Please go here if you want a $ 35.00 «blowout» done on dirty hair! Not washed at all. Just rolled and done dirty and all. When I called around the blowout actually includes as wash and blow dry! This is just so sad. I will not be returning.
You will find in all the complaints against this business that it says false accusation which is clearly a lie! Hard earned 35.00 down the drain! Find somewhere new… We are!!!

I was really disappointed with this place. Went in to get my hair colored and didn’t look any different when I left. Still coughed up almost $ 200 though. Anyway, the next day I went to a different salon to have it fixed for half the price and have never gone back.

The worst decision I ever made was walking into this salon and trusting one of their stylists with my hair.
To preface this, I’m giving 2 stars ONLY because of their sincere effort to right their wrongs.
I explained to my stylist, Natalie, exactly what I was looking for and showed her pictures, and we talked about what the plan was. Blonde balayage for low maintenance highlights and a TRIM ONLY since I am growing out my hair and like its long length. What I ended up with was an actual nightmare. Unlike what balayage is supposed to look like, I had harsh blonde lines straight across my hair, making it look like I had grown my hair out for months and months without retouching. There was also NO dimension to my color at all. Instead of multi-​dimensional color due to the strategic painting technique that is balayage, she painted every single piece of my hair into one solid color and left my roots out. She clearly either has not been trained how to ACTUALLY balayage or she didn’t learn very well. She also does not know how to color blonde hair. The color was an orange, brassy MESS… even AFTER she «toned» it. (And when I came back to have her fix it, she had the audacity to tell me that it was orange and brassy because «some of your hair didn’t want to lift as well as others.» yeah, that’s why you TONE. I’m not even a stylist and I know that.) My haircut was a hack job and NOT AT ALL what we discussed — a trim turned into blunt, terribly cut layers and a face frame that I did not ask for. Back in 2013 I cut my hair into a bob right under my chin… I’ve been growing my hair out since then, and she ruined that in one day. I got home, showered and blow dried my hair to see if maybe it was just the style, and had a meltdown. my hair looked terrible.
I called the salon and they had me come right back in. they could tell I was pretty much in shock from the experience, and did their best to calm my nerves and fix the situation. They softened my roots to blend better with the color, but the color is still 1. not the color I asked for and 2. ONE SOLID COLOR with soft roots. As for the haircut, the damage was already done. I didn’t want any more length taken than already was, but she tried to blend the layers SHE ADDED WITHOUT ME ASKING into my hair.
I have never been more devastated about my hair than I am today. This was a truly traumatic experience. I chose this salon because they have stellar Unilocal reviews… as I said, worst mistake ever.

Thanks Kelsi for a great color and cut. So glad I found you. It’s hard to find a good stylist who can cut thick curly hair. Love how you use the razor on my hair.

Heather cut, colored and styled my hair and did an amazing job. I’m super picky and she didn’t seem to get annoyed. I also have naturally curly hair and she did a good job getting it even which is rare. She also cuts my husbands hair and does a great job every time.

Tried to give zero stars but system won’t let me. I am new to the area and selected this salon based on the positive reviews. BIG mistake. My hair was highlighted around the face but it was faded and growing out so I needed to freshen it up. Little did I know what a challenge this would be. At some point I realized that the original stylist who had scheduled with me after an assessment just days before when She gave me a haircut wasn’t even there and I was assigned to another stylist who simply didn’t even understand what I needed. My dye job was a science experiment gone wrong — my scalp was burning pretty intensely and although the now two stylists weren’t communicating that with me, they were freaked out. It took four and a half hours and the owner was called in and then she called a stylist off of vacation. The owner was very nice and felt bad about the whole thing. She kept apologizing… but the damage had been done. I finally told them just to dye it all the same dark shade but even that was a challenge and they couldn’t do it. My hair is still bad — the front is a really flat shade — — very different from the brown with red highlights in the back. The worst part is the lack of communication and the fact that after all of this nightmare, I still had to pay for the supplies… about $ 40. I am so scared now that I may never try highlights/​bleaching whatever anywhere.

