Cathy’s Custom Cleaning

It is disheartening to hear such a negative review about Cathy, Colleen & crew! Cathy and daughters Colleen & Michelle have cleaned my home weekly for the past year! They are one of the most non judgemental people I know! Through all my personal difficulties & remodeling this past year they have been nothing but caring, loving & passionate to my family & I. Not to mention cleaned my home to my expectations (let me just say I am very picky). They are always extremely professional and take pride in the work they do! I would recommend them to anyone. And… touching on the English speaking comment… I was born in Europe & I’m 1^st generation here, my parents both have an accent, but learned to speak the English-​language. They choose to live & work here, so only right that they learn the language. So yes… it is a + when you can speak to someone that understands the English– language! I mean no disrespect to non-​speaking, non-​understanding cleaning companies, I’m sure their ability to communicate has nothing to do with how well they clean, just learn the language!

Cathy Rose, the owner, did an exceptional job on our home. She and her daughter cleaned our house from top to bottom and even included the windows. She admits she’s not the cheapest out there but you definitely get your monies worth. The problem is that Cathy had a problem with the fact that we were a gay couple and made it quite clear that she wasn’t comfortable with it. She also touts the fact that she is English-​speaking, which is fine; however, it’s important not to negate or put down the Polish and Latino workers that do equally good house cleaning that do not speak English. I didn’t have a good feeling after she left our home and I felt like we needed to find someone else that wasn’t so judgmental and close-​minded. We will continue looking!
