Walked into this place looking for warmth and a Happy Hour #drink. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is laid back yet sophisticated; feels like you are stepping back in time to an era long gone. The drinks on the menu are remakes of the classics. And customer service is excellent. I Who knew there are so many different choices of Bitters?! We will definitely be back soon. #Seattle #pioneersquare

This bar has cool Chinese décor and trendy, casual atmosphere. We showed up first during the happy hour on Thursday and met a friendly bartender, Derrick, who spent his time in explaining the bitters and etc. My husband who is a fan of whiskey tried the Smoking gun and then, he tried their own style of «Old Fashioned» drink, which isn’t like any old fashioned drink but he was impressed with it. Warning: it’s kinda sweet. I ordered a Sidecar and loved it! I have a sweet tooth and this drink hit the spot. We plan to come back again soon with a group of friends.

Great craft cocktails. Interesting merchandise for the home bar tender. Neat low key place. Lovely old building. Also has two tv’s to catch the game.

I was this place from a distance and was so drawn to it. I had to check it out, and I’m so glad I did! It actually is a bar and a shop all in one! The selection of bitters is insane! You’ll want to pick up on the craft at the site of all the goodness they have on the shelves! We came away with some clove bitters made by someone from Seattle. We also had a drink during happy hour while waiting for our tour. I had the French 75 served up(the menu version is on the rocks and the kind owner asked if I preferred it the classic way without me asking). It was so good and not overwhelming on any one ingredient! I drank it up so easy and could have gone for one more but I had a lot of underground walking up ahead so it was a good idea to stick to just one. Lastly, drink prices were really good for happy hour! $ 8 for my crafty, quality drink, it’s a no brainer! Oh, the real last thing, ask about the history of the building, it may intrigue you! ;)

A great bar for a late afternoon cocktail. Drinks here are definitely«crafted» here, with lots of attention to detail. The Tequila Negroni was amazing… they have a great selection of bitters as well. The bar is located in the heart of historic Pioneer Square, but is connected to the Trinity nightclub.

Beautiful bar. Friendly bartender/owner. Gem of a place to take a break and craft cocktails while wandering downtown Seattle.

For bar supplies and accessories this is a really cool place just to see what type of hardware is involved. Whether you own a bar, your own bartender at parties or just fascinated in general with kitchen gear, this is a cool place. I am not into the bar seen, however, learned a lot in terms of what is out there for product. My lack of knowledge prevents me from doing a constructive price comparison. They have some mixology classes(I’ve been to a few just for shits and giggles even though I don’t drink but love learning about food and drink in general). Staff are amazing.

If you love artistry, atmosphere, and a potentially life altering experience you must come here! Please frequent this center of mixology excellence. These folks are not bartenders. They are Monets. The Bar Shoppe should be a Seattle landmark. Support this local treasure.

Great spot for craft cocktails. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere, great service, & awesome décor. The best part of my visit, is a result of my own stupidity. I had a wad of cash fall out of my pocket, & didn’t realize it until a few hours later; I assumed I had lost it. I decided all I could do, was drink to bury my sadness, 6 hours later, I returned to my hotel. I had a message at the front desk, saying a Gentleman named Anthony(owner) stopped by & said he had my money… score!!! I would highly recommend stopping by here, the next time you want to grab a few rounds of delicious libations, you won’t be disappointed. I’m still impressed but the kind, honest acts of Anthony & his staff, definitely a classy group of people!

Love this place! Drive! Run! Walk! Bike… Just go! I cannot resist a 5-star rating after just one visit. Anthony and Michael are a wealth of knowledge. They have tools for sale such as the biggest collection of fancy bitters that I have ever seen. They also recommend a bar tool called the smoking gun, which they don’t sell but they definitely used to their advantage when creating craft cocktails. The décor is dark wood and Asian to match the original ceiling with exquisite detail. See my photos. Plus it was the middle of a Monday and a little bit slow, so they gave us a tour of the entire night club which is open on Friday and Saturday nights. But the real reason to come here, it’s definitely the genius craft cocktails. Michael and Anthony interact with you while they make you their specialties on the menu or something special just for you. They lean towards whiskey, scotch, bourbon drinks, but they also have absence and a few tequila options.

Bar Shoppe sells barware and drink supplies and serves drinks too. its a great combo that let us taste what we might buy. We drank the best Pisco Sour we’ve ever had and bought perfect Moscow Mule mugs. Lovely owners gave us lots of great recommendations of where to eat too.

Go here. It’s that simple. The place is a gem with both a full bar plus supplies for sale(including all sorts of amazing looking elixirs) in the front room AND a cozy back room. The drinks are superb, original and interesting. And the waitstaff as friendly as can be.

Great selection of bar tools, bitters, and all with a craft cocktail bar! The owner was super helpful and friendly. Looking forward to having one of their barrel-aged Manhattans. Pioneer Square gets another great addition.
