Love coming here! Their Pizza and Wings are always our first choice when craving either. I’ve introduced all of my friends and even my co-workers to this place and I still have yet to hear someone say that they didn’t want to come back! The Staff is great and very friendly!

If I could eat one thing the rest of my life it would be Plaza Wings. Get the Kurt’s hot with a kick, BAM! Great food served by great staff, What more could you want.

It’s been a year since I ate at Plaza Pizza and Wings. The pizza is good, but not so good for me to go out of my way to eat here. Tonight I wanted something different from my normal go-to restaurants, so I called Plaza Pizza to place a carryout order. That’s when the fun began. «Hello, Plaza Pizza and Wings, how can I help you?» «I’d like to place a carryout order. I’d like a large pizza with one half all meat and the other half…» «Sorry, we can’t do half and half pizzas.» «I don’t think I heard you correctly. You can’t do half and half pizzas??» «No.» “Why not?” «Because both sides of the pizza might not cook evenly.» «But there are at least 4 pictures on Unilocal of half and half pizzas you made for other customers. Why can’t you cook one for me.» «I’m sorry, but we just don’t do that.» «But you do. I’ve seen pictures. Are you saying you don’t do it, or you just won’t do it for me?» «I don’t know what to tell you, we don’t make half and half pizzas because they won’t cook right.» «But every other pizza place in America cooks half and half pizzas. I don’t understand why you won’t do it?» «Because they don’t cook right. Is there anything else you’d like to order?» Needless to say, the answer was no, there was nothing else I wanted to order. I didn’t place an order with Plaza Pizza, and probably won’t ever again place an order with Plaza Pizza. Well, I certainly won’t if I want to order a half and half pizza.

We’ve been coming here since they opened. Kathy, Kurt and their family have poured so much love into this place and it shows in their food. We always order the meat lovers pizza which is fantastic with a fluffy, crispy crust and tons of high quality meats and cheese. We’ve ordered it several times in the restaurant and as take out and the quality never falters. It’s always fantastic. We also generally get the Kurt’s hot wings which are always big, juicy and full of flavor. You seriously can’t go wrong here!

Visited this place for the first time last Sat and the atmosphere was really friendly. We had the Kurts wings and pepperoni pizza. Food was fresh and hot. The Kurt’s wings were prob the best wings I’ve had since moving to Texas 5 yrs ago.

This place is overpriced! The pie was ok the wings were baked and bland. Took the family for lunch needless to say I was not impressed. I live in Schertz and even though this place is closer I’d rather drive to Rays pizza in kitty hawk. Much better pricing and taste.

Plaza Pizza and Wings isn’t easily seen from the street. Look for the sign. Once you find it you’ll see that it’s more a small sports bar than a pizza place but the pizza is definitely very good. But the wings are somethings else. As recommended by everyone else we tried the Kurt’s style which incorporates a unique sweet and tangy glaze that is deservedly the house special and their claim to fame. The wings are meaty and substantial and not unreasonably priced at approximately $ 8 for 10, $ 15 for 20 and $ 22 for 30. Apparently the owner Kurt relocated from Buffalo, NY. That was all I needed to know if he decided to open a wing place! We’ll be back!

Just moved in to the area and my neighbors told me to check this place out. Wow. The wings are awesome. I got a single of the Kurt sauce wings and they were so good! The atmosphere is great, the location is odd but it stays busying. Will definitely be coming back

How does a pizza place run out of dough? I ordered a HOT steak & cheese sub in lieu of a pizza since they were out of dough; the sub was COLD, the cheese wasn’t melted, the steak was cold & had zero flavor & the bread wasn’t toasted. Maybe I don’t understand the meaning of HOT Sub. We also had an order of fried green beans that at best were room temperature. Ordered the chicken wings as well in the hot flavor & they were as bland as bland could be. Very disappointing.

Had take out from here last night. The wings(Kurtz, lemon pepper, and hot) were all excellent. The pizza(meat lovers and Maui) were not very good. It was lacking sauce or something. Will definitely be back for wings but not pizza.

This place was amazing, the staff was friendly, it had unlimited self serving drinks, and the wings are one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re going to order the wings ask for extra crispy! The pizza was also very good it wasn’t drenched in marinera sauce and was very cheesy.

