Tried it on a whim as we’ve walked past it 1000 times. Wow. What a pleasant surprise. The service was stellar, friendly and prompt. The sushi was fresh, made in front of you, and awesome! Hidden gem.

Escaping traffic from New York City to Connecticut, we used Unilocal to help us find this sushi spot tucked into a shopping center. Because we were there at 3pm, we literally had the place to ourselves and were delighted to find delicious food at a great price(courtesy of their lunch specials)! My son had the 3 roll special; and the spice asparagus roll was a particular favorite. I had the Tempura Udon which was generous, hot and deliciously comforting on a cold, wet day. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a stop. Thanks for a great lunch, courtesy of Unilocal and Sakura Sushi!

My favorite sushi spot in Westchester. Everything is always fresh, and most importantly, the quality is completely consistent every time. I’ve taken out dozens of times, and not once have I had an issue. The place is meticulously clean and the staff is always friendly. Takeout orders are ready super quickly.

The sushi chef are very polite and make my roll very good, love their spicy tuna and miso soup. I will come back for more. Services are good too.

So I’m like the first to review… like going first in speech class. There are fewer charmless malls than the Golden Horseshoe. If hell has a mall, it’s going to look like the GS with the world worst supermarket, an awful Chinese restaurant and an odd lot of assorted businesses to serve the needs of this community. Against that backdrop, Sakura really isn’t bad, in fact the food is quite good if you are looking for decent sushi without trucking to Dobbs Ferry or those condescending people next to the Hartsdale train station. As far as a restaurant experience goes, eh, not here. It’s sort of like eating in the post office. The wine used to come in airplane bottles. But really the food is good, it’s fairly priced.
