Best coffee shop in Savannah, and its not even a coffee shop. It’s a sizable roastery filled with great music, friendly people, the sounds of coffee roasting equipment giving off amazing aromas. There just happens to be a counter in the corner, and if one walks in, they will gladly make you a bitchin’ cup. 3 dollars for such a good pour over is a complete steal. Also, they don’t skimp: they completely hook you up and aren’t shy about giving extra if extra is brewed. The staff is awesome. These aren’t checked out baristas, or teenagers forced by parental’s to get a job. These people are passionate about coffee, and it sure as hell makes a difference. Do yourself a favor and get the Kenya Gacatha. Also, do yourself a favor and pick up a bag of PERC coffee. It’s a Savannah gem.

A must for coffee nerds like me. Fantastic craft coffee and espresso. Leaving NYC, I was afraid I would only find Starbucks and stale restaurant coffee during my visit to Savannah. Honestly, their El Salvador pour over was one of the finest I’ve ever had. I used to run a NY bistro that featured craft coffee service, so I consider myself pretty well informed on this topic. But you gotta come try for yourself.

Excellent coffee with many choices. A great building in the heart of Savannah. Many different tastings. If you are a coffee drinker, this is the place to go.

Saw a Perc stand during the Forsythe Park Farmers Market. Pointed me to the Broad street location for hot coffee.(Farm Stand only had cold brew.) Taylor did a pour over for me in the store which was amazing. He also made me a pound of Christmas blend fresh to take home. He also gave me some excellent tips on what to do in Savannah. Great Great experience.

I was just visiting Savannah and in desperate need of caffeine on a Friday morning. I just googled coffee shop, and followed directions to get to Perc. Because I’m a big, dumb idiot(or caffeine deprived), I didn’t check to see what this business was all about. They roast coffee during the week and are only open as a true coffee shop on Saturdays. The nice heavily-bearded fellow behind the counter was more than welcoming and gave me a cup of coffee. Not only was the coffee on the house, but it was THEBEST cup of coffee I’ve ever had. I’m kicking myself for not buying a bag of the stuff. I’ll be tracking it down ASAP. Highly recommend, but maybe follow the rules and just go on Saturday morning for a cup of coffee.

I have had PERC at Foxy Loxy and Coffee Fox, but it was great to be at the place where the coffee is roasted. The Ethiopian blend is good, and I especially like Nitro Cold Brew which is a nitrogenated coffee served on tap. The retail is currently only open on Saturday morning, but it is great way to start your weekend.

Stopped by today while the company was busy roasting and packaging coffee. I had an employee/(owner/manager?) make me and my dad a free coffee, with precision — he measured beans and water by weight. And the water temperature was kept at an exact standard. Great experience. I bought 12 oz of bob-o-link coffee(date of roast: today!)

PERC coffee roasters, located at 1802 East Broad Street(One Way) in Savannah, GA is an excellent independent third wave roaster. Situated near Midtown the roasting facility is not a coffee shop, however, the public is welcome to purchase from an assortment of freshly roasted whole beans, they also kindly offered us each an espresso shot. While we came home with an array of beans, Koke Cooperative, a sweet and fruity blend has been our favorite so far. For those lusting after the Juggernaut, Bob-O-Link, El Aguacate AA or other roasts, ordering online is available for a mere $ 5.00 shipping fee.
