If you enjoy a treasure hunt, this is the store for you. I purchased a set of fabulous restaurant ware plates here. But to get to them the owner had to move furniture and then let me squeeze into a back corner and I sat on the floor picking through dusty plates until I hit the jackpot. Over the years I have purchased many terrific items here at very fare prices. The owner is eccentric to be sure, as is the store. But it’s worth a trip if you’re willing to dive in.

Love this store. I always find the best gifts here. Reasonable prices; great selection.

I don’t know what to say… I want to like this store but the customer service is downright awful. The owner is simply not interested in assisting customers and you get the sense you are bothering her by asking questions. This was my second time shopping the store and both times I was told the item I was inquiring about was not for sale. Would have been nice if this was simply marked. There is a good mix of old stuff but use caution navigating the store! I felt like had to suck in and hold my breath trying to shimmy through the isles. Also, mind any large purse or bag, could easily knock something over if you’re not aware… tight turning radius required. Fortunately, I managed to emerge without toppling any display. Prices seem a bit inconsistent. Would not venture back to this store after my recent experience.

Lovely spot — mis-mash selection of items, the store is completely jammed with stuff… of note: walking about is a tricky endeavor, be careful or you’ll knock stuff onto the ground. The prices seem scattered, but generally reasonable. The staff weren’t interested my partner & I when we walked in this afternoon. We were in the store for a solid 10 minutes, walked all around, looked at items, talked about items out loud, and the two people working didn’t greet us, talk to us, or say goodbye when we left. I may be back for that new Le Creuset orange & grey wok, but it certainly wouldn’t be for the service. I live right around the corner, and the usually owners seem nice enough — maybe this wasn’t quite their day.

I stopped in here today, very cute unique stuff(like non-repro you’d see in Domino or maybe Martha Stewart). Not super expensive either, I wish I’d been here before I blew all my money on Ikea crap… I will definitely be going back. Also had some pretty fun clothes if you like schmancy vintage.

This place is a treasure trove for those of us who love old silver, crystal, pottery and glass! When I walked in, I literally started snatching and hoarding all these beautiful crystal punch bowls. Wow. What a selection!!! Beautiful, elegant, well-preserved pieces. I was a kid in the candy store. On top of it, prices were reasonable and five huge crystal bowls later(yes, five), I realized I had to stop somewhere. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they both were a pleasure to deal with. They also have a great selection of old flatware — elegantly arranged in «spooners» and celery vases, some books, paintings, a very good selection of lamp bases, clothing and furniture. I really hope the owner will sell me some of those celery vases… Garden roses and any sort of flower or small branch look unbelievably quaint and elegant in those simple but perfectly proportioned vessels. Last night I gave all my crystal bowls a good bath, put some ferns in them, put them in my living and dining room and they look like a million bucks. Something out of the magazine! My friends will probably think that I spent tons of money on them… LOL I will treasure these pieces for a long time. I am planning on making many trips to this store and I am very glad I found it! If you are in the neighborhood, stop by this little gem of a place and buy a little something that will make your house more of a home.
