Aria Lounge

I created a Unilocal account just to give these guys 5 stars!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, small and comfy but NOT CROWDED so it was perfect for a date night. The staff is extremely knowledgable, professional, and friendly I’ve worked in customer service for years and was very impressed. Aria has definitely acquired two new regulars

This is one of my favorite locations to kick back and unwind. In the couple times I’ve been, the service is very attentive and knowledgeable. They will be more than happy to make recommendations based on your palette and make frequent (but not too frequent to be pesky) trips over to make sure the charcoals are properly lit. I love the atmosphere here, most of all. This is what will keep me coming back over other hookah locations. I love getting to hang out in the little pillow coves — there’s something more authentic to the experience to me then, and allows more private conversation. The only thing I don’t tend to care for is the music has been loud at times and the choice of music differs each time. I swear the first time I went there we were able to close a curtain in front of the pillow /​floor lounging areas, but in recurrent visits I’d not seen how it was possible. Perhaps I’m recalling something else. It would be kind of cool if they were able to make the different areas more enclosed, but really I do love them the way they are. I’ll keep coming back, great way to unwind.

Its pretty cute inside, but they do not do BYOB. Not their fault, they say it’s Schaumburg law. Hookahs are okay just a little dirty and poor selection of tobacco. Waitresses are nice.

If a Hookah lounge is almost completely occupied on Sunday evening then it’s kinda self-​explained how good the place is. They have pretty interesting name of house blends. I tried ‘Lesbian 3some’ and ‘sexual eruption’. Sexual eruption was really good. They charge like $ 11/​person or $ 13 for Hookah. It’s a decent pricing system I think. Hookah doesn’t go without tea. The Persian tea they have is pretty basic. The sitting arrangement is nice. One thing I would like to be different is the music. Middle eastern music brings a different feel to a Hookah place, it wasn’t there. The service was nice too. I’ll definitely go back.

Very nice hookah, and very nice customer service! The lady that work there Gabriela was very nice with us, and made for us three different kind of blends even if we asked for one, and all of them was very good, specially the: Lesbian Threesome that she also recommended to us. We will come back again, very nice place to smoke a hookah :)

I’ve only been here once, but already I know I’ll be coming back. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. The coals were changed without us asking and they answered all of our questions. My friend and I got the «Kim Jong-​Il» and the «Sexual Eruption» both flavors were great, I recommend. We also tried the Turkish coffee, which both my friend and I enjoyed. The seating areas are private and very comfortable. Also, I need to mention the music, it was on point. It was overall a perfect experience. This is definitely THE spot from now on!

This is my favorite hookah place. I have been coming here for a few years now because the prices of hookah are not outrageous, they have a good list of hookah flavors, the ambiance is nice, and the staff is great. The owner, Ari, is a wonderful guy who seems to care a lot about his customers. He does well to entertain his patrons and makes sure they are satisfied. The rest of the staff is helpful with suggestions and they change the coals at the right time. I like the overall mood of Aria… Their music selection is good but not too loud, so I’m able to talk with friends, and it is a nice place to lounge in with pillows and couches. Each lounge area is separated by a curtain which makes the experience seem more private and cozy. The hookah is very smooth and not harsh at all, so it’s very pleasant to smoke. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. Aria is very accommodating.

Great vibes. Nice music. Intimate setting for sitting. Flavor is great. Staff is very friendly and is always able to give great service.

Ray Romano has great service. The hookah is great. And it’s so chill. If you want a chill place and love Everybody Loves Raymond, this is your spot.

I’ve been through here a several times and this place is now my go to spot for hookah whenever I am in town. The owner is a great guy who is always making sure you are taken care of and provides great service. I especially love their tall hookahs and even got to try one of their hoses which has ice in it… Best hookah I’ve had by far. Apple and melon margarita is pretty good flavors but I’ll be back to try more of their house blends which has some of the best titles I’ve ever seen on their menu. Definitely a very chill place to hang out at. Worth it to check it out!

I have been here on two separate occasions, both times I have had a good experience. I was greeted by the owner himself and had my choice of seating. He was always able to recommend new things to try, none of which were bad recommendations. If the bowl did not hit or the flavor did not taste great, he would gladly replace it with something better of our choosing. One of the best hookah’s was an apple fruit bowl with guava/​white gummy with orange slices in the base!
Definitely a good place to try simply because of the customer service! Prices are also comparable if not cheaper than other places.

