is generous and absolutely delicious. Seniore’s is exactly what great, traditional, delicious, satisfying pizza should be! Oh, an additional plus: Seniore’s is about half the price of Amici’s.

I recommend the ravoli with pesto sauce and lasagna with meat sauce as well as the following salads: kale, spinach and caesar. Service was excellent. I thought the delivery of the minestrone soup could have been further enhanced. Overall, I really enjoyed eating there and parking was really easy – therefore I give this restaurant my thumbs up.

Um… Run there now. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño(warning: HOT!!!) & red onions which was great and the trentino pizza(NOM!!!). We also ordered an antipasto salad with Cesar dressing. My goodness… I would take a bath in the salad, get dirty in the pizza, the then take another bath in a that salad… So delicious. I couldn’t get enough. 2 large pizzas & a family size salad fed 6 hungry people.

Was in the Burlingame this weekend on business and had been in meetings all day. Didn’t get to the hotel till 10 p.m. Called AMICI’S, went down to the lounge for a cocktail and before I knew it my Lemon Pepper Wings and Red Clam Manhattan was delivered before I finished my cocktail… When in the Bay Area do ya self a favor call or go to AMICI’S EASTCOASTPIZZERIA ya digg.

My favorite pizza on the peninsula. Try the Boston or the Amici Combo or even the Calabria! Amazing salads too — try the Artichoke Panzanella Salad. Great meatballs, great pasta. Go, enjoy!

Oh no big deal. We ordered delivery yesterday, roughly 20 dollars for 6 slices of pizza and another 15 for clam pesto linguine.:(delivery was prompt and polite. But the price is pretty outrageous. Oh. And both the boyfriend and I got food poisoning. Im currently in fetal position typing up this review to keep myself from throwing up. Boyfriend has been in and out of the bathroom 4 – 5 times already.

First time dining in– came here for lunch and it was dead, which was great for us because we were seated and ordered within 5 minutes of walking in. I have always been a fan of Amici’s since my days of living in SF and going to the original one on Union St. Anyway, ordered the Caesar salad and a margarita pizza. The salad had a bit too much dressing but it wasn’t too bad. The pizza was perfect as always.

First things first, this place is a LOT more bourgeois than the pictures show(this is not a bad thing). In fact, I was meeting with some friends for a late lunch on Saturday and thought I was in the wrong place. Upon entering, you’ll immediately notice the brick oven in the back of the room as well as two different dining areas(one closer to the street with natural light, and another normal dining area). At this point, we were greeted by one of the hosts. It’s kind of embarrassing but we had no idea how many people we were expecting and we didn’t make any prior reservations. No problem, the host says that we could wait as long as we want and even brought out waters out to us. After 5 minutes, another person shows up to our group and the host even brings out some bread for us. I mean, how nice is that, we haven’t even thought ordering yet and he already treats us as customers. Eventually, we all get here and we order the Amici’s combo pizza(medium). At first, I was worried that it wouldn’t feed all 4 of us, but we soon realized it was the perfect amount. When our pizza was brought to our table, the host even asked if we wanted ranch? Hell yes, you can put it on the side in case other people don’t want any(I ended up being the only person to use it). Overall, great experience: the host was super attentive and went above and beyond with our service, the pizza was great and wasn’t very greasy at all, and lastly, the ambiance definitely does not get the credit it deserves. Not sure how many people bring their dates to Pizza, but this would be one of those nice ones.

Always a favorite for my family. I happen to ran in a lot of people who I went to high school with who work here(grew up in San Mateo). Staff are polite and friendly. Parking is tough in downtown in general, especially on a nice day and during the weekend. We ordered pizza and individual pasta. Our drinks kept getting refilled and we received everything on fresh and hot. Our waitress slightly dropped the ball towards the end and service got a bit slower. We had to call her to get boxes and the check. Overall, this place is always a hit for authentic Italian food. Their thin crust pizza is always on point. Pasta sauces are thick and stick to the noodles. Very flavorful.
