Best corn ever! We visited from California, and you can’t find corn this good in LA. Loved it!!! Will look for this place again if I am in Seattle area.

Everyone needs to gather up $ 2.50 in change and try the Mexican Corn. It brings me back to my middle school days when I lived in SoCal. Everyday after school, the corn lady would sell these magical creations in a cart and now. I can finally have it again. So simple but soo good! I think its literally corn on the cob, light mayo, lemon juice, mexican cheese & chile powder but I swear they put crack in it cause its addicting. Kidding, obviously. Pair it with a mangonada and you’re set.

Decided to try them out since hubby has driven by this place before and after seeing reviews and a friend mentioning of the mangonada, it was a must. As another reviewer commented and I agree to the dot. Corn was eh, over cooked in out opinion. Got the American which is your basic butter salt n pepper. Got the mangonada and at first it took a while to get use to. By the end hubby and o adored it and is craving some more. The flavor combination of the salty, sweet and spice was to perfection. My favorite part was the mango and the tamarindo candy on the straw. We both wished the drink was slightly more mango-y.

I honestly try to stay away from this place because once I start, I CANTSTOP. This corn stand is freaking amazing!!! I always get Mexican style in a cup. For some reason I think you get more bang for your buck if you get it in a cup haha. They sell mangonadas here which are heavenly especially on a summer day. It’s basically mango purée with shaved ice and syrup. This stand, paired with the taco truck like five feet away? The dynamic duo.

Not long after we first moved here someone was trying to tell me about this place but I thought she was talking about somewhere completely different and well, I gave up on trying to figure it out. Big mistake. Huge! Today I was looking at an article about White Center and there it was! Of course I immediately grabbed the bf, got in the car and drove there to eat at this elusive corn stand. Holy cow, do I love this [cash only] gem! I will absolutely be back to eat more corn and maybe even a mango or a shaved ice. Being that I also wanted to get tacos from La Fondita #2, I had to slow it down and just get the corn, but that just means I’ll be back. Fast, easy, and friendly — this place is super great!

Came here on a hot day and got the mangonada. The mangonada consists of shaved ice, mangoes, mango syrup, tamarind candy and tajin seasoning. I have never really liked the tajin seasoning in candy or drinks before but the mangonada here makes the seasoning very bearable to me. I wouldn’t say this drink is refreshing but it was very satisfying on a hot day. All the flavors in this drink works well together. The shaved ice was kind of hard to break apart but its doable. The only thing that would’ve made this drink better is if they would add more mango syrup or mangoes to make this drink more mango-y. I hear their corn is really good too so try that too! The area is slightly sketchy though so be careful.

It has become more and more difficult to avoid this spot whenever we venture out here! It’s located on the corner of an intersection, and right next to the La Fondita #2 taco truck, which by the way, is another fave spot of ours! The place takes cash only, so be aware if you plan to visit, which you should! I believe they are open until about 10pm most nights, though when I’ve been here it’s generally the weekend. How can corn be so amazing you ask? Allow me to paint a picture for you: it’s corn on the cob with mayo, cheese, chili powder and lemon, mixed together in a cup for easy eating! Your perfect to go snack, right?! :) There are other options you can choose from, but I feel this one is the bees knees. And a perfect complement to some tacos from just next door! :)

Thank you Unilocalers! This is delicious And spicy! I could’ve eaten 4 ears I think. West Seattle street food is a new adventure for me and this will definitely be a regular stop. This cost $ 6.50, you can have the food wrapped or not and you are given plenty of napkins and a fork. I learned a new way to deal with a mango and I got to choose my own mango(they’re the big ones)! There is shaved ice here also and there are about 8 flavor a to choose from. I’m stuffed. Ate all the corn and about ½ the mango. I’m glad I chose spicy

I am so in love with Mexican corn. It’s so simple but can be messed up. The lady serves it on the cob or you can have the kernels cut into a cup. Dressed with mayo, Mexican crumbly cheese, spice, and hot sauce… I’m drooling as I’m writing this. Give it a try!

My first time having a Mexican corn on the cob and it was absolutely delicious! It came with mayonnaise, butter, Chili, and parmasean cheese. It was a hot mess eating it, and I ended up looking like the Joker from batman after eating it but I totally didn’t care! There were other types of toppings like the African corn with Chili and lime, but the classic Mexican is my personal favorite. $ 2.50 for a corn on the cob and it’s cash only. Area is sketch so consider it a pre-warning!

Probably the mose addictive corn I have ever tried. Period. That goes for any corn served in a restaurant and food stand. They also sell bootleg DVD’s, onion chips as well as Mexican candies. By I’m sure people come here for the corn! Always a mini line of 2 – 3 always when I come here. Regardless of the time. All time favorite is the mexican version. Mayo, Chili powder, cheese with some lemon. Extra chili powder of course. Not the best location because of the reputation of the area but if ever in the area, definitely go here.

I’ve tried Elote high and low around the area. And this is hands down the best in town. They have many different styles(ingredients) to add to your corn and if you don’t want it right off the cobb they will cut it off and into a cup for you to try as well. Not only that they also have mangoes prepped the same way. The corn is always fresh and they are always so damn amazing! I love this place!

Best Elote in Seattle!!! I have searched far and wide. This is the only place that’s close to the ones I’ve had in Oaxaca. I love their corn! I go there every time I’m in that area. Definitely worth going to!

Proletariat Pizza says it put White Center on the map, but I deep-down believe that it was this Mexican Roasted Corn Stand! No one can resist a down-to-earth«elote,» no matter who you are! I had been searching near and far for some Latinos here in Seattle and finally hit the spot. All this time they have been hiding in White Center and South Park. Squatting in the parking lot of an Asian produce market is the infamous corn stand. Here’s how it works: –Pick up cash from an ATM(Cash only!) and pull your car into the lot during their business hours of 10 am — 10 pm daily –Decide whether you want an ear of corn or shaved corn in a cup. –Choose a size. –Make your corn«pop» by giving it an ethnic twist and flavor: –American: Butter, salt, black pepper –Mexican: Mayonnaise, powdered cheese, chili powder, lemon juice –Asian: Plain –Central American: Mayonnaise, powdered cheese, mustard, ketchup, chili powder –African: Lemon juice, chili powder, salt Side note: I personally found it funny that the Asian is plain. –Enjoy/Disfrute! –Warning: The powdered cheese is crack because you will find yourself craving more corn and returning. If you’d like porn, I mean CORN, and a movie, they have a selection of burned DVDs for sale too.

Never has an ear of corn tasted so good! Sure, they have a few seasoning variations to choose from, but I recommend the«Mexican» and make it spicy! Hot out of the husk and made to order, this humble stand delivers the good stuff. Cash only. $ 2.50 each.
