I have been to so many different sushi restaurants but honestly this is the best. The food is definitely so fresh and delicious is unreal. The staff is so friendly. I love the option to sit Japanese style, I do have to say; is not as confortable as what I thought it would be lol. Definitely well deserve the 5 stars. Just amazing and delicious.

I love this place. Seriously love it. Not only is the sushi amazing, but the staff are the nicest people that I have ever met. Ben, the sushi chef, is just wonderful. He always takes care of me and gets to know his customers by name. I usually order the sashimi bridge, which is a beautifully arranged generous assortment of delicious sashimi. I also always get the uni when they have it available. It is always so fresh and melts in your mouth. They don’t always have it, so it’s always a welcome treat when they do have it in. I will miss this place when the Army moves me away from Savannah.

Must say hands down best sushi in Savannah. I actually had them make me a custom roll and I loved it. The lady that helps me every time is the sweetest. I never get her name but she knows mine lol. She already knows my order you memory. Very small and personal tables but it’s so quiet and cute. I highly recommend. Its a little pricey but sushi is always pricey. Pay for quality not quantity.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Savannah. Having lived in Japan for 5 years, the food is authentic Japanese and extremely tasty. From the tempura to sushi, this place is the best. Highly recommended!

First off there are an overwhelming number of menus thrown your way which makes your selection process a little confusing since some of them had the same options. We ordered a speciality sushi roll it was really good a little pricey for just 6 pieces but it was worth it. The pork cutlet dinner and the miso ramen was good I’ve had better but it wasn’t disappointing either, it’s probably the best you’re going to find in Savannah. I’ll definitely be back for the sushi if not anything else. Also I know Unilocal says you’ll get a free dessert if you check in well that’s only for the Martin Luther King location it does not apply to this location when we pointed out that it says other wise they were nice enough to give us a plate of strawberry mochi on the house and said they’ll get on fixing it.

The food here is perfect, all very fresh and clean and feels like you ate a healthy meal. The lunch specials are amazing deals and very generous portions. The service is also amazing. I have been here with and without children and in both situations they excel but I would like to point out that they are incredibly sweet to kids. While they don’t have a separate kid’s menu they have special kid’s eating utensils and coloring books, etc. Overall this is great place for lunch or dinner if you are on the south side.

Great sushi amazing service. Really looked over this place a few times cause it doesn’t seem like much. Checked it out one day for lunch and man what a hidden gem. The sushi was great, the service was amazing. The green tea and mint tea are not very sweet but they will bring you sugar water to add to your liking and both are the best teas I have ever had outside of making my own.

Prior to eating here, I had almost given up on having great sushi in the Savannah area. Besides one or two places in the area that we enjoyed, there was nothing here that stood out… Until we discovered Sushi Zen! The sushi here was delicious! My husband and I started with gyoza and takoyaki. We decided on the Havana roll and the Volcano roll and let me tell you the Havana roll was so good! My husband and I demolished it within seconds. Had absolutely no complaints about anything at Sushi Zen and looking forward to coming back and exploring the rest of their menu!

Sushi Zen is our favorite sushi restaurant and one of the very few authentic Japanese restaurants in town. The chef and sushi chef take great care in preparing and presenting each dish with only the freshest, quality ingredients. Wonderful food and wonderful people!

This used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in town around 7 years ago. Went there again for the first time in that many years. Service was good food and was alright. The reason I give it 3 stars because the shoyu ramen was way too salty. I think I was drinking salt water from Tybee Island. Chef should really taste the broth before serving. Way too much sodium

Staff is very friendly. I went in for lunch«to go». I was alone. While I waited«HE-TOE-ME», my waitress gave me some things to read regarding the Japanese culture and some of their traditions.(March 3) I ordered something that was on the dinner menu so it was going to take longer than a fast food restaurant. Everything was cooked to order and was coming out«fresh». I ordered the Steak and Shrimp dinner with a salad. The presentation was beautiful. The taste, was EXCELLENT! I’m all about atmosphere and this place has it. I felt like I took a trip to Japan during my lunch break. Although my server only served me for 5 minutes, I still tipped her for 20% of the total check. She was that good. The price of everything seems a bit expensive, but for everything that I got, I guess you get what you pay for. If you don’t like it there are fast food places nearby, but you won’t get anything close to this food. Try it for yourself! You’ll be glad you did!

I love this place. Everytime I have visited they have taken the time to cater to my needs and even talk to me about certain cuisine as I like to be educated on various cultures and their dishes. My boyfriend and I visited and had never tried sushi before, but opened his mind and palate to it. He was amazed at the taste. It was wrapped in sweet mango – THEBEST! Upon leaving, the bartender gave us a cutsie box with an origami swan in a small blue box. That was such a sweet gesture.

This a solid four star establishment in my humble opinion. The staff goes out of their way to inshore you’re having a wonderful experience. If you have a child the staff will make them origami’s which my daughter just loves. The food is great and the sushi is amazing. The only downside is the price they charge you for a soda which is highway robbery when you consider it’s coming from a can, because you can hear them popping the tab. Other than that this is a great.

WORSTEXPERIENCEOFMYLIFE! waited foreverrrr for our food – a group of us 4 – which came out individually, with 10 – 20 minutes between each person getting their food. Food wasn’t good. One person didn’t get what they ordered. Service was TERRIBLE. No empty tables were cleaned. Overall awful experience, will never go back, will tell all my friends it was terrible

Cute little sushi restaurant in Savannah, you can eat at the sushi bar, at a table or cross legged at a much shorter table with your shoes off… not sure how I feel about people’s shoes two feet from some of the tables, but luckily, I sat far enough away from the shoeless patrons and shoes on the floor next to my table area to make a personal decision. A good place for a first date. The food: Havana Roll is described as light fried… this one wasn’t. It was hard fried and a bit more spicy than I expected. Sunomono Salad was a bit more exotic than the«cucumber salad» that was described to me by the waiter. In fact, I think the cucumber should have been left out entirely, taste didn’t complement the sauce and the three types of raw fish that came with the dish. Beware, the Nigori Sake(unfiltered) is very sweet… this one is on me for thinking all unfiltered sakes are made alike. The service: Somewhat disappointing… I had three people serving me and no one taking responsibility for my experience. I would have ordered the Mochi for desert but decided against it when my waiter, waitress and owner respectively walked to my table and waited for me to initiate the conversation… all were asked for the bill and only one decided to double check and confirm that my request had been ignored by the prior two servers. Three stars because I’ll be back with a date… stay tuned.
