Round Table Pizza

I placed an order online, arrived at the designated time to pick it up and was told they did not have the order and I must be at the wrong Roundtable. I went back to my car, grabbed my smartphone and returned to show a different person the order. He then looked around for the pizza and was able to find the printout (still on printer) and began ringing me up. Only after I asked did he confess they had not started the preparation yet. I walked out and got a great pizza at Mr. Pizza in downtown San Mateo. We have had very good pizza here in the past, but will not in the future.

The delivery takes a long long time. I ordered it at 7.20 pm, and they said the order was ready at 8.07 pm. And I didn’t get my order until 9:30 pm. And my location is only 5 mins driving from their store. What’s the problem. I called them and they said it will be arrived shortly. Man I had been waiting for at least 40 mins.

Solid Round Table delivered pizza. Placed order by phone. Staff politely answered my questions and helped select a special pizza and appropriate amount of food. Pizza was delivered faster than quoted which everyone appreciates. Delivery driver was upbeat and polite. Pizza crust was a little soft. To be expected with heavy topics and delivery. Will order for the office again. Thanks Round Table.

Ordered a pizza online. Est delivery time was 6:00pm. It’s an hour later then the est time so I call the place up to see what the deal is. The person I spoke with says he doesn’t recommend ordering online bc sometimes it gets lost. He puts me on hold, finds my order and says «yeah we got your order but missed it» I can have if there in 45 mins… then I asked if I would get an inconvenience discount and the guy said NO! Horrible customer service, highly recommend ordering from somewhere else if you expect to receive your order!

I’ve been here about 5 times.
TIP: If you like ranch and/​or marinara, order it when you order the pizza. They charge for them (and I think that’s okay).
The pizza here is phenomenal. The specials are pretty good. The service is hit and miss. The space kind of sucks.
I love the pizza that comes from this place. My boyfriend loves the pizza that comes from this place. I think it’s the crust and the ratios of crust to sauce to cheese to toppings is perfect. It’s best when it’s just out of the oven, as pizza often is.
The specials can provide a pretty good discount, you just have to ask what they are.
The service overall seems to be pretty slow, and it’s chaotic. I order a beer, but the bar doesn’t get my order. They people are generally nice, but I wish it was more efficient. And those nights with the good specials, it will take about 30 min to get your order.
I wish they would refurnish the place, and not store pizza boxes in the back. It’s also loud and I prefer not to use their bathroom. It feels sketchy in the I-​hope-​no-​one-​walks-​in-​on-​me and –don’t-drop-anything-on-the-floor kind of way.
But it’s seriously good pizza. Sorry if you disagree, but we like it.

These guys charge for delivery smool pizza pepperoni 6 pieces of Wings i pay $ 30 so expensive

Can they fire the phone guy already? Seriously the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with. Please do your business a service and put some one else on the phones that doesn’t piss off so many of your customers.

Manager doesn’t speak any Spanish and the entire staff barely speaks English. So make sure you can communicate with the kitchen staff because she sure can’t.
She also tried to make my partner feel bad about the money she had to discount and the new food she had to remake. This is your job my dear, this is how you fix your mistakes in a restaurant, and THAT is a completely unprofessional way of handling this situation.

We order a chicken and garlic gourmet — got a veggie in its place. We called back ti correct the order and someone picked up and mentioned it was our fault and «hung up». Such is the customer service???
Super rude guy who picked up the phone! Never again do i recommend these guys to anyone for the most PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE ever.
The guy had the audacity to tell me to check the order before i left to take it back. So you guys who wanna go there and pick up a pizza — better check your order as this super rude guy will blame it back on you.

We got deliever pizza and wings, soft drink.
Pizza was burn on toppings and dow is very crispy because that was burn too. It so horrable. Also we ordered 12pcs wings but box has only 11pcs.
We throw every our meal… We can’t eat.
only mt. Dew was normal.
I loved this place but previous 3times experience say me good bye.