Today I drove from Georgetown Texas down to Schertz to have my hair chemically straightened by Melissa Stout. I love my hair and the way she takes care of it. Four weeks ago I came down to have Melissa highlight and cut my hair because no one does as good a job as she does!!! I will continue to make the trip down here because once you find the magician beautician you have to keep her!!! She also waxed my eyebrows!!! Nothing makes you feel better then being pampered!!! Finally she is very professional and listens to her clients, I know what I was doing to my hair was not keeping it healthy. She recommended product that had my hair looking amazing!!! Folks no matter how old you are she knows all the styles… I recommend you see her… I don’t call her my hair wizard for nothing

I relocated and didn’t have a stylist. Melissa was recommended to me and I was very pleased. I had a cut and color. I was very pleased with the results. I felt at ease with her immediately. She is very current with styles and I enjoyed listening to her recommendations. I live a good distance away but I will make the trip to see Melissa before I go to any discount chain! Heather did my hair and was great! I’m always nervous about trying new salons. I’d recommend her to other people. She didn’t rush and made sure my hair was perfect. Very cute salon and everyone was very nice that I spoke with.

I love going to Cyndi’s Salon and Spa. The girls are all very friendly and it is a cute and relaxing environment with a great boutique inside as well. Kelsi does my hair and I am always so happy with how it turns out. She listens to what I want and always delivers! I highly recommend her to any of my friends. She also does a great job with cutting my husband’s hair as well.

Finally have found someone who always gives me a great haircut! Thanks Kelsi!!! She always listens to how I am looking to have it cut and takes the time to make sure it’s exactly how I expect.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for making my 15 year old granddaughter a very happy young lady! We called late on Saturday afternoon hoping to get her in for hair color correction and cut and you made it happen. The finished look is amazing, looks so natural and she is smiling again. You have a whole host of new loyal customers.

I tried this super cute salon for the first time today. I asked for Heather based on the other reviews. She was fabulous! I have horribly complicated long, thick, stubborn hair. She did EXACTLY what I asked her to do. I absolutely love everything about it and that is saying a whole lot because I am insanely picky about who cuts my hair. She was very professional and friendly. She gave me tips without trying to sell me half the products in the salon (huge plus to me). She could definitely hold a pleasant conversation but was a little on the quiet side, which was ok with me because I was in super relax mode ;) She made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I will definitely be back. Two thumbs up Thanks Heather!

This place is very cute and old fashioned. Got my eyebrows waxed here, I already have a dedicated hair stylist but Cyndi is wonderful with eyebrows. I look forward to trying out their other services.

I had a fabulous hair stylist named Denise Skinner who use to work at this salon and did an amazing job on my hair, and it’s been so hard to find someone with such great experience and talent as hers !!! However when I called back to the salon they told me she was no longer with them. They were not very friendly or helpful with letting me know where she went. They only wanted to refer me to another stylist at that salon. I’m so happy to say that I found her again… Yay !! She is at Salons by JC over by the Forum in Live Oak. I hope other clients of hers will not get the same run around as I did !!!

Heather is amazing! She cut and did high lites on my hair she did an outstanding job! :) she’s so friendly too! Definitely will go back!

Recently moved to the San Antonio area and was looking for a new salon for a new «do.» I’d spent four years having my mid-​length hair chemically straightened, and I was ready to go back to my natural curl. Amy spoke to me about it and listened as I asked about going back to curly and shortening my hair to get it off my neck. I am completely satisfied with the results. Amy did a wonderful job with the cut and walking me through the different options for styling. $ 35 for a cut isn’t bad either, especially with the excellent service provided.

Recently moved to the Schertz area and came to this salon based on other reviews I’ve read on Unilocal.My two daughters had a cut and style with Amy. She did a fantastic job. The salon itself is quaint and I loved it. I’ll be back for myself next time.
