The pork and shrimp rolls we’re yummy. I loved the oxtail in the oxtail phở. I selected the low carb version of phở which substituted zucchini mushroom noodles. Zucchini noodles are good — surprise. The broth is solid(spicy version). The raw beef included in the phở was a bit tough though.

We went here after a Phở place down the street told us that had no more vegan broth so I looked on Unilocal and found this place near by. We ordered 2 vegan phở soups. The service was good, the food was fast, the soup was huge and fresh. We’re just visiting from out of town, but we’d come back if we lived there. I liked that it was clean and didn’t seem to be dirty or dingy like some of the other noodle houses.

I went here once for the old menu and once for the new menu. I think whatever I ate last time isn’t on the menu anymore, which is too bad because it was good… but my recent visit was good, too. Things are a tad more expensive than they should be, except the banh mi, which looked WAY over-priced. Large variety of fresh rolls, and the ones we got(apple basil chicken and shrimp) were delicious. Peanut sauce was great, too, and the waitress kept offering us extra sauce, which is awesome. You know it’s a good sign when you order something, and everyone working there says it’s their favorite dish. It was awesome. Steamed coconut chicken rice in cast iron pot. They give you a sauce to pour in and it sizzles. I’d go back for that dish!

Came by for happy hour after a show at the Intiman. Apparently they’re under new management so they don’t offer bahn mi on the happy hour menu anymore, but the menus at the tables haven’t been updated. Should probably see to that, management… We had two glasses of red wine, some garlic wings, mango spring rolls and shrimp & pork spring rolls. The spring rolls were very tasty and fresh, and the wings were nicely salty and garlicky. Good wine with good-sized pours. When our bill came out, it appeared that the happy hour prices didn’t reflect on the menu — our server explained that it was because the prices on the items weren’t updated in the system, and quickly resolved the issue. If I’m ever in Queen Anne and I want a cheap bite to eat, I’d definitely come back here. The food isn’t mind-blowing, but it is quite good and a great deal at happy hour. The bill was $ 26 after tax and tip. We left satisfied.

Stopped in here after a little Queen Anne birthday tour for my sister(Chopstix, Ozzies, etc). This place, while small, is also really fun, hosts a mixed crowd and good happy hour food(served late). It’s ALSO the only place we went without annoying birthday and bachelorette parties crawling everywhere like cockroaches. (Even though we were one of them. camouflaged. By this I mean we were not dressed in ridiculous, too-tight dresses for our body types, draped in pink sashes, and backing it up on some creepy piano player our dad’s age). ANYwho, like I said it has a great mixed crowd and fun karaōke. Interesting tidbit: the volume of the mic is so low compared to the background music, you’ll be talking to your friends and not even realize a new singer has taken the corner stage. A good thing if you’re more into your group; a bad thing if you’re one of those«professional» karaōke singers. You know what I’m talkin’ about. They have every move down. the reach-back high note, sitting on the stage, perfected shout-outs, two hands on the mic, doing what their stage mom told them to do SO. MANY. TIMES.(*tear*) Service was good, but the waitress’ blouse was too low-cut(man, am I an old lady or WHAT) and my stir fried veggies/chicken, while fresh and accompanied by delicious thin rice noodles, were too peppered and spicy. In addition, spring rolls were ordered at our table(also voted too spicy) and a pork sandwich(voted delicious, one-of-a-kind). All in all I would definitely come back when the belly calls for some food. post-alcohol consumption and pre-sleepy time.

Convenient place for Vietnamese food in the Belltown/LQA area, although there are better options in the International District(such as Greenleaf, of course!) Happy hour here is a good deal. Lunch and dinner prices are not bad, although I’d wait for afternoon or late evening happy hour if you can. Service has always been good. I’ve liked everything I’ve had here, especially the banh mi(although I know banh mi is cheaper in Chinatown) and salt and pepper tofu. I wouldn’t recommend the phở. I personally don’t order phở from restaurants that don’t have«Phở» in the name, but a friend ordered it. To no surprise, the broth was inadequate.

I went back to check out their late night HH where the drinks were solid and the food specials were perfectly priced. To accompany our amaretto sours, we ordered several items. The Canh Ga Chien(chicken wings) were marinated with fish sauce, garlic, chicken powder, sugar and pepper then fried to a nice crispness. The fried pork and shrimp wontons(Hoanh Thanh Chien) were good and not greasy, served with sweet chili sauce. The garlic French fries were interesting. They were crinkle-cut potatoes sautéed with green onion, garlic and chicken powder. I don’t know if I’d get them again. I WOULD get the Goi Bo again. A romaine lettuce salad with stir-fried marinated flank steak with tomatoes, cucumbers and lime juice tossed with cilantro. Our server was attentive and chatty, in a good way. And parking was relatively easy for that time of night. All in all, I’d come back for their regular service or the HH. I don’t know if the karaōke machine comes out that early though…

Aw, it’s really not as bad as people say but then again, the staff already recognize me so might be more attentive than usual.(I can’t help it, their Banh Mi’s are much too enticing) Their Happy Hour was basically established last week and if they threw in a couple of more dishes on there, it’d be well on it’s way to becoming one of the most popular in the Queen of A. You know a Happy Hour is extra on the«Happy» side when you decide to get 80% of the menu in one go! Garlic chicken wings, sauteed green beans(DIVINEGARLIC), fried wontons(needs cream cheese, everything is better with cream cheese), spring rolls and egg rolls. And drum roll ladies and gentlemen … several are $ 2 *jaws drop everywhere* Beers flowing on tap and bottles of beer for less than 4 dollahs, now that’s money honey.

I bought a TIPPR gift certificate that says it can be used for Happy Hour and can be used for To Go orders. NOTSOMUCH. Tried to use it for to go– they said no. Then sat down and tried to use it for Happy Hour– they said no. Totally bogas and I won’t be back. Servers were rude about everything and aren’t honoring a deal they worked with TIPPR to sell. «bait & switch» No thank you Signature. Have a nice day.