We went here for late lunch after our shopping at Smart & Final.
The location is good, though a blind spot hidden if you’re coming from the smart and final.
The glass ads was a catch and instead of order pizza, we tried their 12 slices of tomato and pesto flat bread and salad bar .
The Cashier (owner or manager too maybe?) who I think is an Iranian or Arabic was super accommodating and very approachable. Super nice and thumbs up to a wonderful customer service.
The Flat bread came and it was sooooo presentable, taste was awesome and we even complimented the cashier/​owner/​manager on how the chef/​cook prepared the tomato pesto flat bread.
Ambience was cool, quiet considering the crowd watching Warriors game.
over all, it was an excellent stay and we look forward to coming back to try their other flat bread flavors. This is so far our favorite Round Table Spot…

Came here for the Wednesday special. Can’t beat half off pizza (L or XL), especially Round Table! I love their sauce, so I asked for extra sauce on the pizzas. The lady who I believe is the manager/​owner was really nice added that at no extra charge. The total after 2 XL (King Arthur’s Supreme & Gourmet Veggie) + 4 sodas was about $ 40. Steal!
She also checked up on us while we were eating and after we finished. The pizza was perfectly made and we devoured most of it and had more than enough left over still. Great dinner experience. Definitely coming back for more! =)

I like this place and just the over all company is nice:). The lunch buffet is perfect for a cheap fill up. Everything is clean and the pizza is amazing ! I really like how they treat you as well very respectful. It feels like a family restraunt very rooming and home welcoming place.

When I called to place my order, I was connected to the local Round Table «call center». I placed my order & went to pick up my food…
When I got to this location, they told me they didn’t have an order for me. I called the call center back to figure out what was going on. They insisted they put my order in & said they would call the store. The store I was standing inside of… The call center ended up hanging up on me after they talked to the store, I never heard from them what happened.
I was pretty frustrated at this point… However, the people in the store were extremely apologetic. They let me say my piece & it’s always nice to be heard. Then they continued to apologize for a mistake that wasn’t even theirs. The call center obviously fucked up– which is why they hung up on me & left the poor people on the store to deal. They were so nice about it and they only charged us for half the order.
Also, the inside of the store looks really nice compared to some of the other locations. It was extremely clean & obviously well taken care of. All the staff looked clean as well, like they take care of themselves (not always the case at a pizza place).
Best of all, its a block from my work! I will be back :)

I went to this location with my honey last night, around 8 pm. I ordered the XL pepperoni pizza and one salad bar, honestly the pizza is just good. Not great or anything beyond good. The service was honestly awful. The tall blonde woman at the register was incredibly rude my boyfriend and I were caught off guard. In my head I was so confused, like «what the hell did I do to u «. Like I’m sorry for asking you to repeat something to me, jeez. What a jerk. The manager or owner or whatever he was seemed very friendly. It was honestly too much he could turn it down a tad, but his positive attitude I guess might be making up for his cashiers bad one. Oh and also I was there for about 10 minutes before they turn the lights off on the salad bar which FYI they told me they didn’t close until 10 o’clock and I was there at 8. Unbelievable. I do not recommend this location.

Ordered a pizza from here for pickup.
The employee who answered was incredibly short on the phone and extremely rude. I asked for price clarity and he acted like it was the end of the world. Uhhh it’s my money. I should be able to double check the price. Someone else was coming in to get it. I wanted to pay over the phone. The employee told me «we can’t take payments over the phone. you can just pay when you come in in 20 minutes.» I explained the situation. I was told «no we don’t take payments over the phone. can’t help you.» So i asked how they take the payments over the phone for deliveries. I was answered with «look we don’t do payments over the phone for pickup. do you want the pizza or not?»
I suppose my 1 minute phone call was really holding up his entire night.
Apparently customer service is a thing of the past. After multiple incidents with rude employees… I’ll take my money to another Round Table location!

DO NOT TRUST COUPOPNS FOR THIS ROUND TABLE!
I received a coupon for this Round Table Location that explicitly said, «50% Off ANY PIZZA Wednesdays Only.» Only to be told by the blonde bimbo that it was only good for Large or X Large pizzas, according to her manager. They would not change the order or offer.
That bait and switch is highly illegal. The coupon explicitly said «50% off ANY PIZZA.» They purposefully violates truth in advertising codes with no recourse. If you want to get a deal, this is NOT the place. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Only 8 tables in the place… all in a straight line from the door to the back of the narrow room. They couldn’t keep enough pizzas on the buffet table for the nine of us in the room waiting for the buffet. As soon as a pizza hit the buffet line, every piece was gobbled up. if we weren’t one of the first few to jump out of our seat when a pizza hit, we had to wait 15 minutes and hope we could beat a few to the line.
Not a very family friendly experience.

I almost wrote this review for the wrong location, there are two Round Table Pizzas on Norfolk, this location is at Shoreview Shopping Center.
This location is family owned by a local family from San Mateo. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. I need advice on what pizzas to order for a large party and they spent time helping me put together a selection of pizzas for my party. There were extremely patient and didn’t rush me.
I also like to come here for their lunch buffet, it is a really good deal, pizza, salad and those yummy Parmesan twists!
Prices are worth it, there pizza is delicious! Parking is easy! Staff are great!!!
