Cute little place at the base of Tower 801. Try it! Atmosphere 4⁄5: Recycled wood/industrial interior with lots of counter seating and a few comfy chairs. There is power available at each of the end barstools as well as one of the comfy chair groups. Sitting and looking out the windows on a rainy day is a delight. Music selection varies between entertaining, ambient, and annoying depending on the mood of the barista, but I’m sure they would be more than willing to turn it down/switch tracks if TV jingles from the 80’s aren’t your thing. Personally I think it lends a good quirkiness to the place. Service 5⁄5: Great recommendations, very knowledgeable about the different coffee blends and very personable. When someone enjoys what they do it shows — having fun at work in a way that is still professional and includes your guests is always awesome. Coffee 4.5÷5: I need to try a few more espresso drinks as I’ve only had the drip blends so far at this location. Each was as described, some better than others. I tend to enjoy the blends more than their single origins as they are specifically blended for flavor.

Better than Starbucks. It is what it is. — — — The single origin coffee always seems to be out when I stop-by. I get tired of: Can you wait 5mins so I can brew another pot… No I can’t wait for your display of poor planning or frugality.

Went here for a quick pick me up & I got their caramel latte. The coffee was tasty and fulfilling which helped me throughout the day!

Okay so… the coffee is delicious. Really really really top notch. I make it a point to stop here every time I go to the Paramount so I can relax a bit before heading into the theatre. It’s necessary after fighting six thousand people in the various parking lots or racing down to Seattle on the 554 from Issaquah. The only issue here is the space inside… there are about ten seats. Which is fine in any cramped Seattle space, but this is a different circumstance than your usual coffee shop. Although I’m kind of just complaining for the sake of complaining because really, there isn’t anywhere for them to expand. Props on their staff too, I ordered a macchiato and the guy looked at me and kind of whispered to me that if I wanted the sweet Starbucks type of macchiato, that ain’t it. He then proceeded to make me a magical latte type thing that I still cry about at night.

Americano was good, asked for a small in a large cup because I like to add a lot of milk, but didn’t get it that way. Batista was friendly and seems like she knows most of the customers and what they want to order.

PAX attendee here(yeah, yeah, I know). I’ve been coming to this place ever since we started going to Prime, and I look forward to it every time. I get cravings for these lattes when I go home, and I even tried ordering a bunch of coffee to make up for it when I was back on the east cost. Didn’t work as well as I hoped — though still very delicious coffee — but that’s what having a great espresso machine and knowing how to use it will do for you. Pastries are good as well — I’ve had pumpkin bread, blueberry scones, and chocolate muffins, which I’d all happily order again. The lattes are just the perfect amount of sweetness, and even the flavored ones don’t mask the excellent taste of the espresso. I haven’t been in an adventurous enough mood to try anything beyond the lattes, cappucinos, or chai tea(all excellent), but maybe fourth year is a charm. Either way, the drinks are consistently what I remember them to be, and the service has always been excellent — especially during the crazy rush PAX brings to this place. I’ve been roasting my own coffee and doing a bit of experimenting with brewing methods, and I may just ask for the barista’s favorite next time I’m around. Travelers, do yourself a favor and stop by if you’re in the area instead of a Starbucks you could get anywhere. You won’t be sorry. (And yes, be ready to order! It’s a coffee shop and they’re busy. Be courteous and hang back out of the line if you need a few, because they do ask for your order a few places before the cash register so they can get your drink started and have it ready when you pay.)

Coffee just ok and pricey when you realize they’ve sized down all the drinks compared to most coffee shops(only available in 8oz, 12oz, 16 oz). Pastries were very good but not labeled, so you had to guess what they were based on appearance. I thought I was getting a chocolate muffin, but it turned out to be a chocolate raspberry brownie — a much denser breakfast than expected. Nice, speedy barista.

The Great Pumpkin latte is BOMB! When I went I originally ordered an iced tea, which I wasn’t so much of a fan of(it was very bitter). The barista was so sweet and gave me the latte for free after I told her. Love the staff, great customer service and wonderful coffee. Will pass on the tea but I’ll definitely come back for another coffee!

Pretty legit spot. The guy behind the counter was pretty cool and super friendly. Made a hell of a coffee as well. My girl and stopped in today while out and about walkin around the city. Great little shop to take a break and recharge.

I’ve been to two of these over the years when visiting Seattle. Decent coffee, decently prepared. WiFi. The one on Capitol Hill seems a touch better in coffee — must be the baristas. The one on Pine is still Better Than Starbucks, but doesn’t have as relaxing an atmosphere and seating — plus hard surfaces reflect sounds annoyingly. Still, it’s a default go-to until I find something special.

Came to use the wifi, bought coffee and wifi didn’t work on 3 different devices. First they said it’s fine everyone else is using it, nobody was and it obviously wasn’t working. Then they said it was«the storm», there was no storm. They just couldn’t be bothered to reset the router. Very poor customer service :(

Our hotel was right across the street from Caffe Ladro. Was here everyday for my morning Americano during our five day stay in Seattle. My Americano was smooth, delicate, and flavorful. The staff were always welcoming! Will definitely return whenever we are in Seattle, forget Starbucks!

Seattle is home to the second best coffee on the west coast. Portland obviously has better coffee overall. But there are some standouts in town. Ladro finds itself in the upper echelon of solid coffee, but maybe not quite to craft-coffee standards. Ladro is easily on my list as a good go-to spot for espresso drinks. While I might favor Vivace or Victrola or one of the more premier shops when I want to geek out, Ladro gets the damn job done, and they do it well. Solid, tasty joe served up with a smile. Bonus points because when I was in this location the other day Eazy-E was on the hi-fi. BOOM!

Sought out a Caffe Ladro near our hotel since I heard from a friend and local that they served great coffee. Indeed they do! My almond latte was excellent. The service: not so much. It was only one male working and he wasn’t pleasant at all. Made the experience quite crappy, but at least my latte tasted delicious.

Ugh I’m so happy. I ordered the Medici(yes, you have to) — it’s got orange zest in the bottom. The location is right next to the Grand Hyatt on Pine so it can’t be more central. The décor is sleek. The baristas are awesome and love to sing along to the music(which is in great taste, they love Studio Killers and Glass Animals. what the hell) Come here! Come NOW!

Stayed at the paramount and was my first stop when I got in. The baristas are awesome and coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted. I visited four times in the two days I stayed there! Brava!

My first time at caffe and not the last! I ordered a 12 oz Americano. It was one of the best one I’ve had. A nice layer of foam then topped with half half(no sugar) gave it a perfect taste. Pop music playing(not too loud) creates a good combo of study/relax atmosphere, so unless you want to sip you Kawa in quiet you will enjoy it. :)
