After a week in New Orleans gorging ourselves on fried seafood, we were beyond ready to eat something vegan/vegetarian…but I really thought we’d have to wait until our next stop on the road trip. Veg food in Savannah? Who knew? I had the seitan philly cheese wrap, which was absolutely to die for! I can’t even imagine meat eaters disliking it. Grilled onions and peppers, gooey white cheddar, firm and meaty seitan… it was amazing! I also tried the peanut pasta salad, which was less awe-inspiring and a little under-seasoned, but still pretty good.

We(2 adults, 2 small kids) really wanted this place to be good — reasonable prices, veggies, nice location, looks friendly, and the menu looks very promising. The problem — it just not very good — from the menu we couldn’t guess all our sides would be cold, nothing of the five things we ordered was above average at best. The kids won’t eat anything — the kids menu doesn’t really have anything friendly looking(why no rice? beans?), so we ordered adult stuff for them, and they wouldn’t touch it(not a problem usually). Besides the service is weird — its not really self service, and not really full service, so you still tip, but don’t really get any service for it… The place does have promise — it just needs to execute much better.

Ok food. Disappointing that only about an hour and a half after opening they are already out of the daily soups, the gazpacho. They were also out of the gluten-free wrap, which they offer in quite a few of their dishes. I got the falafel on a bead of lettuce instead. They were kinda bad: mealy instead of moist. Forgettable meal all in all, would give it 2 stars. The extra one is for offering vegan.

It is a great family owned shop. I enjoy my Korean BBQ sandwich and tea, however my husband is not too happy with the environment. When we were there, it was very hot and AC was not running in the store. I am okay with it but some people may be discouraged to dine in…

lots of veggie options + fast service + cheap prices = good go to for lunch I came here recently with my boyfriend and was impressed with their Mountain burger even though they didn’t have pickles and it was a bit salty on its own. My boyfriend is in love with their Philly seitan cheese steak sandwich. Small shop so you have to aim for it but well worth it!

Great spot, great addition to downtown. Could it be better, yes and less expensive, absolutely. A veggie wrap, chips and an iced tea should not set you back $ 14. Especially when their exact same menu in Asheville is lower across the board. Avoid eating inside and avoid the Portobella. It’s not easy to be exploratory with their menu but once you find what you like, you’ll keep coming back.

Loved it! I had the BBQ tempeh sandwich with a side of sesame peanut pasta salad. Both were super flavorful with great texture. The portions were generous. My friend had a falafel with a side of roasted italian veggies and he was also very happy. It is GREAT to see a vegetarian place in Savannah and we will DEFINITELY be back!

This was the worst vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to. I had one bite of the veggie burger and threw the rest away, the odd flavor made me feel sick. My friends portabello sandwich was obviously not marinated and tasted rubbery and old. The broccoli was burnt. The service was nice, however I would expect a veg place to be more Eco friendly. Our in house meal was served in take out containers, very unnecessary. If you eat here be ready to leave with a belly ache.

Terrific choice. The menu is great — fresh, local-ish, good choices and options. I had the southwestern black bean burrito and sweet potato fries. All good. I also splurged with a brownie made with black beans and a chocolate grenache — pretty yummy. The local alternative rag did a review that poo-pooed the menu and the location — the guy was clearly clueless. This is a great vegetarian fast food option; great for take out, they’ve made an exceptional effort at recycling, including a compost bucket! I’ll stop in every time I visit and once a week once I move to SAV next month!

Lots of unique veggie options and creative use of ingredients for sandwiches and wraps. Great vegan double chocolate chip cookies and friendly staff!

Excellent food delivered fast. I was visiting Savannah this week and struggling to find vegan options and found this restaurant. I was quite pleased with the selection and I appreciated the attention to vegan and gluten free. This is definitely at the top of my list next time I return. My only request would be that they add vegan cheese, but otherwise awesome.
