I guess it’s a nice place, the food and coffee are good but the management is not concerned one iota what your experience might be once you are served… Once again, it is a pretty good idea, so now let’s turn it over to unsupervised teenagers and let them make the decisions on how customers are treated and served. There is, for instance, no concern that a customer at 7:15 a.m. may not want listen to an hour of death metal music at volume as they begin to greet the day. Try Gallery Espresso. At least the teenagers there don’t get to choose the music.

Super cute vegan friendly spot right across from Forsyth Park! They have a welcoming menu for all types of diets. I enjoyed the BBQ tofu wrap. The place has a lot of seating, indoor and outdoor. There was also a stage which they use for events. I recommend going here for a lunch before strolling through the park.

Disappointed. Being on a plant-based diet in the south can be a challenge so we listened to Unilocalers and tried this place. The coffee was hot but not very flavorful. The peanut butter smoothie was okay. The BBQ tofu sandwich was acceptable. The gluten free – cook’s choice tacos were mostly a type of green leaf with a few carrots and black beans added to corn tortillas. The food was lackluster. At first we thought we would give this a 3 star rating but then we remembered the long wait for the food and mostly the noisy, crowded atmosphere. I expect this when there are lots of people but the noise actually came from the music and kitchen staff which would yell out the names of the drinks as they finished making them(across two rooms). The décor is funky and you bus your own tables. So, not impressed.

A favorite to visit from everyone in the family. Great food, service, and atmosphere. My husband and I are vegan and our son is vegetarian and we always have great things to eat and drink. The menu offers great variety and the staff always have awesome suggestions! This place has a great vibe that makes us locals feel right at home. Don’t forget to check out their event calendar because they offer great events …

Mmmm, talk about delicious vegan food. It was a nice treat to find the Sentient Bean on our last trip to Savannah. The service was wonderful and the breakfast burrito was fantastic. This will be a regular stop when we come through the city.

There is amazing vegan/vegetarian food at this coffee shop/eatery. I tried the egg, cheese sandwich with vegan sausage and was surprisedly pleased with how good the vegan sausage taste. My 4 other friends and I all rated it 5⁄5. They had the zesto pesto panini, curried tofu salad, vegan super bowl and chunky potato soup.

Was pleasantly surprised when I came in here(clearly without reading the Unilocal reviews!) to find so many vegan and vegetarian options! I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything looked so good! I ended up ordering the vegan tacos which have a delicious curry tofu scramble– SODELICIOUS. I got 3 sizable tacos along with salsa and another yummy spicy sauce. We ordered the pancakes for my daughter– they were out of the peach topping but for $ 5 you got 3 thick plate sized pancakes with butter and syrup(the pancakes themselves are vegan, tasted like they had a hint of cinnamon) and they were so incredibly yummy I couldn’t stop eating them myself! The date filled«morning bun» was a hit with my husband, as well as his large iced coffee with vanilla. I wish I had ordered one of those coffees myself! My sister and I split a large iced dirty chai with almond milk, which I think was a little too strongly chai flavored, that or the espresso was a bit too bitter. That and their home fry/roasted potatoes were the two misses of an otherwise awesome breakfast– and it was very reasonably priced! I’m giving the place 5 stars for food, the ambiance otherwise was probably just a 4, nothing special about it. I will definitely come back here though for the food next time I’m in Savannah!

Incredible, healthy and delicious food. Super chill vibe-as low key as it gets. Stumbled I this little gem by accident on a Saturday morning after the Forsyth farmers market. So happy I did :)

Love this shop! They have extremely smooth espressos. The owner is also very knowledgeable about coffee. And they serve vegan food as well!

1st time here and food was good. We got the BBQ Tofu tacos(favorite), pesto panini and egg/cheese croissant. Everything was great and flavorful. Nice portions/prices. Coffee was okay. Service could be better but it’s a café and more of a self-serve type of place just FYI. Nice little patio out back for outdoor seating.

Delicious mochas. Would give 4 stars but the Credit Card policy needs to get with the times. Everything on the menu is $ 3.50−4.50. The Credit Card minimum? $ 5. And the prices aren’t round figures, and are before tax. That means you are getting some BS change back, specifically: Pennies. Don’t make me accept pennies to buy from you. It’s 2016, accept the plastic.

