Great place for Italian food! You will not be disappointed! The Stromboli’s and calzones are huge! I would recommend this place to anyone!

As a take-out pizza joint, I would rate them 5 stars easily. Great quality pizza at a great price. As a sit down italian resturant it may be less than 4 so I am compromising with my 4 stars. Then again, I only came for the pizza and salad. I really enoyed the pizza. A nice NY style crust. The garden salad was very good with fresh romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and homemade dressings. The restaurant is almost charming, but the red carpet and old paint makes it feel a little more outdated. Kind of has a cluttery feel on the short and smaller tables/booths too. I will be back, but probably only for takeout pizza orders. I think they ought to link up with Old Main Icehouse next door and advertise pizza by the slice over there. Lots of customers hanging out just next door!

The food is great here and the prices are good. The wait staff is very helpful and attentive. The only complaint is that the insides are dingy and out dated. It’s so dingy it’s kinda gross. Other than that, it’s a great place for a family dinner.

This little small slice of heaven in downtown Cibolo is amazing. The service was awesome and the food was a great price. Will be going back very soon

After reading the reviews I expected this place to be more than just average, sad to say I went home disappointed! The service was great, the girl that was our waiter was attentive and friendly(that’s why 3 stars) but the food was just average! My husband had the chicken Alfredo and I had the fried ravioli! Both dishes were bland, the ravioli tasted like rocks. The food is quite cheap so I guess you get what you pay for! I must say the table across the room had a family size pizza that looked quite yummy so maybe we try their pizza sometimes but as for the pasta I don’t think it’s worth a visit!

Family loves this neighborhood pizza place. Service is great too. Hubby loves the Hawaiian style pizza and of course I love the spaghetti.

Zero stars would be more accurate. Never ate here NEVER will. Went in with a friend and sat at the bar/counter to order food to go, and have a drink while we waited. Instead of ordering anything, we sat, completely unacknowledged for at least 10 min. The place isn’t big, and it certainly wasn’t that busy. The staff was folding pizza boxes and completely ignored us. I don’t think I have ever been so turned off by a place ever. Instead we walked to the bar next door, were waited on right away, and called in an order from Plaza Pizza n Wings. So if you’re reading this, in Cibolo, and looking for good food and good customer service DONOT come here!!!

Hands down the best NY style pizza I have had since I moved to Texas. I am so glad I found this place! Service was excellent, and the pizzas were delicious. The prices were very reasonable. They don’t have a full bar but they do have beers on tap. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will most definitely be returning!

Best local Italian I’ve found so far. Always fresh and hot out of the kitchen, BIG portions, really awesome salad dressings(not to mention many choices), and super tasty bread to go with your dinner. I haven’t had anything I have not absolutely loved. It’s a really old building so there’s also a lot of charm surrounding you. Wonderful place.

First visit. We were greeted by a young lady at the counter. She was with 2 other customers but told us to take a seat and she will be with us right away. As an appetizer we ordered calamari and chicken wings. Great starter choices. The calamari was not bad at all. I prefer a lightly breading on my calamari but it was still very tasty. The wings were pretty good too. My husband or deed the Saturday special fettucini alfredo and added chicken to it. It came with a side salad and a piece of bread. They were an excellent choice. I ordered a medium pizza(taking it home) I only ended up eating a slice. It was a lot. The meat galore had so much toppings it filled you up on one slice. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try. Next time. I love this little family own restaurant. 1 star for service 1 star for food(I want to go back and try something new) 1 star for facilities 1 star overall. 0 stars for bath rooms because I didn’t visit and or rate.

All the tables were dirty when we walked in. My son ordered spaghetti with sauce on side. Well it was with a side of plastic in the noodles. I took it back up to the front and no apology or anything, 10 minutes later they brought out new noodles. I ordered eggplant Parmesan, my noodles were ice cold. I again took my food back to the manager again no apology. I did hear her tell our waitress well that table has complained twice so don’t go help them anymore. If she had been helping us in the first place, I wouldn’t have had to get up twice and take my food. Then when we paid, we of course were expected to pay full price and we didn’t tip. Why would we? We got no service! The waitress said wow really we just walked out!

