not a good place to eat, they did not treat me that good… they did not even bother to ask me for their loaf bread… bad experience with this place…

I would give it 0 stars if it was possible. My gf and I decided to eat here based on the current 4 star Unilocal rating. What a mistake. The service was fine but the food left a lot to be desired, especially at the price. The prime rib was mediocre at best and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. She ordered the«broasted» chicken which came out fried. Nowhere on the menu does it explain that«broasted» actually means fried. I believe it was a safe assumption since it contains the word«roasted» that it would not be fried. The server offered to replace the meal and instead of offering a menu pushed my gf towards the chicken stir-fry. It came out quickly but it appeared to be a premade dish that was just warmed up and covered in sauce. So much sauce that you could not see that there was actually rice underneath the chicken and soggy vegetables. Will not be returning even though the service was good. The food was so bad it is not worth the money or time.

I usually hate food and will never eat unless I’m forced! But this place is good. I will eat now

All the food being served here looked DELICIOUS, however, I was there for a family get together in the bar area and didn’t have room in my tummy for both food and drinks! The service was perfect; casual, friendly and familiar is how I’d describe the servers. They didn’t kick us out after a raucous first night at the bar. Or on our second night either. The Vodka cran I had was just right and the appetizers were a definite preview of how good their entrees must be because we ordered potato skins filled with taco seasoned ground beef and cheese which came with sides of sour cream and they were truly good. How do they make them without all the grease? The beer battered onion rings were down-home good with thick slices of onion in a savory batter and deep fried to yummy perfection. Next time I am out at Seaside I will skip the liquor and go straight for their famous prime rib!

This is a casual, fun and funky place with a western/Big Foot theme. We were in search of good Nachos, and this place did not disappoint. Large portion and very tasty with fresh ingredients. Server seemed a bit stressed and appeared to be the only person waiting tables, but he was friendly and working hard, and we weren’t in a hurry. Basic bar, no frills. Comfortable. We would go back.

Some really good food! Everyone in my family raved about their meals. Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had! Plus, you gotta love the Bigfoot theme

We were very pleased with everything about our visit to the restaurant, from the fun Bigfoot statues that greeted out front us to the service, to the food. I had a ribeye that was tender and delicious, and my wife’s grilled salmon was excellent.

Celebrated my Gmas birthday tonight with my ma at Bigfoots. The food was, as always, delicious but even more amazing was our service. As my mom and I discussed trying to fit dessert into our meal, the waitress came by. She had known why we were there and we explained that my Gma had received 2 free desserts on her bday and that we were trying to decide if we wanted to attempt it. She asked which ones she had, so we told her. When she came back with my mom’s to go box she brought dessert in honor of my Gma. Jessica was her name and had my mom and i in tears for very selfless gesture. What a beautiful soul! Happy birthday Grandma, I thank you for showing us how much you loved the way we honored you through this wonderful young lady! Jessica from Bigfoots: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

I don’t want to be negative and I will say that the stakes are really good and I was drawn in off of the highway by the Bigfoot statue that I thought was funny but it was a little bit dark and dingy inside and overpriced in my opinion but I get it, it’s a novelty restaurant and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from trying it once is just not my cuppa tea.

After eating at Bigfoots on 3 separate occasions(2 lunches and one dinner over the past 6 months) and not ready to write a 3 star review after each visit, I realized that was it and Bigfoot’s Steakhouse was never going to be a stellar 4 or 5 star experience. I originally had high hopes after enjoying tasty clam chowder and fresh halibut fish and chips, that there was a promise here of a great go to place. My next visit was the famous baked chicken.(that left me disappointed while wondering why and who says it was famous?) This visit we were sat at a table that both my chair and table top were sticky with a film or residue that gave me the impression that it wasn’t clean. Its entirely possible the varnish finish was worn out from being wiped down frequently however, this took away my appetite from the moment we were seated. I had not noticed this at other tables here on previous visits.(and no, I have never been germophobic) Table service was good with both water and unsweetened ice tea bottomless and food served with a friendly smile. I ordered the special of the day from the readerboard, a Chilli Cheese burger with onions & fries, The chili was very mild(read this as bland pre prepared Hormel or maybe SYSCO Foods), the onions were chopped green onions and not diced white or yellow(rather mild) and the smothered burger patty was a generous size, but dry and like the chili, tasteless. The entire meal needed salt, pepper, plus some heat! The small portion of fries left me wanting a few more. I will add that the pickle spear was fresh, crunchy & very tasty! I really want to like Bigfoot’s Steakhouse and I am sure I will be back again as there are not many restaurants in Seaside that offer their diverse budget minded family menu. Certainly not a bad experience but nothing to rave about either except the service and maybe that pickle spear! To finish this 3 star review, with a rant, they do take credit cards but don’t accept my American Express card which is ridiculous if they want my business! They need to find a different credit card processor rather than alienate customers!

