Great reception and a great service by Tonya despite the busy, busy Saturday morning. Best was the smiling and the happy demeanor. I have liked the peanut butter waffle the best along with a side of large hashbrowns with jalapeño. Cannot beat that at all. The pecan waffles are good too. One of the best reasons for me preferring this place is that I don’t feel heavy after the breakfast like I do at IHOP. Plus these days, the service at the IHOP on NASA Pkwy is really wanting.

Food was okay, I mean it’s a Waffle House nothing to crazy special about their food. Raisin toast is amazing! Service is a little poor, staff argues with each other and get easily flustered when it’s slightly busy. Very unprofessional and an unpleasant Sunday morning experience.

Our closest Waffle House. Always consistent, always fast, always cooked to order. Love the waffle w/chocolate chips and a hot cup of joe. M usually gets the full eggs, bacon, hash browns, waffle combo. Good, hot food, fair price.

So, I am a Waffle House fan. No, it’s not haute cuisine. It’s not the best food I ever ate. It’s not trendy. It’s not cool. What is it then? It’s decent food at a good price any time you need it or want it. THAT is what makes Waffle House my go-to place, especially when I am doing some«off hour munching». This location is a favorite of ours when we’ve been down in the area cavorting and need to grab some grub. The folks who work at this location are always friendly and seem to have real relationships with their regulars. Late at night, you might see a policeman having coffee and a late night dinner with his wife or a lone security guard getting steak and eggs and a cup of «joe» to go. You might see some kids with pink and purple hair, tattoos and piercings sitting in the corner bobbing their heads to the random Tejano music that the jukebox seems to like to serve up. Speaking of serving up, they do a nice country ham slice here. I will also recommend the blueberry waffle. Now, don’t get yourself all excited thinking of fresh blueberries or warm compote. Nope. You get their usual waffle mix with imitation blueberry chunks. What happens when they cook it is magic. Those chunks that are against the hot iron get crispy and tasty. It’s like a waffle with blueberry flavored candy. Oddly addictive, that waffle. Hub likes the chili there as well. Don’t forget to ask for a vanilla coke. They are yummy. The staff will make sure your coffee cup or soft drink cup stays full and you’ll be able to have a nice chat, if you sit at the bar. If you’re toolin’ thru the area, especially late at night or early in the morning, give this Waffle House a try. You’ll enjoy the late night ambiance and enjoy the food too, I bet.
