I’m so sad this place is closed down :’(it was my favorite place to get phở and the imperial rolls were so yummy and the Thai tea

Parking sucks because it’s the beach. Priced reasonably although more than the one I usually go to. Great service and very quick.

The staff here is always exceptionally friendly and because of that my family and I have become regular customers. The food always comes out tasting consistently delicious and consistency is a big must for me. My favorite dishes has to be the wok tossed noodles, veggie phở, and chicken imperial rolls. This is surely a place to visit

Cute little place on Main Street in Seal Beach. We love Phở so we decided to eat here. Service was quick and friendly. The place was almost clean. The food was fairly priced. They had white wine which is good. The food came quickly. It was hot but it was bland. It just didn’t have the depth that good phở should have. My bowl was 98% noodle, hardly any meat. So, if you like phở and are okay with very little flavor, go to Phở Basil Leaf. It’s a good place and I wish them the best.

Don’t sleep on the calamari or chicken wings just because it’s a Vietnamese joint! They got that ish on point.

This is honestly the best phở place I have ever eaten at. I come regularly because it’s ambiance is nice and homey and the service is great. Their appetizers are great as well. The reason this place is my favorite is because it is simple phō without all the weird stuff you usually get. Although it may not be as «authentic» as others, the flavor is spot on!

Fantastic ambiance. Great locale. Wonderful service. But sadly, mediocre phở. It’s great in a pinch if you’re in the area and need a phở fix, particularly because it’s the only phở joint around! But I wouldn’t chose this over my other favorite phở spots. Extra points for delicious beverages! All the typical Vietnamese fixins, plus a special house basil lime concoction that’s unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Yummy!

This has became mine and my boyfriends phở place. Beef phở and chicken phở are the bommmmb! I recently tried their beef rice plate and when it came onto my table, I was drooling over the fantastic smell! Definitely gobbled that up! Plus, it’s just a chill environment and the customer service is GREAT! always checking in on you to make sure you’re going okay and they just make it very welcoming. Hehh, they kind of know that we’re going to be their regulars!

I would have never thought that I would experience authentic phở in Seal Beach, but this place is legit. I loved that each bowl of phở brought out had steam rising because a warm broth just doesn’t cut it for me. I got the typical well done brisket phở and the BF ordered the chicken phở which he said was one of the best he has ever had. My sister ordered the chicken wings which came out amazing. If I am ever in the area, I must stop by if I’m craving a bowl of phở.

Been coming here for years. By far the best soups I have ever tried. Highly recommend wonton noodle soup and Vietnamese hot coffee. Awesome!!!

Great meal and very pleasant wait staff! I have lived in Seal Beach my whole life and am happy to see this place doing well. I had the pork summer rolls and beef phở. I must say, I was very phở-filled! I heard the Vietnamese sandwich was good, I’ll have to try that next time — I’ll definitely be back.

Came in on a Friday evening @ 7pm, got a table Right away. Sit wherever you like. Service: Overall was alright. The buff Asian guy is super nice and makes it personable with his customers. I ordered Chicken Phở: Gotta tell you, it was tasty and the broth by far was super tasty and full of flavor. Pieces of chicken in the phở/diced green onion & served with Brussels sprouts & basil on the side to add to soup. Bf– ordered Ox tail Phở & it huge bowl. Super full of beef broth and Ox tail w/bone for flavor. Appetizer: crispy wings served with sweet and spicy sauce :) Yes, I’ll be going back.

I ordered the special combination phở(phở dac biet). It was not bad, but I was expecting better after all the reviews I heard from others. Otherwise I love the location, it’s on Main St. right by the pier and the beach. The service was also excellent, very friendly staff. I may or may not come back.

Herro! The audacity they have to call this dish phở. It’s not phở. It’s bland, served luke warm and comes with barely any of the cheap chewy meat they’ve had sitting in their freezer. This place does not serve phở, they serve LIES!

Been coming to phở basil for at least 3 years, but I think I just made my last visit. Got takeaway, pork bun(salad) imperial rolls, beef rice plate– got home to find they left out the dipping sauce for the greasy, non– crispy cha gio imperial rolls. The pork in the salad tasted off– vegetables just not fresh and crisp, which is key to good Vietnamese food, or any food. The brown rice on my son’s rice plate was hard and cold. The steak was dried out, chewy and not cut through, stuck together by the tough sinew of the low quality meat. I think this place has gone downhill to the point of no return. There is so many good Vietnamese places within a 10 mile radius, in this area why bother with a mediocre one.

I used to think this place was ok, definitely a good place to come since it’s the only phở place in seal beach. I had the beef phở. The broth is bland and tastes like tomato juice, nowhere near the flavorful broth they used to have, the noodle to everything else ratio is shameful, you basically just get a bowl full of noodles topped with a suggestion of low quality meat. This place has surely lost its cook, or something must have happened. Such a shame.

Located on Main St. a couple blocks from the beach. Street parking. Good, friendly service. PROs: It’s near the beach and slightly more upscale than other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to. It’s not crowded nor noisy as others. The pork and beef were both very tender in our dishes. CON: The noodles in both of our Beef Phở and our Pork Bun(Vermicelli Noodle Bowl) seemed a bit overcooked and mushy. Also, the phở broth was a little bland. The prices are a little higher than other places, but perhaps it’s because of the location and a little more upscale.

Honestly, just amazing!!! The broth here is on point and the meat is delicious and tender. I love this place. I have had Phở at a few other places and the broth was sub par at best. The service here is also great! They are excited to educate their customers on their offerings. Also, stop being so cheap, the price is not bad at all. They charge a premium because they deliver a superior product in both quality and execution.

I was in the Seal Beach area and wanted Phở. Searched on Unilocal and found this place. I loved it!!! Let me say it again«I love it «.I got the oxtail phở and the portions were enough to feed 2 people. However it was $ 10.00 but it was worth it. I also got the Imperial rolls and it had all the fresh veggies. When I’m in seal beach again, this place will be my «goto» spot!
