This place is amazing! Great, unique finds, lots of newer styles in a wide range of sizes, including smaller sizes, and super friendly staff. They are open on Sundays! They have a nice selection of purses, including Coach, & interesting, wearable belts, tops, skirts, dresses, etc. Definitely worth a look, & it will stay on my list of places to regularly check out for new inventory. It seems like there’s a good turnaround of items. Highly recommend.

I had never used a consignment store before I moved to Santa Fe. I visited many to see where the selection and sizes matched me. Every store has its own slant and different agreements. I sampled a view and found The Beat Goes On to be the best. Great selection, good pricing and prompt payment. They also had the most fair terms for the seller. Sometimes I took a check and other times I found a goodie on the rack. Something new there every day!

This small consignment store was just not that great in terms of stock and prices. A lot of the merchandise was pretty«mature» style(ie. lots of chico’s), and sure they had some leather cowboy boots that looked good, but to me that’s standard for any vintage/consignment shop in the southwest. I am a huge fan of vintage LL bean, but the prices for these items were quite high; $ 48 for a 90’s LL bean jacket? Sorry, but that’s Pretty steep for the medium caliber of the LL bean brand. On the whole this place had a small selection, higher prices, and mediocre stock.

When you search Unilocal for«vintage clothing», this shop comes up, and they have no vintage clothing. Used, yes. Vintage, no. Seems like a nice little shop if you’re looking for newer items of the Chico’s, Coldwater Creek variety. Prices seemed Ok, not thrift-store prices, but certainly much lower than retail.

What a lucky lucky girl I am– size 5 foot equals incredible cowboy boots bought on sale! Make sure you check out the clearance section in the dressing room– I’ve purchased 3 pairs of cowboy boots, all under $ 30, from that section! This is an easy place to shop because the staff stays out your business– they know you know how to shop. There is always some color of price tag that is on discount and there is no shortage of fantastic clothing to choose from, not matter what my budget is. They carry excellent condition brand name labeled used clothing, so you’ll find something you can use.

My friend and I wanted to check out some of Santa Fe’s second-hand stores today. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that most of these places would be closed on Sunday… but not this one! The woman working here was very friendly and there was a pretty good selection. I think most vintage shoppers could go to The Beat Goes On and find their own hidden gem. It also didn’t have that pretentious, stuffy vibe that I’ve found in other boutiquey consignment stores. There was even a sale going on, so I was able to get a great Levi’s jean jacket for just $ 5! Some things were out of my price range, but nothing seemed to be priced unreasonably. I’ll definitely be back!
