Papa John’s Pizza

I ordered online for carry out yesterday. When I walked in, they said it would be about 5 more mins. When my pizza was ready, the girl opened the top box and I saw that it was not the pizza I ordered. For some stupid reason, there are times when online orders don’t go through. So, someone from the «online» world calls the store and relays the order info. Seems like this would cause a whole lot of problems. Anyway, the manager stepped right up, offered to do whatever to make happy, AND THEY DID! This was the first time I’ve ever had something wrong with my order from PJ’s. By the time I got home and cleared the table for dinner, my corrected pizza was delivered. Now, that’s service! Mistakes are bound to happen but, I gave PJ’s 5 stars because of the way they corrected this one!

Excellent food & fast delivery service! We love their chicken poppers, cheese sticks and pizzas (all pizzas). One of the best pizza restaurants! Papa Johns is our favorite!

I have ordered from this location since it opened, I ordered two pizzas on 8÷13÷2013 put the order in around 11 am. went to sleep because I just got off work. had the order scheduled for 645 pm. 645pm came around the driver got to my house, everything was fine… UNTIL! the delivery driver put the pizza transport box on the GROUND! I know it may not be that big of a deal but when its your food and he pulls it from a box off the ground. that’s not right, its food not trash. I didn’t eat it. I was fucking livid since they messed up other orders of mine in the past. I am upset since I consider myself a veteran PJ customer. I don’t know if I will ever order from them again or not still undecided.

One of Papa John’s takeout locations. Called this location to order a large thin-​crust (about 14 inches) pepperoni pizza for $ 12.99. This pizza was about $ 5 more than a Little Caesars Pizza (same size) and about $ 3 than an Anthony’s Pizza (currently my favorite). We were told over the phone it would take 15 – 20 minutes. I arrived there about 13 minutes later and the pizza was already waiting on the shelf ready for pickup. Word of caution for those who decide to pickup their order – do it quick because this location doesn’t store pizzas in an oven (to stay warm/​hot) if they’re waiting to be delivered or picked up – just an open shelf. The pizza was not very hot when I picked it up and somewhat warm when I got it home – about a 3 – 4 minute drive home. The pizza was pretty good – wouldn’t have expected anything less considering what it cost. On the other hand, I don’t think their thin crust pizza is worth the $ 12.99 – still looked small considering it was a large. Maybe it would have for a normal thick crust. Their thin crust pizzas have to be eaten when they are hot, because the crust doesn’t look good after it gets cold – looks like a think piece of card board. I’ll have to check out their normal crust pizza next time. Still an ok pizza if you don’t have any options in your area. I’m sure Papa John’s has it’s on and off days (like other places) when it comes to pizza making. On this day, it was average for me – maybe a slight advantage over some other places in the area.

Anytime I want pizza delivery, I order from here. Its fast and still hot when we get it. Plus the online app makes it easy to order. Love it!
