I have been to the gallery and exhibited 2 of my paintings. However I requested them for volunteering, but I never got a perfect answer. They kept me going round and round. I was depressed for a long time. Its a nice experience for new artists to be able to exhibit without much hassles but not a great experience. I am from a different country and this experience can be only mine, but this is how it was. I am still sad about it.

For emerging artists, this is the perfect gallery to get started at. Anyone can hang, you only have to pay a minor hanging fee, and then your work will be shown in their exhibit for a month. You get a great gallery experience and the staff are easy to work with. Aubry has been my go-​to person who is well-​informed and super friendly and willing to answer questions.

This art gallery is one of a kind. The building itself that the gallery resides in was built back in 1908 originally as a hotel for the Alaskan Gold Rush. Some true history not only in the building itself but also in this Nonprofit organization. October 2013 marked A/​NT Galleries 25th year anniversary! For being run entirely by volunteering artists I’d say that’s pretty good!
Stop on by if you’re an Artist wanting to hang some work or maybe even just an Art lover that wants to enjoy some local art.

Art/​Not is an awesome place to host cool parties! I hosted a birthday party at the Art/​Not Terminal gallery on December 4th. It was a buffet seated dinner for about 50 guests. The guests really dug art and cool spaces. There is the front room which has a featured artist, the middle room has community artists and a curated show downstairs. The venue provided seats and chairs which was one less thing to worry about. Zachary Sofia the art director was really easy to work with and got to the place early so I could setup. I would definitely recommend this venue!
