When we come to Savannah we always wind up here. If you want great seafood priced reasonably this is definitely the place for you. Everything was on point and delicious the only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because I have been to five star restaurants and a lot more goes into that fifth star than just the food. Fiddlers is definitely a place I would recommend for anyone wanting good seafood and btw we didn’t have the hush puppies but I hear they are good.

Great service. Very clean & air conditioned. We had oyster po boy — delicious with plenty of huge oysters. BBQ chicken club also delicious. Fire fish taco very good but not very hot. Fiddler burger also good & they cook them to your temp of choice. We also enjoyed crab dip and the crab bites yummy!!! Great place to eat on river street. Mike was our server and he was friendly and very attentive. So glad we stopped here!

I finally found a place in Savannah for all you can eat crab legs! Fiddlers is a great little place right on the river that serves all you can eat crab legs on Monday nights. While the price is a little steep($ 34.99 per person for all you can eat crab legs), the service and food was well worth it. Our server was prompt and attentive, and she kept the crab legs coming throughout the whole dinner! We never had to wait, and they came out hot and delicious every time. I am still stuffed writing this review the next day. I would recommend sitting upstairs. The downstairs is a little cramped and has more of a dirty Savannah bar feel, while the upstairs is spacious and has the nice view. We will definitely be back again!

Great fresh seafood! My husband and I really loved our crawfish and shrimp that we ordered here. The Savannah rice was tasty as well. Our waiter was excellent and was very helpful with suggestions on where to visit around town! This was the best restaurant we visited on RiverStreet during our visit!

Clean restaurant on the riverfront. Excellent fast friendly service with Laurie. She knew the menu! Kudos to the kitchen. The meals were coming out fast at lunchtime! Lots of fresh LOCAL food(tuna, shrimp, clams, muscles, crab, white fish, etc). You can buy a meal or by the pound. Fried food offerings, but more steamed food offerings… Also salads, soups, etc. We sat outside and loved the ambiance. The tuna was unbelievable… Thick, large and tasty!(Sorry, no pic.) The steamed bay shrimp was delicious. Even the crab cake appetizer, corn on the cob and coleslaw were delicious! If you don’t like Old Bay Seasoning, you’ll want to go elsewhere… as this is the main seasoning used here.

Awesome oysters, bunch of different varieties — I ordered a dozen raw Apalachicola oysters — very fresh, huge and delicious. Great bartender Leigh, recommended different craft brews & offered tastes of them. Great place.

Went for lunch. Fried oysters were very good according to hubby who grew up in fish industry. My small hamburger was large with very good sweet onions. Service and food a little slow but we’re on vacation.

Walking distance from our hotel. This place is fantastic. We didn’t get to have the table we wanted(to see the view outside) because it was too crowded but our server, Patrick, did pretty good as far as accommodating us. A good variety of food and usual juice drinks on the kids menu. This is always the first thing that we look for before ordering our own food. My two year old had spaghetti with marinara sauce it was actually a lot and I got to have some and was so tempted to order one for myself. Yes, it was actually that good. Anyway, I had ordered garlic shrimp while my husband ordered 1lb snow crab with two orders of corn on a cob. Enjoyed our dinner so much that we didn’t even realize the time. Awesome food and great service. Definitely gonna check out this place again next time we go on vacation.

A lot of food for a decent price! You have to try the Oyster Rockefeller as an app. And the seafood steamed dinner!

Great food and great service! Perfect for a night out by the river. Sit on the deck! One of the best shrimp and grits dinners in the city.

The service was also great, and we got our food relatively quick considering we were at a seafood restaurant. The steamed seafood platter was so good — we were able to split a serving for two between three people. We paid $ 50 including tax and split that between the three of us for about $ 18 – 20 each. For the size of the platter, I’d say the price was worth it.

This is my third time here, and I really want to like this place… I really do! Just the interior look makes you think that you’ve walked into a cozy locals favorite type of joint. However, from the moment you sit down, you’ll see it’s not. Today was the shortest that my family and I waited for our drink order to be taken, and that was just over five minutes after we were seated. We waited ten minutes for a high chair that we requested upon signing into the wait list. The food was ok. Their«fresh catch» wasn’t so fresh… it was overcooked too… and waaayyyy overpriced. Three strikes and you’re out Fiddlers.

After several days of seafood, really wanted something else. But when we met up with the other team members, they said they enjoyed Fiddler’s and wouldn’t mind going back. So back to the Savannah Riverfront for the third and what turned out to be the best time. Fiddler’s is a two-story restaurant in building block full of shops and restaurants. Complimentary public parking across the street after 5 pm. We went to the ground floor bar and got a table. Ordered a burger(yeah I know, not what to order in a seafood restaurant), but did get one pound of clams. The burger was a perfect medium rare as requested, and so good! The clams in butter sauce was also up to snuff– full of meat and so tasty! I was really jealous of my partner’s ½ lb snowcrab cluster order, it looked delicious, should have ordered it instead! Price for my two orders and a beer with tip came to around $ 35, standard for a seafood indulgence. It was my best meal at the Savannah Riverfront, and a great way to complete my trip! Definitely will repeat when my travels bring me back to Savannah, and highly recommend!

This place is the awesome! We caught Fiddler’s about 30mins or so before closing time on Saturday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered steamed shrimp and it didn’t take long to come out. They were delicious! The next day there was no question where my friend and I was going to eat lunch before we headed back to Florida. 2 workers from the night before remembered our faces and welcomed us back. The responsible bartenders make sure you are hydrated if they see that you have been drinking. We had a cup of ice cold water as soon as we set down. Everything we tried on the menu was cooked to perfection! The steamed shrimp, chicken, and the steamed platter. We laughed and joked with the servers. I would recommend this place. The prices were reasonable, food is good and service is great.

Lovely décor. We were on a hunt for good raw oysters. The dozen blue points, which are pricier than their standard oysters, were terribly salty. I’ve had lots of blue points and other east coast oysters in my time and none have been as unbearably salty. We finished our drinks and continued our search.

Decent spot in the tourist area. Bartenders weren’t too friendly but wait service was good nonetheless. Parking meters across the street. Upstairs and downstairs seating. Menu pricing for lunch was moderate. Overall a decent place for food!

This place is probably a 3 to 4 star place. It’s not really anything too out of the ordinary; it’s just kind of your typical southern, seafood restaurant. The wait to get seated was about 40 – 50 minutes, and it felt attributed to a lack of communication between staff. That brought my review down to four stars instead of five. In addition, the wait to get served once seated also took a while, about 15 minutes? It seemed to be due to poor staffing rather than poor service from the wait staff though. For that reason, the review could be decreased to 3 stars, since it affects your overall experience. However, the food was pretty good! It IS your typical southern, seafood place, but I felt that their execution of the dishes was done well. Our waiter recommended the alligator bites, and those were cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed that appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the fried seafood platter and I ordered the shrimp po’ boy. The fried items were fried correctly and the ingredients seemed fresh. Would we go again? Mmm… probably not? But I would recommend it for others to try, since I could see some people really enjoying the food here. Note: The place is two stories and pretty crowded, so it might not be wheelchair accessible.

Don’t do it. The service was slower than turtles running through peanut butter and the food tasted like it was seasoned with air.
