I preface my comments by saying we visited on Cinco de Mayo and they were very busy. — We asked for Margaritas on the rocks with salt. We received super sweet Margaritas in plastic cups with NO salt on the rim. — The floor was very dirty. — The tacos were average.

Ate here this evening due to it being close to my hotel. Only ate a small portion of my food, asked for to-go boxes and a cup for my soda. Used the restroom while the server printed up my check. Came back to an empty table. The server forgot to tell the bus person not to throw away my food. Only offered me a guacamole. They should have offered to remake my food and sent me on my way. The server did not even attempt to get a manager to fix the issue. Will not be back. Typical dime a dozen queso drenched excuse for Mexican food.

This place is on point. If something was broken, they must have fixed it. I got the combo with everything and it was all great. And they have Pacifico… my favorite Mexican Cerveza. I’ll be coming back for sure.

AI am not a true fan of Mexican food, but i only come here for one thing; The shrimp/chicken quesadilla. For around 8bucks and some change, you can devour 2 perfectly pan seared tortilla wraps STUFFED with: chicken, green and red bell peppers, onions and of course, CHEESE! You also get a side of chips and salsa. Atmosphere is that of typical Mexican restaurant. Staff is friendly and, the establishment is located conveniently located 10min away from my house. Lol

I tried this place about a year ago. The food was not that great and the wait staff was slow. I came back to see if anything changed. All I can say is that it did a lot. The wait staff was the terrible. My food was not what I ordered. When I talked to the owner I was told that his cook cooked it and I would have to pay for it Again it was not what I ordered and I did not even eat it. I was told to pay or the police will be called. So I paid and never again will I come back.

Food was prepared as ordered and at the right temperature, portions were just right, I am full but not stuffed. If anyone is visiting Savannah or just passing through and you are looking for great Mexican food, look no further! Price was great, ordered a combo(one burrito and one enchilada with drink and tax $ 10.70 before tip…

Made my first and LAST visit to this place today. The staff was very friendly and the place appeared to be clean. However, my food was absolutely un-edible. I ordered some cheese dip with my chips and salsa and it came to my table cold. No thanks. For my meal, I ordered the taco salad with ground beef. This is when it gets very bad. The waitress brought it to me and it looked good but when I pushed the lettuce to the side with my fork about the take my first bite, I noticed that there was a good 1 inch of grease and liquid fat pooled on the bottom of the taco salad bowl. It was obvious that the cook did not drain the ground beef before putting it into the taco salad bowl. Yuck!!! I was not about eat meat soaked in liquid fatty grease. I mean it was literally like grease soup. I didn’t even take the first bite. Fortunately the chips and salsa were good so I finished those off and left the taco salad sitting on the table. I paid my ticket and left. Scratch this restaurant off the list and never return again…

After a long day of traveling I stopped in and got take out to bring back to hotel room. Everything was very good. Shrimp quesadilla, beef tacos, and nachos. Quick and friendly service. Seemed like a fun comfortable restaurant to eat in as well. Full bar service also.

This place was great. Food was delicious and plentiful. Friendly and very prompt service. Never had my drink come close to empty and the chips and salsa were brought right as i sat down. I had a burrito with steak mushrooms onions rice and a few other ingredients. It was just what I wanted.

Awesome service the waiter almost beat me to the table with salsa and chips. He explained the daily specials and price. I had my food with in a few minutes, it was outstanding. I travel about 340 days a year and found this place very clean and reasonable. If in the area again it’s a definite stop.

Hot taco salad was a first. I can not say I was happy with the wilted lettuce and an over abundance of onions. My father had a burro(bigger sized burrito), he loves the place too! Kids said the fries had no flavor, but enjoyed the Rico Tamarindo. Meh! Probably would not come again when visiting the area.

Some of these reviews must be for another restaurant. We stopped in driving on stressful 95 north. We were seated promptly. Salsa was good. Got a super frosty 32 oz Dos Equis. Delicious. Another table had a margarita dispenser at their table. Never seen that. Unfortunately had to continue driving for a bit. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Actually better than I expected. Enchiladas were stuffed with meat. Rice was not dry and refried beans were decent. Would definitely stop in again. Price was very economical.

The only thing that had flavor was my soft drink. We came in around 5:30pm, and were the second of two tables seated. It’s customary to get salsa and chips at the beginning of your meal in most Mexican restaurants. The chips were warm, and the salsa had a nice kick. We ordered a small bowl of queso. Unfortunately, it was similar to what you could buy in the store. I ordered a chille relleno and chicken nachos with shredded chicken. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla. The food came out rather quickly, and we both realized that this restaurant likes to use raw onions as a main ingredient in both dishes. Our«shredded» chicken must have been shredded by someone with no opposable thumbs. They were all chunks! I’ve seen smaller pieces of chicken attached on hot wings. There was about a tablespoon of queso on the nachos and a ton of onions; no cheese, and yet more raw onions in the quesadilla. No sour cream or guacamole, or lettuce as garnish. Both dishes were slightly above room temperature. The nachos were just nasty. I asked our«stealth» waiter who was handling the only other table to replace my plate with two tacos. The tacos fared just as poorly. The beef tasted like it was boiled. What started out as a promising dinner turned into a gastrointestinal disaster. Avoid this place unless you like to vomit. Our stomachs were churning on the way home, and we were fighting like hockey players to get through the front door to head to the bathroom. Anyone seen the scene from the bridal shop in «Bridesmaids»? There you go.

The food was ok but the service was really lacking. Second time here no change in the service and they weren’t even busy this time.

Don’t know what the last review had, but not the same place I went. Food was delicious. The chiles relleno was superb. The service was good(not great). Overall for the price a very good restaurant, unless you don’t tip because you get upset over another patron…(the little kid bouncing around the Booth behind me didn’t effect the review of the restaurant)

The customer service was great! We were seated promptly and the servers were friendly and accomodating. The salsa was great and had a nice kick to it. The food is typical. Not anything to make you want to smack your momma, but the total experience is enjoyable. I would come again if in the area.

The salsa tasted like chemicals, the guacamole salad had no guacamole in it, the service wasn’t there, and the tap water(which went without refill) was the most flavorful thing I consumed during the meal. To top it off, terrible lighting and barely any décor covering up the drywall. Oh, and I can’t forget the lady sitting next to us that sounded like she was coughing up a dead mouse, but only coughed while I was eating. Incredible. The first time in my life I left no tip.
