Professional, prompt and meticulous is how I would describe Short Stacks. I’ve had a few different companies clean my home, but this is the only one that ever exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be working with them again!

Oh how I love Short Stacks! As a busy mom and teacher, my house often ends up being the last thing I worry about. I hired Short Stacks to do a good deep clean for me and when I returned home, it felt like a tribe of fairy godmothers came and worked absolute magic! My house was spotless and there was nothing left untouched. Every corner, picture frame, floorboard and piece of furniture was cleaned to absolute perfection. Their prices are more than fair given the amount of time and care they invested in my house.
The communication between the staff and me was also first rate! I appreciate the reminders as well as following up afterwards.
I am looking forward to seeing them more regularly. I cannot thank them enough for their spectacular work!

We have an unfinished basement and we are planning to put some carpet and paint down there. Since we moved in three years ago, we had some flooding down there and then we put in a drainage system. Which meant a lot of jack-​hammering and dust. We had not cleaned the basement since we moved in (!) so I was looking for someone who seemed like they specialized in really gritty jobs. I found Short Stacks, and if you look on their website, they have some great before /​after pictures that gave me confidence that they might be able to do the job.
They came and did the work, and we were absolutely astonished by what they did. So much dust, so much scrubbing the concrete floor! My sense is that this company has extremely high standards for what counts as a great cleaning job, and that they understand what it takes to meet these standards. The quality of work, attention to detail, and sheer amount of cleaning they did were incredible.

We started with Simple Spaces in 2010, and immediately became big fans. It was great working with them, and the folks who came to clean became friends as well as helpers. When they left, the house was gleaming, and we were walking around barefoot because the floors were so clean, sitting there feeling radiant and generally being «close to godliness.» I was a little nervous when the the service merged with Short Stacks a few months ago, but apparently need not have worried. The folks are nice, our old friends on the staff are being treated well, and the cleaning is great. The place glows.

These ladies do a fantastic job of cleaning our house.
After they leave, you can barely tell that we have 275 lbs of dog and two little boys living here.
Hiring Erin and her crew to come tidy up, has been one of our better ideas.
I highly recommend Short Stacks.

Short Stacks cleaning is amazing. Their attention to detail is unlike anything I have ever experienced with other cleaning companies. Their pricing is fair and you definitely get your money’s worth. I signed on for monthly service and it is hands down one of the best things I have ever done for myself/​my house/​family! Give them a try– you will only regret not calling sooner :)

These folks swooped in for us last minute and they were beyond awesome in helping us with preparing for our last minute Chicago open house. They pulled out extra steam mop tricks and just generally rolled up their sleeves with us in more ways than we could have expected. With super amazing attitudes that we so needed and didn’t even know it. Use these good people!

Erin and the Short Stacks team are amazing. I work from home most days and Short Stacks are so quiet while they are cleaning our house, sometimes I don’t know they are here. I like the confirmation of the cleaning appointment to being asked by the owner if there is something or somewhere her team needs to focus on that particular day.
We have been clients since July and looking forward to a long term relationship with Short Stacks.

Short Stacks turned our kitchen from mildly disgusting to brilliantly shining. The staff is personable– like you would want to spend time hanging out afterwards– but they don’t let anything get in the way of doing a thorough, quality job, not even my constant chatting. I love experiences like this because you really get a sense of money well spent, a good job done by folks worth investing in. Short Stacks is great!
