This is a cute little breakfast buffet. The food was yummy but they were a bit slow getting stuff out as things ran empty. Haven’t had lunch or dinner here. I was happy with the quality of food and the variety. I didn’t have to pay for it, so, I can’t speak to cost. I had scrambled eggs, grits, biscuit with gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoes.

Ooooh’an The Smoke Gouda Soup… Will make’Ya’wannah slap your … First time to this Sunrise Resturant location. They have 3. After leaving Lab Corp which is in the same business section, we decided to have brunch here. DynaMite prices!!! Wide selection!!! Serve southern dishes that the other locations does not!!! A MEGAPLUS!!! Check out the pictures I took AND a few shots of the menu. We recommend this spot. The local work force frequents this place. You see plenty of the suits and professionals dining plenty amongst the rest of the Savannians. 5 star dining FranknKimm

I came here last Saturday morning for breakfast and ate off the buffet. Now I’m not a huge fan of eating at pig troughs, but I was hungry. Maybe a two seems harsh, but a three seems to generous to me. The service was ok, the food was tolerable(though not all that great), and the restaurant itself just felt dirty and uninviting. The coffee was great though! I’ll give them that.

Great menu(their omelettes are awesome) and an excellent breakfast buffet(eggs, hashbrowns, grits, sausage & gravy, biscuits, french toast sticks, fresh fruit, etc etc). Service is fast and friendly, although be wary of the Sunday after church rush.

Ambiance not that great, very dull and lighting too low even with big windows. No music or tv on. Hash browns not very crispy. Coffee served in plastic mugs-ceramic is best. Waitress was very friendly. I like the bright colors they wear-should emanate throughout the ambiance too! Food was ok. Prices were good. Menu selection was great.

Average diner with a large selection. I ended up with a shrimp omlette and a side of grits. Some of my shrimps were a little gritty but overall the dish was okay. Service was attentive.

I’m in Savannah on business, and this is one of the favorite hangouts of one of my colleagues. So in under a week’s time, I’ve had food catered by Sunrise, two lunches and one breakfast. The menu is basic diner fare. And the food is good(not great, but solid). Where they really stand out is the staff. And maybe it’s because I was with a regular, but they’re awesome. Their lunch«meat and three» is good — fried chicken here is quite tasty. But breakfast is where it really shines. Have an omelet, they’re outstanding. And if you like thin, crispy hash browns, theirs can’t be beat.

We were looking for something new this morning so we headed over to Sunrise Restaurant, located just off Chatham Parkway. We’d passed it a few times and figured what the heck. The menu was fairly straight forward with selections of eggs, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, and sweeter confections like pancakes and french toast. I ordered the Irish omelette while my wife couldn’t make a decision and so she opted for the buffet, with a bit of everything. The buffet had a fair fruit sampling as well as all the standards. She came back with a plate of melon and another assortment of fried things like eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns. My plate arrived swiftly and it was a sizeable omelette with a hefty helping of grits on the side. My omelette was a delicious blend of corned beef, mushroom, and onion and the eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked. My only minor complaint was that the grits were a bit creamy for my taste and there was no shredded cheese available to thicken them. Otherwise, two great meals for a reasonable price. Also, for the lunch crowd, there was a sign in front listing their daily menu. Apparently they turn into a meat and three restaurant after breakfast.
