The staff seem somewhat irritable on day to day basis although it is never busy. I ordered the simplest drink, an earl grey tea latte. Milk, tea, vanilla syrup. The staff member first got it wrong then told me I ordered wrong, and when I wanted it corrected using the already made tea he still made it wrong. I don’t like asking people to throw something salvageable out of courtesy to them so I would expect him to do me the courtesy and make it correctly. All I wanted was an earl grey tea latte without the sass.

I patron this starbucks often as it is in such a good location and it has an evenings menu. Although, I do prefer the more grungy bar scene Seattle specalizes in, you can get some of those golden stars here! I am at least 5 year+ gold member and a partner with the company for almost over a year. The evening crew is great here! I wish i could give them a separate review However, I just received some of the worst experience. Free drinks, are free drinks and yes a lot of guests go a little nuts with the order. I ordered a very fruity smoothy — adding in blueberries, which are traditionally an oatmeal topping. Somehow this ONLYAVAILABLE in VENTI size drink came as a grande beverage with some room on top… I complained, and the silly Partner made up some«evolution smoothie» excuse. She refused to help me… very disappointing experience, as I’ve learned as a partner that if the drink is wrong, we fix it. I wanted to tell her to just go read the recipe book and I would wait — i figured I wouldn’t ruin her day like she did mine. Good Job Partner, you’re terrible at your job.

Typical Starbucks, but it’s nice to have one that is attached to your hotel for an early morning coffee run. This location is huge and has plenty of seating. Since it’s also accessible to the street, it’s quite busy but my order was made quickly.

To be truly honest, I was never a big fan of Starbucks, I occasionally had a cappuccino or Matcha soy latte. I’m hoping that it is just my imagination, but this Starbucks offers a different kind of grandiloquent yet genuine aura and actually coffee tastes better. If every Starbucks maintain the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm, this roaster may really change the world.

It has great selection of merchandise and fast and friendly service. Kids were a bit noisy but I liked the overall atmosphere.

I don’t understand all the hate on the customer service here. I have had them mess up before & they just remade the drink, and I took the mistaken one to a coworker. They’re always friendly. I work literally across the street @ GameWorks and I have never had a problem here.

Conveniently located downstairs of the Grand Hyatt Seattle. I wish I had found out about this location sooner, since I had been making coffee in the room using the provided coffee machine and complimentary coffee, and although the it was free and the coffee was okay, I would have preferred to spend a few dollars to get delicious coffee right downstairs, especially since I was on vacation. My BF and I for some reason didn’t realize that there was a Starbucks so close until our last morning. We even walked outside the hotel and around the corner to the Starbucks, and after we got our drinks, I walked on the other side of Starbucks and realized that it was connected to the Grand Hyatt, and was right next to the guest elevators. I felt pretty silly that I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for three nights, and didn’t realize their was a Starbucks downstairs until my last morning. At least the Grand Hyatt will be my go-to Seattle hotel, and now I have this valuable information. Basic Starbucks, but what stood out to me was that when I asked for 1%, they said they don’t have it but the barista making my drink said he could make it by mixing up the 2% and nonfat. Such a simple thing for him to do, but such a big indication of great customer service in being creative in making the customer happy, which I most certainly was with the delicious drink that was made! :)

As a Seattle local, I frequent many Starbucks around the city and this one is probably my least favorite. I park on Fourth and Union, and walk yo the convention center for work and, I must say, I walk past roughly four other Starbucks coffee shops along the way. I go this one, because it is the most convenient. I go here five or six times per week. I spend way too much money here. During every visit during the last week, I have been pushed into an awkward morning conversation, while waiting in line by some employee asking why«nobody is happy today?», I have been handed the wrong drink, waiting over 20 minutes for a sand which, over charged for a drink(I get literally the same thing everyday, so the price should be pretty consistent) and given a cup that was barely ¾ full. I’m glad I pay $ 5.00 for a 12oz cup with only 6oz of liquid in it. I realize ounces are difficult for people in this could try, but all you have to so is fill it up. Word of advice, give the customers what they pay for, or you will lose them. Many large, globally recognized companies have fallen, because they forget that simple task. I don’t need to have a conversation with you in the morning, I can’t too you anyways, just don’t overcharge or short my drink.