I have always enjoyed coming here when visiting the coast. they have really good food, consistently. it has a kind of truck-stop feel to it, mixed with a log cabin feel. my favorite is the newspaper article menu they give you.

The prime rib was melt in your mouth good. It could have used a bit of spice, but no complaints. The price was typical, and the décor fun. The service was initially slow, but once it got going everything was very quick, including the arrival of the food.

We come here once a year, service is always great. Food is pretty good as well. However when ordering a steak, you gotta order a step down from what you really want. Ex: if you want medium well, order it medium. If you want medium, order medium rare… etc. The price is average for a steakhouse in the area. The place obviously has a bigfoot, woody theme. Inside is kind of crammed tight and dark. Anytime I ha e had an issue with my order, it was addressed and fixed promptly.

Not a bad stop in Seaside. Overall, the food here is pretty good. The service here was kind of lacking. We were sitting for a good 10 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. For dinner I had the special on the board for the day. I got a sirloin with 3 prawns. The steak was cooked medium and was cooked to order. The prawns were heavily breaded, i almost wish they would have been grilled or panko breaded instead of beer-battered. The steak came with a choice of a side, I chose the garlic mash potatoes which were yummy and some vegetables. Overall, the food was good and cooked well. It is on average ~$ 25 for a meal but you are paying for steak. I’ve been here a few times before, I would probably stop by here again.

This place is incredible! They deal with a lot of people so wait times are longer which is understandable. Food portions are tremendous. My prime rib was thick and unbelievable! Recommend it!

Pretty good! Had a work event here and the had us in a cute room of the main restaurant. The area worked well for the event. The service was good and the Prime Rib meal was delicious! As well as the desserts. Wish I could have enjoyed the cheesecake more, but I was so full from dinner! Nice job!

We didn’t eat here other than the free bar potato chips which were delicious. Great service and friendly staff. Our drinks were super good and strong. Definitely worth our money.

Good food and beer. I stayed at the motel 6 next door and this was very convenient. Too bad it’s closed so early.

This place is really well decorated. The atmosphere definitely matches the name. The food here however is pretty bland. I have the off the bone turkey sandwich. The turkey was pretty dry. Not a good sign for off the bone turkey. My boyfriend had a steak which he thought was good I had a bite and also thought that was under seasoned and a bit fatty. I’m giving this place 3 stars solely based on the garlic mashed potatoes which were a side. They were definitely come back worthy.

I am going to give this place two stars because the service was good and the staff were friendly. The good part stops there. We ordered the«Snow Shoes» which are cleverly named potato skins. The skins themselves were fine, but not sure the taco meat was a good choice. It was greasy and made them kind of mushy overall. Next for the evening was a bowl of clam chowder, I only wanted a cup but my husband wanted some and though we could eat a bowl of it. While it wasn’t bad, it was confused between a clam chowder and good baked potato chowder. I liked how thick it was, but the«clam» part didn’t really jump out. For the main course, I ordered the fish and chips. The portion was a good size, four pieces of fish and plate of fries. Not sure why they give the broccoli salad, although it’s ok, just doesn’t go with the dish. The fries were really good, certainly worth ordering just them as an appetizer. The fish itself was decent, the breading, although it had good flavor was a bit chewy. My husband ordered the«best in town» prime rib. While the cut of beef was fine, the rest of the plate was a mess. I was excited to see the vegetable medley which consisted of cauliflower. I love vegetables and he doesn’t so I knew I would get to eat them. Well, they were beyond disappointing. A pile of mush that had a bizarre flavor. So much so, we left them behind and din’t eat or take them home with the other leftovers. He also said the rice was underwhelming. Also, the prices at this place are way too high for what you get. That’s probably the second biggest reason I am not giving them a better rating. Oh, and the tacky ass lights strung out around the inside make it campy. I get that themed restaurants have some campiness, but really? I think it would tolerable without these. Don’t let the line of unsuspecting folks outside lure you in. It’s not worth it.

Definitiv!