As soon as I walk in to this restaurant I know I’m going to give it 5 stars already” friendly service… etc(you’ll know when you come) & after I tried their food I think 5 stars is not enough! Haha! Mom and pop restaurant like this have to be promote” but not too much tho. cause that’s usually starting point of bad quality…

Good pizza, absolutely horrible staff. I would give a one star if they didn’t make a good pizza. But the staff seems irritated by the slightest things and create an uncomfortable mood for patrons. Restaurant is unkept and dingy. Potential, but obviously poor management.

These clowns don’t know anything about customer service. Can’t keep up with half full house, waited 15 min for a drink refill over 40 min for food other customers waiting longer. Sat several min before being acknowledged after sitting. Staff very overwhelmed on a Monday night. Bad staff, bad management? I don’t know I would not recommend this place.

What ever you do, DONTCOMEHERE! It was so fantastically delicious and quaint. Most certainly my new spot. The waitstaff was great, reasonable prices and the food was amazing. Started with some fried mushrooms that were bursting with flavor. I couldn’t decide on what to get so I went with the manicotti lunch special. A winner all the way. The Marinara was hearty and the pasta was wonderful. I was able to steal a bite of my hubby’s Stromboli and while it would certainly be way past my caloric intake of the day I loved it! The atmosphere was the best. The small restaurant was so cozy and gave you that down home American feel. Loved it!!!

Decent pizza joint. Stopped here to stuff my face after a 40 mile bike ride with a bike club. It seems there was only one person working the register and waiting on tables… so took a while to have orders taken, get drinks, get food… etc — so somewhat frustrating, but felt sorry for the poor girl as it was starting to get a bit busy. Personal sized pizzas and a good enough size to take some home. Reasonably priced, had a slice of stuffed pizza… not bad. I ordered a personal pizza with three toppings — chicken, tomatoes and fresh basil. Red sauce was flavorful and would one back again if around the cibolo area.

Cheap, kinda dirty as in they don’t bus the tables. Food is fine though for the price I am restraining myself from complaining. Bit they forgot our salads, didn’t offer refills, had to go to the counter to ask for our bill. NOT New York style. Well it’s round if that what everyone means by NY style. It’s two thick to be NY style. The slice doesn’t fold when you pick it up no cheese grease. Ehh I stopped caring about this review. If you want cheap semi decent food with really shitty service this place is for you.

First off, Cibolo and Schertz are almost void of pizza places that aren’t big chains and even though the kids love those types, I’m trying to slowly wean them off those and onto more local places. Decided to give Catalano a try after seeing the Unilocal reviews. Called them up and placed our order(cheese/onion and pepperoni/onion/garlic pies); the girl taking our order seem a little frazzled(maybe busy in the restaurant?) as she read back my order then hung up on me without taking my name or number! I called her back and we rectified that issue and was told the pizzas would be ready in about an hour… An hour for pickup? Either they were really slammed or they take their time making those pizzas! Gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited to go pick up the pizzas. Made it to Catalano to pick up the pizzas; there was only one table occupied at the time which made me even more curious as to why it took an hour to get the pizzas(maybe takeout orders like mine??). Pizzas still weren’t done when I arrived so waited about another 10 minutes then was on my way. Pizzas were tasty but they were very haphazard with the toppings; skimped on the pepperoni and way overloaded the garlic(not that big a deal as I like garlic but overkill for my wife). Definitely handmade and I like the NY-style with thin crust and not overloaded with sauce. One side of my pizza crust was burned as well; only affected a slice or two but still, major faux pas. Overall it was an ok experience; maybe we caught them on a bad night but the pizza, even with its unevenness, was much better than anything I can get from the chains. I give them three stars for now but will give them a chance at redemption…
