Served by the gorgeous Katie who couldn’t be more helpful! I picked her brains about places to go and she gladly recommended a handful that I’ll be trying out tonight. Thank you Katie! Oh! And the coffee and Key Lime Coolers were fabulous! x

Friendly workers and delicious products! I highly recommend the Zen sandwich, which is 2 cookies with Nutella and Fluff.

One of my favorite new additions to downtown Savannah. Byrd is a growing brand with several stores for their fabulous cookies, a restaurant of Waters Ave, and now this little charming café. Come here for their specialty drinks, a limited yet delicious menu, and most importantly THECOOKIESAMMICHES! Byrd cookies are famous in Savannah for a reason. And as such, they offer huge desert cookies made from their traditional Scotch Oatmeal. The deserts offer anything from Nutella and marshmallow fluff, to fancy PB and J, Bacon and peanut butter… they are all to die for. The hot dog is delish, the deviled eggs are divine, and the drinks will knock your socks off. Head on in.

BT’s totally impressed me. For being this diminutive café, with a little pizza oven, they are turning out fresh food. Order up an egg sandwich and you will hear the same counter person cooking it up on the tiny stove. You will even hear the sizzle. The quiche is premade, yes, but it is heated through beautifully. I have been to other spots where the outside is hot, but the inside cold. The Elvis cookie sandwich too. Mmm. The cookies are warm, and the PB and bananas melt together with the pieces of bacon. Num, num, num. I am all for breakfast and dessert joining forces. And, if you are still hungry, but have to hit the road, there are Byrd’s tiny biscuits. I picked up souvenirs for family and friends all in one foul swoop. Love it!

Went here to kill some time waiting to do a ghost tour and was pleasantly surprised. Guy working named Coleman was super friendly and kept us entertained for the time we were there. Had this cooking sandwich called King Kong. Oatmea cookie with peanut butter, bananas and bacon. Enough said. Killer coffee. And beer. We will return the next time we’re in Savannah