Savannah — The Hostess City of the South Being vegan is difficult in the south. Our last meal in the city was spent here in this quirky, yet healthy alternative to Savannah’s mainstream establishments. With plenty of choices for for us to pick from, we settled on the Vegan Breakfast Burrito, which was nourishing and hit the spot. They also had an assortment of sweet stuffs at the counter. We picked out a few things for our drive back to Atlanta. You order at the register and they bring your food to you’re table. We noticed them setting up for live music when we were leaving. It would’ve been nice to hang out longer, but we had to hit the road. I wish we’d come here for every meal during our stay! Highly recommend

It’s really nice to be in the south and find vegan food. The food was good, the coffee was great and the vegan pastry selection was actually huge. If you’re looking for a hippie gem in the middle of Savannah, this is the place to visit. Rated food and beverages: Vegan breakfast burrito, vegan super bowl, cold brew coffee & vegan mint chocolate brownie.

If you are vegan or vegetarian then this is the southern vegan oasis you’ve been wishing for. It’s funky and a tad grungy, but the food is good and affordable with lots of vegetarian/vegan and some gluten free options. Would have given it 5 stars if it was a little bit cleaner. Still, this is the place you are looking for.

This place was like an oasis in the desert for me! Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options to go around! The chai tea latte was delicious!!! My 7yo son tried his first ever BBQ tofu taco and loved it. I had a breakfast taco that was very good. We also got a few slices of cake(1 of which was GF) to go! This would definitely be a place I would return to on my next visit!

Fine stop for coffee and lunch while in and around the Forsyth Park area. They have an 100% vegetarian menu which we appreciated. The coffee beverages were generously portioned and well crafted. The bathrooms are clean and there is self service water — it was a good pit stop in general.

Extra extra! Coffee, coffee and baked goods for the vegan consumer! Stroll in and dine or sip while you work! Plenty of space and tables! Open atmosphere! Good choices for food! Salad, wrap or snack! What impressed me the most about this place was how much space was available to just be here. There were a good number of tables, but unlike just about any other coffee house that I’d visited before, there was just so much room here. It was lovely. However, it also added a very«in the open» feel for those who might have agoraphobia. They have coffee beans for purchase — nice. Because, what else do you want but to bring home some tasty beans for later home consumption? The menu is a bit haphazard looking on the wall to the left of the counter and pastries, but, it survives and serves up some nice choices. Really though, I thought the coolest part was the pastry case of baked goods was pretty much all vegan. True, it was filled with gluten-laden items, but who cares if you can have them dairy-free? Well, for the most part, people will be just fine with the vegan gluten-based items. Cake, muffins/quick bread, cookies… yum! The food items are standard café-style fare, with delicious salads and sandwiches/wraps/potatoes. Breakfast/brunch seems to be pretty sweet, too, but I didn’t try any of them… but anything that says«breakfast burrito» makes me happy. Great food choices to compliment the delicious assortment of COFFEE… because really, it’s all about the coffee(with almond milk, please…). Drink some there and get some beans to go. Love the assortment!

Little restaurant across the street from Forsyth Park in quaint Savannah. The food was vegetarian with a good selection. I just ordered the baked potatoes with greens, butter and sour cream. It also has a selection of vegan goods also. The do serve wine and craft beers along with specialty sodas. Atmosphere was very hip and nouveau setting. Staff were cool and friendly. Seating ranged from couches to tables with s patio in the rear and some tables on the sidewalk near the park. I recommend it all vegan and vegetarians.

I swear, when we walked through the doors, it felt like we were transported from Georgia to Berkeley. Now, mind you, I grew up in the Bay and I visit Berkeley at least two dozen times a year. So, if I didn’t have the vast knowledge of crunchiness that I do, I’d likely feel so much different about this place. However, I can’t change where I am from and the experiences I’ve had. It almost felt like the entire crew decided to dress up for Halloween and the theme was crunchy hipster-hippies from Berkeley and alas, they didn’t pull it off well enough. The two exceptions would be: 1) female armpit hair 2) body odor Those two areas were on point indeed! A bit too much. Kinda like they were trying too hard to hit the nail just right to hammer home the theme. Solid location directly across from Forsythe park(see my review for that gem) and the coffee was decent. Prices were not too bad, but a bit steep for the deep South, in my opinion. They host a wide array of events and on the afternoon/early evening we strolled up, it was belly dancing night. I saw the kinda bellies I’d prefer A) not to see at all and B) don’t belong on the dance floor.
