Revamped menu. Large space with an outdoor seating area and smaller bar upstairs. Lots of local food and beer options. Delicious!

When we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and hello. Four of us sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. The bartenders that were on Friday night(Feb 12th) were awesome! Drinks were quick to be poured, made well and the bartenders were just plain fun! My boyfriend and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Savannah Brat Dog to split. Our friends ordered the Beer Steamed Clams and Sausage Skewers to split. Everything was wonderful, the Shrimp and Grits were phenomenal! All in all I would highly recommend this place, Savannah in general has some great eats, but Churchill’s will be my go to spot now whenever I am in town! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience!

Nice atmosphere. Food is good, would have to try more items to give better assessment. Brats and Mash were great. Like the fact everything is fresh and most items local. Wife wasn’t as thrilled about her Pub Steak. It was just ok. Nice variety of beer on the menu. I’ll come back again.

Great atmosphere and really good food. Prefer sitting upstairs as opposed to the wine cellar because I feel it’s a little quieter upstairs. Food has always been excellent. They are closed for lunch though.

Shrimp and grits… how much more authentic can you get down here in the South. Last night was my first meal in Savannah and was really good and it had to be something that is a staple back here. The cheddar cheese beer pub soup was tasty, just not well mixed with small clumps of unmelted cheese. I ate every last spoonful though. No room for dessert tonight!

Great, professional service. Shepard’s pie was a disappointment and the veggies were a bit too salty. Nice atmosphere with lots of tourists and some locals.

Great restaurant with great service! My wife had the Broughton Tacos and the Fried Beet salad — Awesome. I had the Pub Steak which also was awesome! Super tender and juicy cooked exactly how I asked for it! Prices were great — definitely a higher quality«pub» — not a dingy bar/pub at all.

The service here was amazing! Justin and Lauren were great bartenders, serving up a great selection of drinks and a delicious shepherd’s pie. I’d highly recommend it as one of the best bars that I visited in Savannah!

Worst experience ever! We got seated in the back corner of the restaurant and sat there for over 15 minutes waiting for a server. We saw one guy working the whole room and go to a 6 top table with drinks, left, dropped off drinks to another table, left, and came back to take the 6 top tables order. We thought he was coming to us next, nope went to the computer to put that tables order in. I guess since my party was just two we weren’t very important. Will NEVER try there again!

Beet salad-yum! Flatbread could have been cooked longer. So flatbread was a big failure. Nonetheless no parking. This was a tourist spot. Good drinks. That’s about it.

As I told bae, «there is a Churchill’s in every city.» Why was I not surprised when I found one in Savannah. Luckily they are not all the same! This place had lots of locals and popping on a Sunday night when the rest of the bars where closed or slow. They offer lots of drinks and beers with great food. We tried the cheese plate that comes with meats, cheeses, crackers, nuts, and a honey comb. It was so good we didn’t get to take a picture in time. It also enticed the people to my left and my right to order their own. We all agreed it’s worth ordering if you just want to nibble and drink. I also got a flight of beer. Always drink the light beers first!

I might be bias because I got married here(upstairs at 10 Downing), but I love Churchill’s!!! We come back every year and eat here to celebrate our anniversary. I absolutely love the Shrimp and Grits and the Crab Cakes. They also have the best Macaroni and Cheese I have ever had at a Pub! I have never ordered anything I didn’t thoroughly enjoy here. Not to mention everyone is still talking about how good the food was from our wedding!

It was a slow start to the service at the bar but had a great time as the level of service became more attentive — I think the bartender who was by himself was overwhelmed. Beer selection was good and there were seasonal selections. Only downfall is that they measure liquor — not free pour as it should be.

I went here as a party of two. I ordered the seafood stew and it was delightful. Just what I needed on a dark and far-from-chilly night. It was savory and contained generous portions of a variety of seafood delectables. I was a little disappointed there were not more traditional English treats available. As a Churchill fan, I was also expecting some Churchillian vibes… but alas, it was a pub indeed with a decent menu. Drinks were unfortunately way overpriced and far too sweet. I don’t need a lot of alcohol in my cocktail, but the syrups(peach to be specific) was overpowering in what I ordered. They are in the neighborhood where tourists(like myself) fall into that trap however. My dinner date ordered the shepherds pie and the serving was quite large with an abundance of juicy steak pieces. The gravy gets a huge thumbs up! Staff seemed to be pretty busy on a Saturday night and not too attentive but enough to meet our basic needs. We probably would have ordered more drinks if they had made the time to ask.

This was our second visit to Churchill’s Pub. On our first visit, the wife got the meatloaf and loved it. I got the«bangers and mash», it was pretty good. This time, my wife, my daughter and I ordered the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding… what a mistake! There was so much food! Everything was tasty, the roast beef could be cut with a fork and the gravy wasn’t bad. The have a Pimento dip that the wife REALLY likes, but for me? Eh! I’ve never been to the U.K., so I have no idea how authentic the fare or the interior of the pub really is, but it’s definitely something different.

This place is awesome. My best meal so far in Savannah. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Bangers and made was off the hook!

I was really expecting better quality for the entrees. Everything on the menu sounded so appetizing, I had trouble choosing. Bangers and mash was basic, not bad. The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was completely disappointing. The meat was too tough to even chew and the Yorkshire pudding was stale. All I ended up eating was the garlic green beans and the gravy. The restaurant décor was charming and the service was great. Perhaps I just chose the wrong thing off the menu, but I don’t think I’ll be going back to find out.

Truly a solid 4 star for this restaurant; I really enjoyed my dinner here while I was visiting Savannah. We went in about a half hour the restaurant opened and we’re immediately seated and waited on. They had a good choice of IPAs and I really enjoyed their local options! To eat, I had the French onion soup and the turkey avocado sandwich with fries. The French onion soup is definitely a try if you are ever here. My sandwich was good and flavorful, however, for the price I paid for it I’d expected more sandwich and more fries on the plate! Because of that skimpiness, I would only rate this place a 3 star, however, the quick and exceptional service and the ambiance really brought it up to a solid four stars! If you’re staying in Savannah for the weekend I would definitely try to hit this place up!

A really neat and(allegedly) haunted bar with spotty service. My group of friends and I came here for a pub crawl around 7:30pm on a Monday night. Apparently this is a busy night for them — the bar was packed and the staff was frantically trying to serve everyone. Ordering at the bar took at least 15 minutes — my guess is the bartender was new since he was going so slow, but couple that with an understaffed bar and you’re going to have to wait a bit for your drink. Overall, it’s a cool bar that just needs some more bartenders on the busy nights.

If it weren’t for the really nice waiter, my cocktail, doughnut holes, and the Mac and cheese, I probably would have given this place 1 star. I was REALLY craving some crab cakes and ummmm I’m sorry but these little joints were not even close to crab cakes. I may as well have eaten bread. Seriously! I mean dry bread was the consistency. I could barely taste the crab flavor. The corn joint was alright. Needed salt. I like my Mac and cheese creamy but I understand the southern dry Mac and cheese and it’s cool if done right, and this was done right. My cocktail had me high that night. Alcohol sho nuff did sneak up on me… In a good way that is. The doughnut holes were good. I was told this is a new item and well they need to keep it. Kind of made up for the mishap with the crab cakes but not got enough to make me forget. Will I go back, no. I’ll be back in Savannah next year, but there are so many other good restaurants to visit… I’m sure that provide fresh fish and do crab cakes justice. Big ups to the waiter who did his thing that night up on the rooftop. He was pretty cool.
