Sloooooow! Big line, only one person working! Can hardly wait for $ 15 minimum wage! Will definitely see more of this as businesses force to cut back:(

The workers here are pretty friendly and they are fast and efficient at what they do. The food is good, I notice that the vegetables looked fresh which is also a plus seeing that from some of the other branches the vegetables looked old. The shop itself is pretty clean and there’s lots of seatings. Overall this subway satisfied me and I would definitely return!

Greatest place in seattle. Outside eating, inside watch seahawks on big tv. Best food served. Got hot soup on those cold days. Perfect for breakfast sandwich with hot coffee or coco. Employees there are awesome. Best Catering around and they deliver. Thank you for being in the area.

820PM, October 2nd2014: My sandwich artist was great. As I sit here, enjoying this sandwich, I am reminded of his cheerfulness, and openness. Before my sandwich was placed in the oven, he asked if I wanted anything else on it. No one ever does that!!! Great way to spend a couple bucks. Subway on Alki

The service here was getting much better. I am a local and we stop by here a few times a month. Today, it was a nice day on Alki and the store had only one staff member! If you are going to run a business on Alki, you need to know that when the weather turns for the better, folks flock to Alki. If you want to stay open — start hiring more staff ASAP. The poor gal working the line was stressed to the max but she did her best and moved people through. I really felt for her — she gets 5 stars and the owners get 1 for being so shortsighted!

I think of the 425 reviews I’ve done so far maybe 6 have been for fast food. Fast food is what it is and and you either like or don’t like a certain chain with minor variations of service. Subway is pretty much the only fast food I eat on a regular basis; I just don’t like most of the other processed junk that other chains serve. This location is close to home, fairly quick and consistent. I mainly wanted to write this review to praise one particular«sandiwch artist» whose name I unfortunately don’t know. But he’s often by himself and even when slammed is polite, quick and friendly. He never rushes anyone and always apologizes for the wait. The staff in general here is also good.

I feel kind of dumb giving a Subway five stars, but it’s working for me as a Subway. So, you know, it’s not gourmet food, but it’s been a good location for us so far. It’s right on Alki, which I know is going to be a hit during the summer. Right now, during the non-beach season, it’s super, super quiet. And they have free wifi, and unlimited refills on sodas, so it’s a great place to bring a laptop or book and work or study or just look across the street at the water and chill. Since Subways are franchises, the owners and staff can vary from location to location as to how easygoing they’ll be. At this one, they’re really nice and will listen to your requests. For instance, my kids like to order BLT sandwiches in the kids’ meals, which isn’t a thing.(Why isn’t that a thing? I don’t know, but it isn’t for the kids’ meals.) They’ll just give them that and ring it up as a turkey sandwich, saving me some bother and drama. They let me choose spinach only, or a mix of spinach and lettuce for my salad, and they’ll chop parts of it or not as I request. There are some elements that could stand some finessing. For instance, the staff sometimes seem a little uncertain about how salads are made, but they’re getting better, so I didn’t dock a star for it. I knew they just needed some time and more training. Plus, this store always seems to be out of the apple slices for the kids’ meals, but whatever — my kids won’t eat them, anyway.(How do you like them apples?) Speaking of kids’ meals, it’s a nice deal: mini-sandwich, apple slices(or…you know… not), big ol’ chocolate or regular milk or small juice box, plus a cute little bag. My kids always have to throw in some chips, too, because that’s how they roll, but it’s not that much extra. The place is clean, and the bathrooms are, too. And did I mention quiet? Gosh, it’s quiet. So, pull up a chair, grab a gooey chocolate chip cookie, get a refill on your soda, and enjoy the view.

It’s a Subway, which is always the same wherever you go. 1 staff member, only one in the restaurant which surprises me for being 11:45 am.
