This is the shop where you may discover what a massive ham bone will do to your split pea soup. Need split peas? There is a well stocked Mercada in the strip mall several stalls down. And they also sell great bean soup soups that, when paired with the sugar cured spiral cut ham is so perfect on a week night dinner. Always a cut above these folks are.

Ham is amazing. We just bought a 1 ½ lb. slice of ham to try for dinner, but devoured it in the car before we even left. The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful in explaining their inventory. This is not a traditional restaurant. They make sandwiches, soups, and other things. They are meant to-go or to eat on picnic tables outdoor in nicer weather. The facility and the people were very clean. We will definitely return for a ½ spiral ham when we have family to our home.

I was craving some honey ham. They sliced the round for me, full of the baked honey. So delicious! Cute little shop with wonderful deli selections and an array of condiments for purchase. Just love this place!

Came by today for the first time and knew right away that this was my sort of sandwich shop! A number of different sandwich options including a few custom creations. Tried three and they were all great… especially the Club. Their ham is awesome and I bought a pound to bring home. Great deviled eggs, good selection of locally made desserts and friendly service! I’m a big fan of good mustard and this place has the best array of mustard choices to add to your sandwich or purchase. Perfect place to grab sandwiches to eat at the skating rink /Peanuts museum right across the street. You don’t see too many places like this anymore so definitely go support this local small business.

Picked up one of the best hams I’ve ever had in my life here last Christmas. Be warned though: for special occasions there will be lines out the door! Reserve one ahead of time and plan accordingly – even with a reserved ham you will have a wait ahead of you if you pick it up around the holidays.

I would have given 5 stars but… They’re overpriced!!! I got a soup there. Very delicious split pea. THEYCHARGED $ 7 for a 16oz soup. Mind you this is not a place where they serve it to you, has a sit down area(inside), there is no restroom, and you can get it hot or cold. Of course if you want their hot fresh daily made soup they have to re-heat it in the microwave for you. Come on $ 7 for a soup that’s been microwaved. I MAY understand if it was actually hot and made that day… If I wanted what I got, I could have gone anywhere else, like safeway, and get the same size reheated for $ 4.00…

I’ve been hearing about this place for so many years and have never gotten the chance to try it out until recently. It totally stands up to its reputation. So good and fresh tasting. The staff is also very nice. Will definitely be going back to this spot!!!

The sandwiches are like what you would make at home IF you had awesome honey-glazed ham to put on the bread. They have all types of sandwiches and sides. Everything is homemade. They have yummy treats including handmade caramels. Kind of pricey though; ham on rye with swiss, & a rice krispy treat and my bill came to $ 9.70!