The owner at this location is very nice and truly cares about his guest opinions. I would suggest get a fruit bowl (Apple) with gummy bear, guava and hint of lime with an ICE Hose. Just make sure there is someone on staff that knows how to make this for your otherwise the other regular hookah isn’t really that great.

I hadn’t been to a hookah lounge in quite a while, but on a first date the guy wanted our night to last a little longer and suggested we go out a little longer. I have been to other places in this parking lot countless time. I was actually at the LA Tan earlier that day and never noticed this little hookah bar. I even drove past it while looking for it. It could use some better signage.
When it comes to hookah lounges, this place was top notch! The spaces were all pretty individualized and private. You could choose to sit on the floor with pillows or a spot with a couch. Our server was very knowledgeable about the various blends and attentive with the coals. She never made us feel rushed.
I am not as into hookah as I was when I was younger, but if I do decide to go for hookah again I will definitely return to Aria Lounge!

Really nice, mostly quiet, atmosphere. Their hookah flavors are all very unique and I havent been disappointed yet. You can also request the employees to mix flavors to balance the taste to fit your preference. The fact that they serve beverages is a huge plus in my book for a hookah place. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. The sitting areas make the place feel very relaxing. Keep being awesome Aria Lounge!

I like this place. The Kim Jong Il and Lesbian Threome flavors are really good and the service is great. The Persian tea is good and the areas where you get to lay down are sweet; the prices are decent too.

If you’ve heard of Aria Hookah, you are aware that they are a chain hookah lounge. While chains usually mean «same thing in every location» this is definitely not the case for the Schaumburg location. I swore to never step foot in an Aria lounge due to the Grayslake location being the worst lounge I’ve ever been in, but after being swayed by a friend to try the Schaumburg location, I’m very glad I did. Ari, the owner, is one of the most chill guys who will make you feel right at home and usually makes the hookah himself. They use mostly starbuzz tobacco and one of the few locations who carry coconut coals! Overall, music is good for you old school trance lovers and atmosphere is very nice for a chill night!

Came here to hooka, the girl working the entire thing was pretty cool. Made us a mixture of a couple things that tasted great!

I found Aria via Unilocal and the photos are what got me! I loved the intimate yet public setting! Our host was wonderful and the owner even came to see how we were enjoying the lounge! I went w/​my sister and we loved it! It’s the simplicity of this place that makes it unique!

This is a nice little place. The girl that works here has good recommendations & is knowledgeable about everything.
I’m gonna clarify. I went with 3 other people & it was $ 11/​person to hookah with one hookah. I thought it was weird that if you get a hookah individually it would be $ 13 for my own, yet, all 4 of us shared 1 hookah for $ 11/​person. The girl explained it as a tab system, which I understood, but still thought it was weird. We weren’t there very long so we didn’t get to use up our whole tab, but still paid for it all. Maybe it makes more sense to go with a group of people & just hang out, relax & smoke all night :)
Anyway, we got the Kim Jong-​Il (yes, that’s the real name of it) per the girl’s recommendation. It was a blueberry, watermelon, & mint flavor. It was so good!
It was nice to have your own private little seating area to talk & smoke. I could see other groups making bubbles with their hookah smoke.
All I kept wondering was how clean those floors we were sitting on were… I kept thinking they had to be super dirty. I tried to ignore that tho.
As weird as the pricing was, their hookah was good & they’re open late. I’ll def come back.

This was my first hookah lounge I’ve went to, and a few months later, it is always me first choice.
Aria Lounge does such a wonderful job at preparing a delicious assortment of flavored hookah, and tending to their customers. Aria himself has been there every night I’ve gone and never fails to tell a joke or two or accommodate my guests and I. I had an issue with our mix not tasting as well as I thought it would, and he gladly replaced it with something more enjoyable, free of charge.
I really like this place because it’s one of the smaller places and it’s lower-​key and not as overrun by obnoxious high schoolers like a few other places.
I would recommend the Lesbian Threesome. Fruity and Floral, with a very smooth draw and thick clouds of sweet smoke.
