This is a humble grocery store, but there is a lot to like about it. I mostly come here to get herbs, fruits, and vegetables, with the occasional can of coconut milk or bottle of fish sauce. Those herbs? It’s usually a buck, and you can get a big handful of basil — if you buy basil at Safeway or QFC it’s just a ripoff. Limes, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery and lettuce are always priced well too. The owner /manager is a super friendly guy, and treats his customers very well. The building has bare concrete floors and the place isn’t appealing to the eye, but the payoff is much better prices… pretty much the business formula for an asian grocery.

This is like a hole-in-the-wall grocery store. I love how nice the owner was! I just bought some papayas, which were mediocre, but i managed to make some good papaya salad with it. I also had their vietnamese dessert, aka Nam Wan. It was pretty good. So it’s a basic grocery store, pretty good, and cheap. I love it! I would definitely come back!
