This is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. I lived in Japan for four years, my aunt and cousins for over 20. This is not even close. The worst part was there seemed to be an all Asian staff… How are they missing the beat so hard? I’ve never given a one but it was filthy, poor service and bad food :(

I’m gonna try and not knock this place down, but I felt I had to share my experience. The minute you walk in to this restaurant, it feels dirty and dingy. The server took out order pretty quickly and brought our drinks fast too. We order the Gyoza(Beef Dumplings) as an app — we couldn’t eat more than one each and left the rest on the place; it was extremely greasy, tasted like oil, dry on the edges and the beef just didn’t taste good. On a positive note, I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was very well cooked. I asked for fried rice, they brought steamed, though. The server asked me why we didn’t eat the dumplings and I told her bluntly; I assumed she was going to take it off the bill, but she didn’t care. Needless to say, I took off part of her tip! The reason I went to this place it was pure convenience of the place I was in at the time; I won’t come back.

This place has been on a major decline since their other locations opened. The floors, tables and walls are filthy. The service is mediocre. My biggest complaint besides the filth is that when you order to go food they won’t give you the salad that comes with your meal. Now when I want sushi I go to sushi zen or tangerine.

The food was good and the people were nice and helpful. Unfortunately it looks like they haven’t cleaned the place in a really long time. Everything was dirty including our menus. When eating at a sushi place especially, things to be clean.

This is not big, high dollar sushi here… More like good, reasonably priced food. The Teriyaki chicken is great with either fried or steamed rice. Steak and chicken combo is always a good choice too!

i’m someone who loves sushi so much i run with the phrase«there’s(hardly) any bad sushi.» well. uh… this is bad sushi, sorry. in all fairness i ordered carryout sushi but should that make a difference? doesn’t seem like it, although their carryout sushi menu is admittedly smaller and less interesting than the eat-in one. very standard rolls, of which i ordered two. also a ebi nigiri. mushy and not particularly flavorful or fresh fish. rice was over-sweetened and cloying. i pass by kroger’s of all places to get to heiwa’s. honestly, i’d get kroger’s sushi next time.

First Time at this Location. Good as always. I always go to the one on Abercorn-they know me their. Service was good. The Waitress looked like she just woke up, and had an attitude. But, I’d definitely go back there.

Very inexpensive & good Asian food. My favorites are the stir fried chicken with rice, soup, and salad. As well the sushi. Outstanding, especially for the price.
