Mann’s Welding & Trailer Hitch

These guys are trailer wizards. I brought them the back half of a pickup I needed wired to tow and they made it work! I had to call to get updates but they were super helpful. I told them the wrong type of electrical connection and they fixed MY mistake same-​day. I’d use them again.

I was looking for an installation of a 1 ¼″ receiver hitch for my 2013 Kia Soul. Read good reviews on this page, so I chose to pay about $ 40 more than the lowest estimate I found. The installation and transaction were flawless. Jim and staff were courteous and very knowledgeable, following through on every expectation regarding the pricing, scheduling, and wait time.

Thank goodness a friend referred me to Mann’s. The Toyota dealership quoted a ridiculous price to install a hitch. Mann’s did it two days before Christmas, for a fair price, and were so nice!

Great advice and a great price. The guys at Mann’s were helpful, informative, and they did the work I needed at a great price. They advised me on what needed to be done now for safety, and what could wait for later. I’m definitely going back for all my trailering and welding needs.

I had Mann’s install a hitch on a late-​model Audi Q5. They did a really nice job, and I felt like the price was quite reasonable compared to the much more expensive factory hitch.
Tim was at the front desk, and he was super-​friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely go back.

Every time I have gone to Mann’s Welding in north Seattle, since the 1980s to April, 2014, they have done me right — excellent, diligent work for a very reasonable price.
In 2013, they modified an aftermarket hitch for my 2007 Prius as it was «drooping» and not well secured to keep it horizontal — the hitch had come loose while towing my small inflatable boat (the Prius will tow up to 1,000 pounds). Mann’s added another support to the hitch, which raised the hitch to horizontal and also made it much more secure. No more problems!
An accident totaled that Prius, so I bought another 2007 Prius. They installed my hitch very securely, diligently, and, again, for a very reasonable price of $ 98.00. Mann’s can be trusted to be diligent, do work properly, even overkill in my case, since they modified my hitch to make it much more secure without charging extra, and I believe their prices are very reasonable, probably more so than the competition, so you can choose them with confidence. I drove from Snohomish to Seattle rather than go to a local shop as I knew I would not go wrong with Mann’s in Seattle.

A terrific best customer experience you can imagine. I recently purchased a Fiat Abarth. Since i didn’t want to use a roof rack I decided to install a trailer hitch. Found one that was made for my new car by Curt Mfg and it looked pretty easy to install. After thinking about doing the install myself, I thought I’d see what a local installation shop would charge. The first two places I called were Curt «Platinum» dealer and close by. One quoted $ 90 for the install if I purchased the hitch from them. When I said had already had the hitch, the install price went to $ 180. 2^nd place was $ 180 also. The Curt website indicates it should take 30 – 60 minutes to install. I was just about ready to install myself but thought I’d try a «Gold» dealer. Called Mann’s and I have to say they have the absolute best customer service in the Seattle area. No complaint about where I got the hitch, just quoted $ 90 and when I arrived for my appointment they were personable, friendly and timely. 1 hour later I left a very satisfied customer. Tim and his team offer great service and attention to detail. I highly recommend them for any of your welding or travel equipment needs. They will be honest and fair with any service they provide.

Well I don’t know anything about towing or trailers. But they do a great job welding on hitches and fixing trailers. And they can help a noob through it. We’ve had two hitches attached to the most unlikely cars (a Mazda and Honda subcompact) and they did it without a hint of sarcasm. After all the average car there could put a Honda in the pickup bed :-)
And when we had issues with our boat trailer, they reattached the runaway chains, fixed the brake light and adjusted the ball for $ 30! So they are honest brokers too,

It never ever works out like this and I think sometimes it could! Brought my motorcycle trailer in because the brake lights and tail lights quit working. As I was talking to the gentleman at the counter, a technician walked outside looked it over and came back asked for my keys and 10 minutes later the problem was fixed (2 tail lights) and it was cheap! These guys rock and have my business for life.