We had the Hawaiian pizza, mango habanero wings and honey mustard wings. Delicious! If you are in the mood for delicious wings look no further! The skin on the wings had a freshly-fried crisp to it and the amount of sauce on the wings was just right. The crust on the pizza was very nice and the toppings were perfect. Not soggy in the middle or overloaded. It’s a little more expensive than the pizza food chains but you are paying for the quality. This is our new go to spot. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

I found this place about two months ago, even though I have lived in its vicinity for years. Their signage and visibility from FM78 is almost non-existent. My tip to you… FINDIT! The 4 cheese steak pizza with ribeye is the best pizza I have had in my fifty years on this planet. Their chicken wings with«kurt’s sauce» are also fantastic. Since finding this place we have been back about six times. Until last night, we had only had the pizza and wings. Last night we forced ourselves to try the sandwiches. My love tried the«stinga», which was cheesy steak nirvana with grilled mushrooms and onions. I tried the«assorted» sandwich, which was a cold sandwich that had ham, capicola and salami with lettuce and tomato on warm bread imported from upstate NY. They were both to die for. Great family owned and operated joint with lots of TV’s for sports watching, and a pretty decent selection of bottled beers. Highly, highly recommend!

Probably the first local restaurant I tried when I moved to the area a couple years ago, and I still frequent this place. Being from another city and having what I assume is a rare area code, they now answer the phone and sometimes call me by name. Am I proud of this? Yes. Yes, I am. The wings are amaaazing. They don’t have a huge list of flavors like the chains but what they do have, they do well. These wings are so huge, too! I’m no wing connoisseur, so I always assumed the wings I had been eating at chains were the«correct» size. NOPE. These things are giant and meaty and delicious. The pizza I’ve had(which has only been your standard pepperoni) was really good, too. They are a really sweet, nice family. I’ve never had bad service here. So where’s that last star? Somewhere in the heavens, looking down on us. My first few visits, I would order the sweet potato fries. Holy hell. These perfectly cooked fries, drenched in butter and honey. My God, they were sheer bliss. But at some point, they took a SEVERE downturn and never came back up, much to my dismay. The last several times I ordered, they were cold, soggy, and plain gross. BESIDESTHAT, this restaurant is still highly recommended. I am holding that last star in my heart, hoping that one day those fries will return to me. In the meantime, I will drown my sorrows in the ginormous wings.

I’m so sorry I didn’t take a picture of the pizza, I devoured it once I got home. I ordered the Buffalo White and it was amazing. I stumbled across this place on a google search, and it sucks that they don’t get as much PR for the food!!! They staff is sweet, their customer service went above & beyond, from the cashier to the cooks. My food was excellent, and I can’t wait to go back!!! it’s a hidden jewel… well worth every dime…

I ordered a pepperoni bacon Pizzia and Kurt’s wings. My order was delicious. Pizza has a nice buttery crispy on the bottom and soft in the middle texture. It was filling and worth the money. The wings was awesome. Make sure you try them char for a additional $ 1. It’s worth it trust me. Staff was very friendly as well as other customers who was dining inside. Make sure you get good direction because this place is hidden off the main road.

I found this local pizzaria shop here on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean and the staff very friendly, which is always a good start. I ordered the Supreme Pizza and House Wings to go and the food came out within 10 – 15 minutes which was great. The wings were great, lots of flavor and generously sized. I ordered medium hot and should have ordered them a little hotter. The pizza was good, nothing out of this world but good. The pizza had big toppings and great flavor… it just needed to cook for 2 – 3 more minutes… the dough was still a little raw. Overall very satisfied with what I ordered and would give them another shot. Great to find a local shop with friendly staff, clean restaurant and good food. Stop in for a treat!

We decided to try this place out recently. It is a small place that you can easily miss if you aren’t looking for it. We walked in and stood by the door because we didn’t know if to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We weren’t standing there a minute before a lady greeted us and told us to grab any seat we liked. There was only 2 tables open(It’s a small place, I didn’t count but I don’t think there’s more than 15 tables). The menus were already on the table so our waitress took a while to come over to us but when she did she informed us that the drinks were self serve and after asking her she gave us her recommendations. We chose the four cheese steak pizza, Kurt’s wings and some French fries for my daughter. We asked for the fries to be out first so we munched on them until our food arrived. The fries were nice and crispy but not salty at all. Good for me but bad for my husband because he likes his fries salty. The pizza was different(had no pizza sauce. Which I should have known since it wasn’t listed on the items and the other descriptions had it) but it was good! I had never had a pizza with no sauce and I was not disappointed. The crust was crunchy like the hubby likes it. We were iffy on the wings because we aren’t huge barbecue sauce fans but since it’s their home made sauce we decided what the heck! They were delicious. The only negative is that we ordered the hot and we didn’t feel they were got at all. But then again, were Mexican so maybe our definition of hot is a little(or a lot) different. Overall, the service was good. Nothing extraordinary but not rude at all either. We had several people come over to is and ask us how everything was and if we were enjoying our food. I kind of liked that the drinks were self serve because I didn’t have to wait around for he waitress to fill our drinks only con to that was that I was refilling mine, my husbands and my daughters drink and we were all finishing our drinks at different times. Sooo I got up a few times, which I didn’t really enjoy.