Wow. Just. wow. When you go to a Starbucks the main discerning factor is customer service. I mean, everything else is prescribed and trained. We went there just after a show, and not realizing it was a few minutes before closing. I needed to use the restroom, and evidently they share their restroom with the hotel next door. I asked for the«key» and was told the«gate» to the restrooms were closed for the night and I would have to leave and walk around to the hotel to use their restroom. Not only that, we felt the employees were kicking us out. Now, we didn’t realize that it was closing time, but really. Typically what employees should do is lock the front door, do their cleanup, and accommodate their current guests for at least 10 – 15 minutes while they clean up. We did not intend to stick around, but don’t make us feel like we are overstaying our welcome when the minute hand hits 12. I appreciate the hard work that Starbucks employees do, especially with late shifts, but at least they should be able to unlock a door upon request.

Starbucks is Starbucks, for the most part, but this has been my favorite Starbucks in the downtown area for at least ten years. It’s large and there’s a good amount of seating. It’s just across the street and around the corner from the Convention Center, so it’s a usual stop for me when I’m at a convention. While it gets very busy, the lines here are still shorter than the Starbucks/Tullys/whatever it is now inside the convention center itself. I also think it’s really cute how they have special drinks and signs for whatever convention is going on like PAX, Emerald City Comic Con, or Sakura-Con. The restrooms are inside the connected lobby of an upscale hotel, so it’s always amusing to watch the reactions of business travelers and tourists to the throngs of cosplayers.

Very nice Starbucks. It’s huge and has a lot of seating, and this location has a lot of merchandise that I haven’t seen at other stores near my home. The employees just couldn’t seem to care less about smiling or making conversation, so my time spent interacting with them was just awkward. Everything came out perfectly though, so I guess I can’t be too mad.

I’m right between two different Starbucks, each less than a block away because this is Seattle, and this is my go-to store. Friendly staff and less crowded than the other one j could visit. They seem to have some new people lately who forget some minor customizations. However, we’ve all been the new guy before, so I can forgive it and move on.

I don’t usually stop by starbucks but that Kong frappé caught my eye! Delicious!!! It’s Java Chip, espresso, bananas, and toffee caramel. :) It’s a really good combination. Except it’s like $ 5.75 for a tall after tax. I’d get the grande to be honest. Haha. Check them out! Kong Frappé only for PAX weekend!

Always friendly. Always consistent. I love that this location has couch seating to spare and a plentiful stock of ALL the breakfast items– even at 11am on a Sunday. Added bonus: the music being played is better than most! NYC Deli Market is right next door, so grab your favorite tea or coffee, then head next door for amazing sandwiches and cookies!(My favorite marriage-of-indulgence is a chai tea latte and a macadamia coconut cookie with a side of Moroccan smile)

Quick and efficient this is exactly what one wants from a Starbucks. Never once has this location confused my order and the staff always seems pretty happy at this location. Additionally, I have had a least one nice calm moment reading near the big window during the rain. Moreover, this Starbucks always supports the gamers when PAX rolls into town. Last Prime they even offered a Ms. Pac-Man Frappuccino!

I usually come to this Starbucks when I am attending some type of event at the Convention Center in Seattle. This store is generally packed and they do a fabulous job of keeping up with orders. They are really friendly and engage their customers. We visited again this year during the Emerald City Comicon, the employees were wearing super hero capes, so cute! They even had special drinks available in recognition of ECCC. My daughter was dressed up in a unique costume and the Barista recognized her and wrote her character name on her drink, she loved it! The drinks were perfect, as always. I love supporting Starbucks since they are a local company. Even if they are a huge corporation, the employees always go the extra mile to make customers feel special.
