This is a great place to read, write and study. It is quieter and more chill than some of the coffee shops around. The coffee drinks are excellent and the service is great. The Foundry is a place to get stuff done or chill and do nothing at all.

For coffee, this place pretty much can’t be beat! I saw that they had a signature coffee called the«Jon Snow» and my inner Game of Thrones fan was very happy with the iced brew! My only suggestion would be that the Foundery could bring in a lot more customers at a larger variety of times if it had more food options. I love the quaint art-town coffee shop feel, so I would not at all suggest they lose that by becoming a lunch place or anything, but offering a more diverse choice of fruits, cookies, pasties, tea sandwiches, or other small bites that compliment coffee would help make this a more popular option around meal times. We went around 10am and had GREAT coffee, but we had to go over to Green Truck afterwards because we were a bit hungry and there werent many snack options.

Love this place. Such a great shop to stop on my way to work or on the weekends. The baristas are GREAT, all of them, and the coffee(teas, too!) are good. It is simple and delicious . The atmosphere is wonderful, I wish I would have lived around something like this in college. it is quiet and so much space to spread out. Maybe I will go and just bring a book :)

Foundery is a really great place to be known by your neighbors, greeted by friendly staff, and served delicious drinks from coffee by local roaster Cup to Cup, to chai, hot chocolate, and even themed drinks based on pop culture references. The Khaleesi is my all time favorite go-to, and Fall weather brings back the Harry Potter themed drinks! This coffee shop is actually a 501c3, and all profits go to running the place and providing community space and activities. The ‘Pub’ in the name is short for ‘Public House’ and whispers of Old English times where folks gathered around and enjoyed life together at a place outside of work and home, a third place. Foundery hosts movie nights, game nights, open mic, and more. There’s a thriving artist community budding there called The Conservatory and gallery space that is FREE for use with an exchange of community arts hours with one of their ongoing programs! There is visual and performing arts available. Writers, painters, animators, musicians and actors, inquire after their many options for involvement. This is a place that truly exists for the people they serve! While it could be cozier, perhaps, there are plans to continue to beautify the space. The lighting is all hand crafted by a local artisan. The bar is made of reclaimed wood by a local who runs RetroFit. The workers are all neighbors and contributors to the life and vision of Foundery as a place of welcome to all. If you want great drinks, interesting conversation, new activities, thriving community arts, a place to plug in, study, laugh, share, and just be, you are welcome at Foundery! Definitely check it out!
