Known as «Savannah’s oldest barbershop» and «the longest operating business on Martin Luther King Jr. BLVD,» is a Savannah institution. Many of Savannah’s barbers were taught by Mr. Beavers. It was known that if you wanted to know about what was going on in Savannah, stop by Beavers Barbershop to find out. Oh, and get a haircut while you’re there «chewing the fat.» You didn’t need the internet as long there was an available seat or barber chair.
A lot of barbershops in Savannah have gimmicks. This place is just a good old fashioned barbershop.
